“Without dust, everything is perfect!”
This is the accommodation near Hakata Station where I stayed for 2 nights and 3 days during my first trip to Fukuoka. I was assigned a room with a view of the railway. There was some noise from the subway station, but I enjoyed it like a lullaby and fell asleep. I liked the sounds of the trains and bus engines, which added a romantic touch. The scenery changed with the subway passing by in the morning, noon, and evening, making it very beautiful. The bed and bedding were very comfortable and clean. Additionally, it was a really beautiful room with a separate bathtub and toilet/sink. I highly recommend this hotel for those who enjoy soaking in a tub or prefer a clean sink with a separated bathroom. While the bathroom and bed were clean, there was a lot of dust inside the room. I suffer from dust allergies, so it was tougher than I expected. I took all my allergy medication. The air conditioning was not cleaned, so I had to open the window and turn on the air conditioning. Otherwise, I could see dust accumulating on the table, TV screen, and even inside the cup. Dust builds up in less than an hour. There was only a small opening for the window, making it difficult to ventilate the room. I think it might be even harder to open the window in the middle of summer because of the heat. Aside from the dust issue, it is a very good hotel. It is about a 10-minute walk from the station, conveniently close to a convenience store, and since it's not in a busy area, it was nice to rest quietly in the evening and at night. The staff were also friendly and kindly helped with storing my luggage before check-in. They stored my bags at the accommodation in advance, which was convenient. If the dust issue can be resolved, I would love to return to this hotel for my next trip to Fukuoka. Thank you.
