Shree Tibet family guest house is my second home. ”
i like this guest house because of it is very close to shopping center. I stayed this guest house more then 15 times because of people are very friendly and manager San speaking Japanese so I feel like my home. I do a business here to buy a clothes and sell to Japan. They always help me to get it and they store my luggage. Mostly in Thamel no power but here is a janerater and if no power in the night time they turn on the power which is most important for me. They offer me always masala tea for free which is best hospitalities........ If you have a ticket problem manager san help you and offer very cheap price and he never charge over price. Once I booked chitwan tour from his office which is best service and hardly recommend you to stay landmark resort chitwan which cost 230$ for 2 night 3 day package programmed. Oh!!! Don't forget to stay in hotel family home if you go to pokhara and cost is 25$ with breakfast AC good deal...... I always recommend you Shree Tibet family guest house and manager dan surendra!!! I will back to your hotel end of August manager San!!! Stay well and healthy........ Miss you all people at shree Tibet family guest house.

Best Trekking Arangement!!!”
I found Shree Tibet on-line and after a very simple e-mail confirmation I was picked up at the airport by Shree's driver, Surendra, at midnight, and taken to Shree Tibet. I was greeted by prayer wheels in the entrance and the warmest staff who had a room waiting. I walked into my large room with double bed and ensuite. WOW. Was it 4 star no, but was it instantly home, yes. Culturally everything was perfect (yes the bed was not pillow top and the pillows were not Down feather - but this is not Kansas). The guest house is in the middle of the action - so, after a good night sleep, I ate breakfast from the house menu and after eggs, toast and tea, I emerged into the calamity of Kathmandu early the first morning. After three nights I joined my pre-booked tour and moved to a 5 star hotel (lawns, pool, hard single beds and hard pillows, etc.), out of the the Thamel centre. That place was disappointing and I longed to return to Shree Tibet - so I would walk back to Shree and visit. After my tour concluded, three weeks, I returned to Shree for my last night in KTM and said good-bye to my new family. The manager, also Surendra, was fantastic in organizing driving tours and suggesting things to see. My driver and I spent as much time together as two close friends. What a total treat. My opinion, Shree Tibet and its staff were the highlights of my time in Nepal.

Great staff and service”
Altogether, we stayed about a week at Shree Tibet and found it a helpful, convenient, and relaxing experience. We booked flight tickets from Kathmandu to Lukla from the adjoining travel agency, and we got the best deal with Shree Tibet. When we finished our trek early and wanted to return back to Kathmandu earlier than our ticket was dated, the Shree Tibet travel agent was extremely helpful in getting us back to Kathmandu, with no extra charge. There are hot showers available 24 hours a day, as the water heater is on a generator, which is very rare in Kathmandu. They also have free internet that can be used when electricity is available. The room is cheap, and it includes an adjoining bathroom, also a great deal in Thamel. All in all, we'd wholeheartedly recommend Shree Tibet's hotel and its travel agency.

Its perfect location, clean and friendly staff”
It was nice stay at shree tibet family guest house. I stayed many time in this guest house and i still not found any bad things.It is center location, walking distance to shopping are and restaurant. People who work at shree tibet always smiling and try to solve the problem, Wifi can use in the room and room are inough clean, There is always hot shower working and when power cut they turn on the janerater. There is a travel desk on the hotel and always offering cheap price for sightseeing, ticketing etc... I bought the flight ticket to pokhara and offer me very cheap price.Every mont i come to nepal and always stay at shree tibet. I hardly recommend you people who are looking for cheap,center location and friendly staff.

Clean, Comfortable Guest House”
After studyingreviews of many accommodations I chose Shree Tibet Family Guest House. I was not disappointed! Excellent communication; emails to arrange for airport pick led to reserving a bus to Pokhara and all went very smoothly due to Surendra's very good English and attention to detail. Surendra and his front desk staff are very kind, helpful, gracious and so genuine. We were there during the Teej festival and they encouraged us to walk to Durbar square to experience some of the excitement, great advice! We found the beds firm and comfortable, I found the pillow too firm but had my travel pillow; my daughter liked the firm pillow. Internet was adequate for checking emails but if you need more there is a recessed internet 'cafe' 2 doors to the left as you leave the guest house. Friendly and helpful there too. It was our first experience in Nepal and the genuine hospitality Surendra and his staff showed us helped to make us feel less like strangers in a strange land and more like friends. Sincere thanks!

It is perfect location and i stayed at shree tibet family guest house many time. Location,staff and facilities are main positive of this guest house. Staff always smiling and try to solved the problem if any...It is clean enough like bed sheet, room, toilet always clean however, toilet is bit small but no problem for budget travellers.If you are looking for budget not a 5 star service try to stay shree tibet, its you second home.

Friendly Guest House!!!”
We are a group of three staying with Shree Tibet GH for three nights. We bought a 9 days trekking package to ABC which was at Avery competitive price. The owner, Mr Surendra, discussed and gave useful advices about the trekking, tailor made the trekking package for us. It's suggested to seek the trekking tour with the GH you are staying, in case of a any emergency or problem, it's easier to ask for help and assistance. We left our passport and wallet in the hotel at Pokhara and we found that after three hours trip on bus towarding Kathmandu. We called Mr Surendra and he assisted in returning the passport as well as wallet without losing a dollar. This is a reliable GH and managing by honest staffs. We HIGHLY recommend Shree Tibet GH to travellers who want to do trekking around Nepal on budget base!!

My best memory”
I went to Nepal in October 2014 with some friends. We spent just one days at Hotel Shree Tibet, where we felt pretty much at home. The services were excellent around the clock and the people there particularly the manager was amazingly nice, warm, and very service-minded. Moreoever, I found the location very convenient to go out for shopping and dining. I also decided to have him arrange for my groups a travel to Poonhill where it turned out to be a memorable trip assisted by a professional mountain guide and its management.Hotel Shree Tibet would certainly be my home for a next excursion to Kathmandu.If someone looking for nice stya in thamel plz, visit here. Best Budget Hotel in Thamel”
Great central location in the centre of the backpacking district of Thamel and close to all the local shops, restaurants and bars. Shree Tibet has four floors of modest, but perfectly clean, budget rooms. The staff are friendly, the in-house restaurant is cheap (although I can't comment on the food because we didn't have any) and there is a quaint little roof terrace where you can escape the hustle and bustle of the below streets. The best thing about the hotel is the price of course, which is extremely reasonable - and the staff also arranged an airport transfer for us at an unearthly hour in the morning. Very happy with the overall experience. Will return again.

this is a wonderful hotel and i highly recommend it. i stayed here for several times and would return again if i have a chance. it is run by welcoming, friendly, helpful staff who care about hospitality. they will try to help you with any concerns or questions you have. they’ll greet you with a smile and ask how your day was.if you need some tour information, mr.arjun and his travel manager can provide you anykinds of tour. their sincere warmth made a big difference, especially nepali cultural tour at village such as nepali wedding ceremony at pokhara. the hotel, at budget rates, also offers everything you really need: a generator, very hot showers, clean and sunny rooms, a room heater for the winter, a water dispenser with hot & cold drinking water, free wifi, laundry service, and a security guard. the generator is important: perhaps all hotels have generators, but not all hotels use it generously; basically, at hotel shree tibet you have electricity at all waking hours. the well-tended garden is beautiful and peaceful, as is the rooftop terrace with great city views. the restaurant serves delicious dishes all day. the location is very convenient - thamel is just around the corner, durbar square is 20 minutes away, and it is a good stroll to swayambhunath. i walked to asan, lazimpat, and a few times to ratna bus park and dilli bazaar…but maybe that’s just me. greetings and a big thank you to all the staff for providing me with a home away from home, i will remember my time

We really enjoyed our stay at Shree Tibet. The service was great with really attentive and helpful staff any hour of the day. The price was definitely affordable, and the location in Thamel was perfect- still in the midst of shops, but a bit off the beaten track. We ended up staying there maybe a week or more.

i stayed in the hotel first time i arrived to kathmandu. after my return from the trek around annapurna massive i was looking for another hotel in thamel to get more experience with nepali accomodation. but considering the price and comfort, no other hotel in thamel could beat shree tibet hotel. thus i stayed there for another 4 nights.

I stayed this guest house almost one weeks.I like every things in this guest house.it is located center of thamel and you can use lobby computer for chicking an email. High speed free intrenet if you have your own loptop. Most important things of this hotel is staff who are alwauys ready to solve your problems. Small travel agency offer you whatever you want like sightseeing and trekking. I booked small trekking from here and my guide pasang sherpa was really help full and ready for solve all kinds of problems. I booked room here by booking.com and I just payed fifteen dollors for singl use. Under full stay if you are staying in this guest house.

The people who work at Shree Tibet Family Guesthouse are friendly and kind. The location is in a great part of Thamel where it is somehow quite while still being in the heart of the city. There are a lot of great shops and restaurants all within walking distance. All in all a pleasant stay for a budget traveler.

The best value I have ever had in KTM and this was my 7th trip to Nepal. I would highly recommend it unless you have an unlimited budget and then the Yeti and Yak might suit you better (except they can not match the great location of the Shree Tibet)! Stay here if you are looking for a great value in KTM with nice staff!
