Shinta Mani Shack is located in the midst of the French Quartier between the Old Market Area and The Royal Gardens. The resort offers over 60 rooms and a junior suite with stunning views of the swimming pool and lush tropical gardens from the first floor balcony. The common areas feature an all-day dining café/restaurant, conference and meeting facilities, and complimentary Wi-Fi throughout. Bensley’s Bar, Kroya Restaurant, and The Spa are just across the resort at the Shinta Mani Club and are open to guests for their enjoyment. Shinta Mani Shack strongly supports responsible tourism and community outreach through the Shinta Mani Foundation which is located at the nearby Shinta Mani Club. The Foundation provides free hospitality training to less fortunate members of the Siem Reap community. A stay at Shinta Mani Shack helps the Shima Mani Foundation to achieve its goal of creating a better opportunity for the people of Cambodia. A percentage of guests' daily rooms rate will be donated to the Foundation to support their activities.

Very nice ”
Amazing stuff , good breakfast
I had a wonderful stay! staff were very helpful and gave us amazing hospitality.we stay a week but wanted to stay more so comfortable. breakfast was gorgeous as well, have lots of selection of foods and delicious. the spa was very relaxing and good price. if you are looking for somewhere nice place to stay, definitily recommend this hotel!
I loved the charm of the hotel and the friendly smile of the staff. Excellent service and attentive staff; too English and ability to think what the customer might need for a pleasant stay. Strongly recommend
Excellent service and location”
Stayed one night before moving over to the Shinta Mani Club across the road. The Shinti Mani Resort is the bigger property. Both properties are well location - far from the crowded pub areas but within walking distance to the "pub street" and the night market. Staff are friendly and always have a smile on their face. The room was clean and spacious. The only issue we had was the shower with is part of the bath tub. After each shower, the floor was all wet and took some time for the water to drain. Otherwise, no major issues; the beds were comfortable and the air-conditioning was working well. Breakfast selection was good and there was a good selection of juices and pastries. All in all, I prefer the Shanti Mani Club across the road mainly because it had a stand-alone shower, and nicer interiors.
Amazing staff and surprisingly true reviews”
I have had my share of Asian hospitality and can confirm Shinty Mani is on top of things. Loved the garden access room that was still private and the attention to detail. We didn't see a place we'd rather stay at, especially prefer the downtown but quiet location over the big hotel brands slightly more outside.
Luxury home comforts”
From the moment we were picked up at the airport, the staff at Shinto Mani made you feel very welcome and special. Throughout the stay, they could not do enough for you and always had a smile together with a cold towel and water for all their guests. The wonderful smells and design make this place a very memorable one and we would highly recommend you consider staying here, for a relaxing and luxurious Cambodian treat.
Best hotel I ever stayed”
It was the best hotel I every stayed in my life. The staff at Shinta Mani made us felt at home. Whenever we returned to our hotel, the staff will always greet us with warm smile with cold towels and drinks (at any time). While taking a swim at their pool, the staff continue to surprise us with Ice Cream and 10 mins massage by the pool. I will definitely come back again.
Room was lovely, just as the pictures.. Breakfast by the pool was very pleasant and though the massages were really cheap outside, theSpa was very reasonably priced as well and definitely 5star quality! totally worth every penny! Loved the humble service as well!
Top tier Siem Reap hotel experience”
The hotel is excellent (both sides, the Club and the Resort). The hotel is very professionally managed and the staff there are all very friendly. Rooms are very clean (due to the fact that the hotel itself is very new) and the entire place is very stylish.
One word, awesome...”
The best stay in a resort or hotel for years! Enough said. Breakfast is not much, just basic local and western selections but very high quality! Staff and manager are very warm, helpful and resourceful. Have a chat with them and they will give you tips of what to do, where to go.. rooms are very nice. Awesome stay, awesome holiday, awesome time mainly because of the hotel! Im not into temples etc, but the hotel was memorable...
Fantastic boutique hotel”
We stayed at Shinta Mani for 4 nights in mid-March and were extremely impressed. It's great design and feels like an oasis. Staff are amazing - the cool towels and the "welcome home" comment on arrival are a nice touch. Food was great - breakfast buffet was small but very high quality. I highly recommend it - excellent value.
Good location, friendly staff and nice spa”
The staff was very friendly and helpful always. My flight out was at midnight, but they let me use the room until then without extra charge. The spa in the hotel was amazong, and was great experience I had. Hotel located in middle of the city and was walking distance to all shopping venues. Only negative part was the size of the room. It was bit too small.. and even it was delicious, breakfast selection was very minimal and lack of selection.
Beautiful Grounds, Decent Rooms”
Our stay at Shinta Mani Shack was overall very good. The building is absolutely gorgeous and the staff are exceptionally helpful and kind. Our only negatives are the rooms are a bit small (relative to other hotels we stayed at in Siem Reap), the bathrooms are very basic (though modern and clean), and it is located a bit outside of the city center (20 minute walk to the night market and pub street). The grounds are gorgeous though, and the pool area is one of the best we've had anywhere. If you want a relaxing stay at a beautiful resort, this is your spot!
Wonderful trip ”
I would recommend this hotel to anyone whom is planning to visit Siem Reap Cambodia, I would stay there if I go to Siem Reap again, as it is in the quite area of city centre, 5 mins walking distance to the centre, the hotel staff is very friendly and helpful, hotel is clean and have everything you need, or you can ask for help with tour and transport.
Memorable experience. Amazing service”
I cannot say enough about the immaculate service here. The staff think of it all for you in advance without asking. E.g breakfast tiffin, cold towel, cold water for day trips, morning calls, early checkin etc. The premises is well kept and beautiful. It's a short distance from the crowded zone (night market etc). You can take a 5min tuktuk or just walk in the evening.
Gorgeous boutique hotel”
Shinta Mani Shack was a gorgeous boutique hotel with beautiful designs (especially in the lobby). There is another Shina Mani that is a couple of blocks away that looked like a much larger property, but we were more than happy with Shinta Mani Shack. I don't know if it was just a coincidence, but the only other guests there were adults, so with that combined with the smaller size of the property, gave a more cozy and personal feel. Relaxing by the pool after a morning of temple-touring was fantastic.
An amazing hotel with even more amazing staff! ”
We were lucky enough to be upgraded to the Shinta Mani Angkor, though the Shinta Mani Shack looked great too! This hotel was stunning and not like your typical chain hotel! ( I travel a lot for business so this hotel was a refreshing change!) I couldn’t fault the hotel and it was the perfect location, walkable to restaurants and bars and a $2 tuk tuk to pub street. We did walk to pub street a few times, it’s only about 10minutes but in the heat of the day and for some extra fun why not use one of the hotels Tuk Tuks?!? The staff in both hotels couldn’t be friendly, in particular Jack and Son always welcoming you home with a smile and a cool lemon towel, “Jessica” at the front desk ( sorry I can’t recall Khmer name) Sophann in the Bensley bar-his wife does the stunning flower arrangements, and last but certainly not least Sophy who served us breakfast on the swinging beds in the restaurant ( so cool) and taught us Khmer, we are not experts but he humoured us! Thank you Shinta Mani!
fabulous hotel and spotless delectable breakfast, eggs benedict with salmon! even arranged gluten free bread! Beds comfortable and rooms stylish, suggest you upgrade to pool view room worth it. felt they overcharge for taxis and services though.
We have been to Siem Reap three times and have stayed at different types of accommodation, and I can say without a doubt that we will return to Shinta Mani! The location is perfect: close to town and temples but not to the noise and crowds. The food is top notch: fresh and creative without being fussy. The rooms and facilities are lovely: the decor is quirky and peaceful; the outdoor areas are lovely and green. The staff is what really makes this place five star: they knew our names on day one; knew our usual breakfast orders by day two; inquired about arranging our tours and excursions, and arranged transport/reservations for us whenever we needed. Nothing felt pushy or contrived...all staff from top level management to the person who cleaned our shoes after a particularly dirty quad-bike tour were helpful, polite and friendly. They all seemed to truly enjoy their jobs. If you want wonderful boutique hotel, I highly recommend Shinta Mani! Thanks Sophear, Son, Leav, etc!
Charm and Hospitality ”
Great boutique hotel. Clean and great location. Pool was nice and relaxing. 2 Restaurant options that have a good selection of food choices on their menus. Traditional LokLak and Fish Amok were very tasty. Highlight for a westerner was the pork ribs; Incredible. Couldn’t ask for better customer service. Very kind staff that really want you to enjoy your experience.
