Everything about this hotel is perfect! Every time we came back from the hotel the staff greeted us with a cold scented towel. That was simply heavenly considering the steaming weather in Siem Reap. Delicious breakfast, and the swing seats were cozy and fun. If I have to pick one thing to complain it would be that the insulation wasn’t great. Our room was not far from the swimming pool and we could hear other guests’ voices clearly when they chatted by the pool bar.
Couple from London. ”
Perfectly located boutique hotel on a well maintained and quiet side street just a few blocks away from all the action. I read all of the reviews prior to our visit about the staff, and those reviews were spot on. We did not meet a single staff member that was not only willing, but anxious to assist and please us. We saw all of the other larger hotels we considered while there, and said over and over again how happy we were that we chose the smaller more intimate Shinta. The restaurants were great as well (thanks Remy and Patricia) as was our hotel tour guide to Angkor Wat (ask for Johnny Temple). All in all, you can’t go wrong at the Shinta.
loved the position and great hotel we could walk around and see the site of Cambodia beautiful pool and clean and friendly staff
Dear Leonie, Thank you very much for your kind review about us during your stay. Shinta Mani Angkor is best location that is the convenient to the central such as night market, pub street. We are delighted to hear that you were enjoy with the pool and the atmosphere around the hotel with the helpful staffs. We are confident to share your feedback to our members. We hope that we can welcome you again in the future. Best regards, The Management Team
Treated like family ”
The hotel was beautiful and relaxing. The staff always looking for ways to help or assist you in having no worries. They helped with our tours, getting us tickets to see a circus show the day we arrived and always wanting to review the arrangements and costs so that we were always understanding one another when booking tours. We mentioned that we were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and they surprised us with a cake and flowers st dinner. Very sweet!! One thing that was interesting was that they gave us a device to take with us so that we can be online when we were not near a WiFi spot. We never used it, but a good idea to have.
Excellent service and location”
Stayed two nights at the Shinta Mani Club after an earlier night at the Shinta Mani Resort. Prefer the Club because the room has a standalone shower. The other key differences between the two properties are the Club has a capsule coffee machine which allows you to have coffee anything; a fruit tray; and nice wooden flooring. Breakfast selection is good, with good selection of pastries, fruits and juices. (More or less the same as that offered in the other property.) The night market and pub street are within walking distance from this property. Would return to this property if I visit Siem Reap again.
Much more than a hotel - it is an experience! ”
I stayed in Shinta Mani for 4 nights with my friends. I must admit that as a frequent traveller (travelled 4-5 times a year), this is the best accommodation experience that I have ever had!!!! Staff are exceptionally professional and passionate. You can simply feel how much they love their job and how they want to serve you from the bottom of their hearts. They enjoy chatting with travellers to establish personal bondings, understanding customers preference to provide best in class service. It is much more than "friendly staff". Every time when you came back to the hotel they handed over cold towel to clean your face and hand. When you are back to the room it is tidied up ( I mean they tidy it up every time when you are out!!!! So every time when you are back you can rest in a completely cosy room) Hotel breakfast is amazing - apart from the buffet, it's all you can eat for the a la crate until you are full. Food varies from Asian to western and they are soooooo tasty! Me and my friends all think it's the best meal we had in the whole Siem Reap. It also amazed me by the complimentary service it had. During your stay you can clean your shoes here for free (believe me shoes get really muddy after a long day in Angkor). It's just like I bought a new pair of shoes! During your stay you can enjoy both facilities in the club and the resort (just in the opposite side). When we went swimming in the resort, we were completely shocked at the staff handing over free coconut ice cream and freer massage. If you are travelling to Siem Reap, I strongly recommend Shinta Mani to you! Believe in me that it will be the best part of your trip! Thanks to staff in Shinta Mani for providing me such an amazing experience.
All the staffs are friendly and polite. They treat you like vip and they will try their best to solve your problem. I got upgraded to a bigger room, they even ask if i need a room to rest if im checking out late, and its free. Beverages and beers are free in mini bar. Location is good, just 10 minutes walk to pub street, and its quiet at night time. Breakfast buffet is good, lot of choices.Best hotel i have ever stayed.
It was my first ever visit to Siem Reap but my stay at Shinta Mani Club left a lasting impression. Right from the day I checked in, all the staff were warm and welcoming. Most spoke eloquent English, and for those who don't, were still very warm for they saw us as an opportunity to practise their conversational English. Food quality was good, especially the daily Khmer Tasting Menu. And don't miss out on the Happy Hour deal (1 for 1). If I had to come back, Shinta Mani would be my choice once again.
Superb Service!! Exceeds All Expectations!!”
You really have to stay in this hotel when you visit Siem Reap. They have the best staff that provides impeccable service in every aspect (from welcoming you to the hotel and attending to all your needs). The design of the hotel is impressively beautiful, you will always feel the quality and effort that they do in keeping the hotel clean and captivating. Food is way better than what 5-star hotels serve, their breakfast is really delicious!! You can really feel the very high standard that they set in making your stay more than wonderful!! YOU CAN'T MISS THIS HOTEL when you plan to visit Siem Reap anytime soon!
A little heaven. Love this hotel”
I travel very frequently. This hotel has the best guest service I have encountered so far. I got sick one day and had to cancel a half day tour with the hotel. The staff immediately prepared me ginger tea, breakfast along with some lovely flowers and asked me if i got better the next day. All the staffs were very nice and caring. I also like there is no pressure for tipping in this hotel. The room and everything are decorated nicely and clean. I am very impressed by this hotel and will definitely visit again!
Best Hotel Ever!”
Absolutely fantastic! I've been lucky enough to stay at a few nice hotels in my life but I can say without a doubt that this one is the best. I've never met such friendly staff who offered such impeccable service. There were so many small details which made our stay amazing. Every time we returned back to the hotel, we were greeted with a smile and a "welcome home" and given a cold towel and a bottle of water. The staff were so helpful with every matter. The food was great and affordable and the breakfast was amazing and included in the price of the room. We had a late 11pm flight and they allowed us to have a later check out at 9pm.. I've never in my life been given such a later checkout for no additional charge. Simply the best! I highyl recommend this hotel. It's close to everything. Convenient to get around and the staff and facilities are perfect!
1 of the BEST EVER! Superb service! ”
My stay in shintamani was wonderful, their staff is one of the best groups u can find .attentive and observant bunch of people. They take time to explain and impart knowledge to their guest. Beautiful lotus flower arrangements , we even got a lesson on how to fold these beautiful flowers. Very clean hotel housekeeping comes twice a day or anytime upon request. The reception is very prompt in getting request done, even a trifling request gets done as soon as they can , very helpful. The staffs are the gems of this hotel! Keep up the good work!
Amazing Staff and Nice Rooms”
The staff was amazing. So friendly and very attentive. They knew me by name and were always ready to help and serve. Rooms were really nice and always kept clean and smelling amazing. Yes the hotel keeps it smelling great with flowers everywhere. We stayed there while exploring the Angkor Wat temples and it was close to everything. Breakfast was awesome and we ate so much! I would highly recommend this hotel!
Excellent Staff. Cozy Hotel. Great Location.”
Hotel The room was modern and elegant but still very comfortable. The hotel itself is also lovely. Location Walking distance or quick remork ride to tourist spots such as Pub Street, Angkor Museum, etc. Staff The staff are accommodating and friendly. From the moment we arrived until our departure, we were always greeted with warm smiling faces. Thanks to Tevy and Treirung for being so helpful and would go out of their way to meet our needs. And to our remork driver #21 (we forgot the name as it was hard to pronounce) who always there to assists us and asks us where we want to go. Others We've asked for a late checkout a day before our departure and they've allowed us to keep our room until 8pm without additional charge. Overall Good value for money. If we will be backed in Cambodia, we will be staying here again.
The best hotel ive stayed at in my whole life!”
The best stay in a hotel in my whole Life!!! Everything was just perfect. I couldnt imagine that there is a hotel like this. They were so accomodating, food was superb, spa was the best! Most of all the people are very warm and hospitable.. We were so happy were definitely coming back soon!
Lovely hotel with friendly staff, nice ambience!”
Nice, Nice & Nice!We will not forget our stay in this boutique hotel. Everything was perfect and it really was a great choice without any doubt. Touching by the concept of this boutique hotel "Open Doors, Open Hearts". Every smile on every face is meaningful! It was a good life experience which we got in Siem Reap with all people in Shintamani ;)
Excellent boutique hotel”
We appeared at the hotel at 630am requesting for early check in and they were able to accede to our requests, even without informing them prior to our arrival. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. Every time we came back from to the hotel, we had cold towels prepared for us. The room is spacious and nicely decorated. It is not a very big hotel so there was no overcrowding. We enjoyed the stay very much! All the attractions are easily accessible via tuk tuk or taxi so the location didnt really matter that much.
We stayed here as part of our honeymoon and were greeted warmly by the staff and given flowers, scarves and a welcome drink. A lovely beginning to a lovely few days spent at this great little hotel. It's an easy tuktuk ride or a 10 min stroll into the main town and not far from the temples.
Small Hotel with Big Benefits”
My friend and I stayed at the Shinta Mani for four days last week. We spent a lot of time investigating all the various hotels in the area ahead of time and found that this hotel was a very good choice for us. We wanted to stay near the night scene but not right in town. The Shinta Mani is within walking distance of Pub Street and the markets. When it was too hot to walk we just caught a Tuk Tuk which were always available in front of the hotel. It was easy and inexpensive to get around that way. The hotel has two bicycles and I used one for touring around the hidden roads off the beaten path one day. However, I thought the bike would be free but there was a minimal charge. Be sure to ask first as they didn't tell me ahead of time. The staff is always eager to do whatever they can to help make your stay the best it can be. We set up tours with them and our guide was excellent and proficient in both English and his knowledge of Cambodian history. The drivers were good and the vehicles were of recent vintage. We had a pool side room which was spotless and in very good condition. The mini bar is stocked with soft drinks and is refilled every day free of charge. We were given a fruit basket filled with local fruits, chocolate truffles and a bag of locally grown cashews as a welcome gift which was a very nice touch. There were new bottles of water placed in the room every day too. It had a very nice shower, good air conditioning and a lovely view of the gorgeous pool. The pool was a little on the small side for real exercise but was refreshing and lovely to look at! The water fall added a soothing feeling which was great for relaxing. The dining room puts out a lovely breakfast and you can order eggs in a variety of styles, including Eggs Benedict and delicious Eggs Florentine. We only ate breakfast there so I can't speak about other meals but for breakfast there was always a fresh variety of fruits, breads and sweet rolls and cereals, coffee and
