Nice small family owned hotel”
We stayed here over NYE. The owner are very friendly and helpful, communication was a hard, but manageable. Room was clean. We would stay here again. Location is perfect when you arrive with the bus from Taichung. Pier is just few meter away, convenience store as well. All the best to the owners. A friend of the owner is selling nice handmade tea cup. A perfect gift we brought for us. Don't miss this.

Place was clean and centrally located. Hallway and lobby were almost always unlit and/or had minimal lighting so it made the place gloomy. If you're a no frills budget traveler, this is a good place for you.

Great location and friendly staffs”
The hotel is located at the heart of Shuei She and is not difficult to identify. We arrived 1 hour before the check-in time but were given a room almost immediately. Hotel staff was friendly and patient in explaining the security features of the hotel. We were given a room at the sixth floor and had no problem bringing our luggages to our room as the elevator was located near our room. The staffs were friendly and helpful to provide useful travelling information and suggestions like the viewing of Sakura Blossoms. Breakfast was served in a nice dining area and vegetarian option was available. We will surely consider staying at this hotel if we were to visit Sun Moon Lake again.

Near to public transportation; friendly staff”
Excellent stay. The place is near to the pier where major activities take place; and the staff are really friendly. They even lend us umbrellas when it started to rain. The taiwanese porridge is excellent. I would recommend this B&B hotel for people who are coming to Sun Moon Lake.

Nice Budget Hotel by the Lake!”
Shuei She Sea B&B Hotel look small from the outlook but was really surprised by the room size. It is big & the bed is very comfortable. Although breakfast is not fantastic, it was just right for the reasonable price that we paid for 1 night.

Nice hotel, good location”
This so-called B&B is in fact a small hotel you might walk by on your first attempt since there is no English sign. The welcome is friendly, rooms (particularly the bathroom) are simple but not without taste and everything is spotless. It can easily be seen that the owners make an effort to make your stay comfortable. For a different location I might be inclined to say that their rates are a little high but for the main street of Sun Moon village they are fully reasonable. There is free but not guarded parking around 200m behind the hotel. Free Wifi is provided for. My room´s view was on the street which is not too busy in the evening if it is no weekend. Summed up, this is a very relevant alternative for this location.

we took a nantou bus from taichung to sun moon lake.the journey took us approx.1hr15mins.the hotel is just walking distance from the bus terminal.checking in was fast&after settling our luggage into the room we proceeded for boat ride.tickets were purchased at the hotel check-in counter.there are several restaurants along the street together with souvenir shops & one 7-11 shop.the staff arranged for our transport to cingjing farm the next morning.

Small but lovely hotel”
This B & B is located in a ferry pier which has quite a few choice of restaurants nearby. One can also access to other area of Sun Moon Lake by walk, there is a very good walking path leads you to everywhere. The B & B is small itself but nice and comfortable. The wifi is stronge and the staff is friendly. Price is also reasonable comparing to the resort-type hotels.

i stay 3 nights at taipei and 1 night at sm lake. this hotel located very close to shuei she pier. nice and clean with smiling from hotel's staff. breakfast here is the tasty better than hotel in taipei. i'll be back again.

Good location but no lake view”
situated very close to the shuei she pier, a 7-11 store and the sun moon lake bus stop. rooms are beautifully done for the price they charge. check-in time is 3.30 pm which we found to be very late. breakfast is nothing great to talk about. people are good like anyone we met in taiwan.

Nice room above B&B standard”
I had a pleasant stay at SSS B&B, from outside did not look impressive but we were surprised that the room was great and nicely decorated (including the bathtub!). Very clean and good facilities in the room eg. Toiletries, towel, hair dryer, flat screen TV, mini bar, hot/cold water dispenser. The breakfast was simple but good. The staffs were nice and friendly but speak little English. The signboard is in Chinese, (no English name)could easily miss the place if you don't read Chinese.

Lovely small hotel (b abd b) ”
we enjoyed our stay. the hotel was a short walk from the bus station, in a road leading down to the lake. our room had windows on to this road, but we were not disturbed at all. the room was spotless,charming and comfortable. the staff were friendly and helpful, although spoke very little english. breakfast offered a good choice. we would be happy to stay there again. there was a spa in the basement of the hotel, but we did not use it.

Great location right at main street and pier”
Car park is behind the hotel in a big common car park. Free. Breakfast is local type. Taiwanese porridge and stuff. Hotel sells boat trips, formosa aboriginsl village and ropeway tickets at discount. Get yours from the hotel for great savings! Room is clean and comfotable. No views of the lake. Except for the view, location is super, among shops, restaurants, coffee bean, 7-11, and the pier.

Nice big room, nice big bath-tub.”
Hotel is situated just a few meters from SunMoon lake, staff will help you arrange a day pass on a boat cruising the lake. A room was spacey, as was the bath-tub. The room was clean, but we saw one cockroach running in there. (Probably you cant avoid cockroaches anywhere in Taiwan?)

this ia the second time I stayed at the b&b. I booked thru another website and was able to choose the types of room. I don't remember if agoda let us choose the room, but they gave us a small room even though the day we checked in was not very full. We were placed in the attic, where we had to take the elevator to the 6th floor and carry our heavy luggages up two flights of dangerous and narrow stairs in the dark hallway which they didn't turn on lights for us. The other levels have automatic lights sensor. We asked for a different room but they said they were full, which is not true, I hardly heard or seen anybody the day we checked in. The flush system doesn't work very well, they have signs ro tell you don't flush toilet paper. So be sure you don't get a stomachache. Breakfast was ok, selection was very limited but food tasted OK. Location I will choose the other side of the harbour. Because food is very limited and expensive.

Walk about 10 min can reach Bus Station, 5 Min can take boat to sun moon sea. Staff very politic and provide nice service for customer. Breakfast include chinese food, very delicious. Room clean and comfortable.

near port”
The hotel is close to bus station, port, seven eleven, just only less than five miniute. You can not see the lake from hotel's window but just walk 1 minute you can see the port. We got discount boat ticket ( from 300 to 150 dollar taiwan) from the owner. You can go three port in one day. The hotel room is not too small not big.
