Much more than a hotel - it is an experience! ”

excellent customer service, delicious breakfast, all the complimentary service

I stayed in Shinta Mani for 4 nights with my friends. I must admit that as a frequent traveller (travelled 4-5 times a year), this is the best accommodation experience that I have ever had!!!! Staff are exceptionally professional and passionate. You can simply feel how much they love their job and how they want to serve you from the bottom of their hearts. They enjoy chatting with travellers to establish personal bondings, understanding customers preference to provide best in class service. It is much more than "friendly staff". Every time when you came back to the hotel they handed over cold towel to clean your face and hand. When you are back to the room it is tidied up ( I mean they tidy it up every time when you are out!!!! So every time when you are back you can rest in a completely cosy room) Hotel breakfast is amazing - apart from the buffet, it's all you can eat for the a la crate until you are full. Food varies from Asian to western and they are soooooo tasty! Me and my friends all think it's the best meal we had in the whole Siem Reap. It also amazed me by the complimentary service it had. During your stay you can clean your shoes here for free (believe me shoes get really muddy after a long day in Angkor). It's just like I bought a new pair of shoes! During your stay you can enjoy both facilities in the club and the resort (just in the opposite side). When we went swimming in the resort, we were completely shocked at the staff handing over free coconut ice cream and freer massage. If you are travelling to Siem Reap, I strongly recommend Shinta Mani to you! Believe in me that it will be the best part of your trip! Thanks to staff in Shinta Mani for providing me such an amazing experience.

Awesome hotel, great friendly service and interest”

Extremely friendly and helpful staff, great rooms and good breakfast

We had a lovely stay at Shinta Mani. The experience at checkin is already different from all the other big city hotels. We were greeted by a group of friendly staff ready with jasmine scented cold towel and shown to seat at a comfortable day bed and cold juices. Reassured not to worry about grabbing our passport out immediately and to take our time. They gave us a feeling of being pampered and that the hotel staff will handle all the checkin and other craziness for us. We just sat down and relax with a refreshing drink. The service level persisted throughout our three day stay. The room has high ceilings, clean sheets and a great vibe to it. The sound system is pretty good too. Breakfast is yummy. They have eggs and noodle type of food available on order so it's always fresh and hot. The hotel also supports a great program to train rural villagers in hospitality services and some received jobs at the hotel. Definitely a great stay for this seasoned traveler and will recommend this hotel to all my friends coming to Siem reap.

Surpasses Expectations”

Proximity to city centre and Angkor Wat temples, Spa and friendliest staff ever.

It was my first ever visit to Siem Reap but my stay at Shinta Mani Club left a lasting impression. Right from the day I checked in, all the staff were warm and welcoming. Most spoke eloquent English, and for those who don't, were still very warm for they saw us as an opportunity to practise their conversational English. Food quality was good, especially the daily Khmer Tasting Menu. And don't miss out on the Happy Hour deal (1 for 1). If I had to come back, Shinta Mani would be my choice once again.

Friendly service, brand new boutique style”

Interior of rooms, great pool lounge, warm and welcoming staff

My stay at Shinta Mani was wonderful! The style of the hotel was modern with some traditional twist- really enjoyed the vibe. As for the location, I was happy to find it was very much in the centre of Siem Reap yet far enough from the main street to provide some peace. Walking to the Pub Street takes max 10min and cars and tuk-tuks are readily available for the temple tours from the hotel. Breakfast and in-room dining were both of high standards and was especially impressed by the staff and service. My first choice of hotel might have been Le Paix but since it was under some repair work, I chose this sister hotel. Glad I did!

Excellent Boutique Hotel”

Staff, Hotel Condition, Location, Food, Happy Hour....what more can you ask for?!

Our stay was at the Shinta Mani Club was just 2 nights, but it was an excellent experience. It's a unique boutique hotel with a friendly and accommodating staff. Whether at the Shinta Mani Club or Resort (across the street) you're greeted with refreshing wet towels and a big smile. Rooms were very modern and clean and perfect to relax in after a long hot day touring the amazing temples. Happy Hour at the very laid back balcony bar area is a great way to start the evening before dinner at the hotel (very good in the giant swinging beds!) or heading into old market/pub street area (5mins tops by tuk tuk or 10 min walk). Coffee and pastries were available for us before setting off to see the sunrise (that's needed big time at 4:30am). All was great at the Shinta Mani Club Hotel as is but then they really surprised me by allowing us to extend the late check out by having a room at the bigger sister hotel, Shinta Mani Resort, across the street. We packed our bags, headed into town to shop bit and Shinta Mani staff moved us in across the street. No issues or fuss at all. My only regret was not taking dip in either pool as both looked incredibly refreshing (to busy sight seeing and shopping I guess) Highly recommended place with friendly staff and management. I would definitely stay again. Cheers to their hospitality!

wonderful staff and hotel design.”

The hotel captivated with its boutique style, small but delicious breakfast buffet (dishes such as egg Benedict were made a la minute and of excellent taste) and attentive staff.

Our stay at the one year old Shinta Mani Hotel was excellent and we (both hoteliers) can highly recommend this designed boutique property. One should know that a second Shinta Mani (larger in size and more on 4* level) is under construction and will be opened soon. Throughout the hotel we only detected friendly staff, smiling and attentive with solid - very good English skills. we got offered an upgrade to a pool view room by arrival. The check in was handled in a guest oriented manner. A welcome drink was served and we were offered a seat. The room was clean, spacious, equipped with a flat screen, i-pod station, radio, king size bed and a personal note from the GM, including some fresh fruits were displayed on the desk. The bathroom was also very clean, free of any mould and offered a huge shower. The food was excellent and delicious. The small breakfast buffet was complemented by a la cart dishes such as salmon bagel, egg Benedict or fluffy pancakes. We prefer this style of breakfast as it was delicious and FRESH (not like the ordinary, often cold breakfast dishes you can find on most buffets). The terrace of the restaurant is equipped with large swings where one can enjoy the food while relaxing and lying on comfortable pillows. We both couldn't find a negative thing and will choose the hotel again. If someone likes large hotels with a selection of restaurants, large pool areas and big buffets we wouldn't recommend to stay at the Shinta Mani. It is more made for couples, enjoying a 5* service in a private and unique atmosphere.

An unforgettable respite in the heart of the city ”

Service. Service. Service!

From the early arrival and welcoming check-in we have been enveloped by the genuine kindness and untaught hospitality. While waiting for the room, we were invited to experience the sumptuous breakfast at the hotel's restaurant on the house. From a selection of fresh juices, to an abundance of homegrown, air-or-sun-dried teas including native fruit, herbs and flowers (jackfruit, mango, lotus & frangipani flowers) that you can frivolously mix and match; through exotic fruit that we feasted on at one of the outdoor swing-tables. We were surprised with a special serving of jackfruit which was hauled especially for us from the local market. Omnivores will find their myriad of egg options on the menu, home baked pastries, cereals, wild jungle honey, and even help-yourself sparkling wine on the buffet. Encouraged by the breakfast experience we didn't hesitate to try the hotel's restaurant for dinner and we were completely awe-inspired with a flavorful vegan interpretation of Khmer cuisine by the hotel's executive Chef who given just 15min notice, whipped up once of the most memorable dinners we have had in years. We've stayed in larger, more luxuriant hotels across Asia, with bigger pools, more stunning views or fascinating interiors, but Shinta Mani Club is not just unsurpassablevalue for money boutique city hotel within walking distance to the Old Town market and touristy hotspots nearby. It is the authentic hospitality that embraces you from the first "Welcome Home!", individuals that listen, observe and react to your slightest preferences, and simply are there to spoil you. Not to mention their initiatives under Shinta Mani Foundation could put much bigger, international hotel chain properties' CSR programs to shame. Comparing to other luxury hotel we stayed at in the city, Shinta Mani Club sets the bar way above the competition!

Excellent service and location”

Stayed two nights at the Shinta Mani Club after an earlier night at the Shinta Mani Resort. Prefer the Club because the room has a standalone shower. The other key differences between the two properties are the Club has a capsule coffee machine which allows you to have coffee anything; a fruit tray; and nice wooden flooring. Breakfast selection is good, with good selection of pastries, fruits and juices. (More or less the same as that offered in the other property.) The night market and pub street are within walking distance from this property. Would return to this property if I visit Siem Reap again.

Our best hotel stay ever, anywhere”

The service at the Shinta Mani Club is the best I've experienced in my hundreds of hotel stays around the world over many years. The staff is attentive, welcoming, friendly and helpful in every possibly way, without any stuffiness or pretentiousness. The hotel is stylish, cool and relaxing, with an exceptional attention to detail -- a refreshing oasis from the dusty heat of the Angkor temples. The spacious rooms are well-appointed, with a great shower, excellent air-conditioning and comfortable bed, and restocked with fresh fruit daily. The public spaces overflow with flowers, especially arrangements of lotus flowers created onsite daily. The lap pool surrounded by palm trees is a small work of art. Breakfast is very good, both the buffet and menu choices. But as excellent as the hotel is physically, it's staff that makes the Shinta Mani Club outstanding.

Boutique, eco-friendly hotel”

Interesting artwork, fantastic staff, great pool bar!

After a full day of exploring the wonderful Siem Reap monuments, it was relaxing to come back to this hotel. The spa services were excellent, on par with other more well known brand hotels. The restaurant had both Western and Angkor style foods - all delicious. The staff were kind and genuine. The artwork throughout the hotel was original, and the atmosphere was peaceful. Close enough to walk to the markets, but still an inexpensive tuk-tuk ride if you did not feel like walking. Especially enjoyed swimming in the lap pool - kid friendly too.

Shinta Mani Hotel”

The Spa, position, graciousness, hotel training school for Cambodian village teenagers who were all so self effacing and keen to do the right thing. Organises aid for Cambodian people. generous supplies of water and fruit every day. Food lovely.
Lady manager not all together helpful at times. Felt certain requests were a bit of an effort at times.

A lovely hotel in the heart of Siem Reap, staff lovely and really a charming positive place to stay. Only small and intimate. The spa gave me the best hot stone massage I had ever had and facial as after 3 days of cycling aroung Cambodia in the heat and humidity I really needed it, it ironed out all the aches and pains. The room was lovely and little touches like flowers and fruit and nice soaps and oils made it quite special. The only negative was the lady manager didnt seem to accomodate our requests very well. Said she could change a flight for us that other hotels along the way had done very easily. She said there had been a 2 day holiday in Vietnam so no one was answering there phone and when we got to Vietnam we fouhd this not to be true. Another thing was we were on a cycling tour and left the hotel every day at 0800 and on the last day we would be back by 1400 to pack up and go to the airport by 1700. We asked if we could have a late check out so we would shower before we left but she said no as the hotel was full and she needed the room so we had to pack up and be out of the room by 0800 and leave our baggage in the storeroom and have a shower in the Spa when we got back. If they had been full I wouldnt have minded but it certainly wasnt full when we were there and according to someone who will remain nameless it wasnt full then. Just annoyed me a bit. All the other staff were divine. The aid program seemed impressive but one of the taxi drivers said it was a ploy to get the tourists. Hope not as the country needs all the aid it can get.

Serene”

Cocktails, friendly staff, swinging beds!

Loved this hotel - the food is excellent, all of the staff were super friendly and caring, and the entire experience is one of serenity and relaxation. We could not have been looked after better. We stayed at the Shinta Mani Club, favourite things were cocktail hour (2 for 1 cocktails) at the bar, and chilling in the big swinging day-beds. Food was excellent quality. The rooms are lovely (we stayed in a deluxe), big and comfortable. Slightly noisy (there is some construction going on nearby, and a sports and recreation centre next door, which has lively games of volleyball particularly during the day and afternoon) so if you're very sensitive to noise, ask them for a room elsewhere in the hotel which is probably quieter. Or stay over at the Shinta Mani Resort across the road, also beautiful and I think would be quieter. Although this was slightly annoying when trying to have an afternoon nap, it wasn't a major problem and it was good to see the locals enjoying themselves. Overall an excellent property, incredibly well-managed and worth the slightly high prices.

Small Hotel with Big Benefits”

Good location, small feeling hotel with a personal touch, good food, attentive staff, immaculate rooms, good amenities, lovely in house spa
The internet was unreliable much of the time, small pool, in spite of defogging mosquitos abound

My friend and I stayed at the Shinta Mani for four days last week. We spent a lot of time investigating all the various hotels in the area ahead of time and found that this hotel was a very good choice for us. We wanted to stay near the night scene but not right in town. The Shinta Mani is within walking distance of Pub Street and the markets. When it was too hot to walk we just caught a Tuk Tuk which were always available in front of the hotel. It was easy and inexpensive to get around that way. The hotel has two bicycles and I used one for touring around the hidden roads off the beaten path one day. However, I thought the bike would be free but there was a minimal charge. Be sure to ask first as they didn't tell me ahead of time. The staff is always eager to do whatever they can to help make your stay the best it can be. We set up tours with them and our guide was excellent and proficient in both English and his knowledge of Cambodian history. The drivers were good and the vehicles were of recent vintage. We had a pool side room which was spotless and in very good condition. The mini bar is stocked with soft drinks and is refilled every day free of charge. We were given a fruit basket filled with local fruits, chocolate truffles and a bag of locally grown cashews as a welcome gift which was a very nice touch. There were new bottles of water placed in the room every day too. It had a very nice shower, good air conditioning and a lovely view of the gorgeous pool. The pool was a little on the small side for real exercise but was refreshing and lovely to look at! The water fall added a soothing feeling which was great for relaxing. The dining room puts out a lovely breakfast and you can order eggs in a variety of styles, including Eggs Benedict and delicious Eggs Florentine. We only ate breakfast there so I can't speak about other meals but for breakfast there was always a fresh variety of fruits, breads and sweet rolls and cereals, coffee and

Perfectly located boutique hotel on a well maintained and quiet side street just a few blocks away from all the action. I read all of the reviews prior to our visit about the staff, and those reviews were spot on. We did not meet a single staff member that was not only willing, but anxious to assist and please us. We saw all of the other larger hotels we considered while there, and said over and over again how happy we were that we chose the smaller more intimate Shinta. The restaurants were great as well (thanks Remy and Patricia) as was our hotel tour guide to Angkor Wat (ask for Johnny Temple). All in all, you can’t go wrong at the Shinta.

Simply Wonderful!”

I cannot say enough good things about the stylish Shinta Mani Angkor hotel. The decor is stunning, the location is wonderful but what makes this place completely stand out is the friendliness and calibre of the staff. Nothing was too much trouble. From the Manager coming over to inform us that he felt we should leave earlier for the marathon (he was right!) to always being greeted with a smiley 'welcome home' and a lemon grass scented cooling flannel. First class - I very much plan to visit again.

Make my trip”

Good staff, food, environment

We were treated a welcome drink & wet towel once arrived. Even we went out later and came back, the staff would do the same again. This is very sweet and considerate. The food was really nice, which was probably the best over the town. We had our breakfast, lunch and dinner in the same restaurant and we did not get bored. The environment and design was cozy and relaxing, we spent the whole afternoon in the swimming pool, and we were treated with free ice cream! The staff was really high quality, greeting with smiles always. Love this hotel! Would come back for sure if I visit siem reap again in the future!

Ultimate comfort!”

Everything about this hotel is perfect! Every time we came back from the hotel the staff greeted us with a cold scented towel. That was simply heavenly considering the steaming weather in Siem Reap. Delicious breakfast, and the swing seats were cozy and fun. If I have to pick one thing to complain it would be that the insulation wasn’t great. Our room was not far from the swimming pool and we could hear other guests’ voices clearly when they chatted by the pool bar.

Best hotel in Siem Leap”

Design, Service, Location

it is one of the best hotels I have ever been in Asia. their service and room condition is far beyond my expectation!. I can compare Shinta Mani Club to Park Hyatt Siem Leap...much cheaper, same design, better swimming pool, and incredible service! everthing was perfect~ I and my family, all enjoyed very well.
