You’ll never regret spending money for the excellent view of Mountain Fuji and Fujikawaguchiko. The hotel is old though they’ve kept all facilities in good condition.

We stayed 2 nights in the Japanese room. Service is outstanding. The view of Mt.Fuji is priceless from the room. You literally wake up to the majestic view in the morning. There is onsen in the hotel. Free beer and wine available at the lobby during specific timing everyday. In room dinner was an amazing experience with tasty and good quality good. The staff assigned to our room was Mona. A very friendly and helpful young lady. Always with a smile on her face. Breakfast was also refreshing. Although with less varieties, the quality of food is good. The hotel provide shuttle bus to Kawaguchi Station in the morning. Just make sure you inform the counter staff you want to take the ride since seats are limited. The hotel has a strategic unblock view of Mt. Fuji. You can walk down to the lake side just infront of the hotel and take all the photos to your heart content. While it is indeed expensive to stay in this hotel, the experience and memories it gives in return is priceless.

Stayed here for 3 nights, and it is by far the most enjoyable stay of my 2 weeks in Japan. The view of Mount Fuji was perfect from every room and every area of the hotel (best views from the onsen!) The upkeep of the hotel surroundings provided so many photo opportunities. We were here during the cherry blossom season, and it was so beautiful. A stone throw to a whole lakeside of cherry blossom trees. Food for breakfast and dinner was simply amazing and full of variety. Lady Mori who served us during our stay here was like a friend, and we were tearful to leave. Will definitely choose to stay here again.

Take me back! I wish I never had to leave. Not only is the view to die for but the staff are amazing and the hotel impeccable. We opted to do dinner and breakfast and we lucky enough to be picked to enjoy our gourmet dinner in a private dining room. Others we spoke to said having the experience in your own room is just as magical. The hotel offers a pick up shuttle to and from the train/bus stop. Plenty of options at the buffet breakfast ranging from simple to adventurous.

The Best hotel viewing Mt. Fuji”

This is the second time for me to visit this hotel. This is the most difficult to book hotel in this area. I love this hotel as it is the hotel to view the Mt. Fuji from the guest room and onsen room. This time the Dinner (kaikseki) was better than last time. One of the strong point is Breakfast buffet. It is many choice and has the chef to serve freshly. I will definitely come back again

Advantage of having limit rooms, which keeps the notice down. Price wise is very fair for what is has to offer. Onsen, outdoors, Mount Fuji right in front, just soak into it. Best to get there when late Autumn to early Spring I think. Spend 2 nights will be best.

Excellent location for traveller want to visit Fuji Mt. area. Hotel is located next to the lake overlooking towards Fuji Mt. and if you want to enjoy the best view you wouldn't be disappointed. From the room, from the F&B outlet you can see the whole Fuji Mt. at anytime (subject to weather condition). The in-room private dinner and buffet breakfast is in preimum quality. Highly recommened.

Excellent”

Good hospitality of staff to guests from check-in to serving dinner at home. There was special summer magic show and bingo from July to August every night. The clown performed professionally. All the guests enjoyed the show very much. Every room in the hotel had a scenic view of Mount Fuji. Shuttle bus was available but in limited shedule. Yet, there was a bus stop just in front of the hotel. Highly recommended anyway.

Fuji & lake view from your room and at the back of the hotel. Great hotel service (pick-up and during the day) clean room with en suite bath, good private room for dinner (if you got half board), wide range selections for breakfast, free beer in evening, shops inside.

High price but worth to stay and spoil your self here. Good location with lake and fuji view from room. Dinner was variety and taste good on every dish . Breakfast was great. Staff service is outstanding.

Disappoint with staff, too expensive compared with bad service mind!”

Pro:- This hotel provided the clean room with balcony and panoramic stunning view. The parking is available onsite. Music Forest is less than 5 minutes to drive to. We selected a room with a foot bath then we could relax our feet at anytime. Breakfast and Japanese dinner are excellent. The Onsen is spacious and well equipped. We did the special request on food, the hotel can well prepare. Sleeping on the Futon is impressed experience. Cons: We feel very disappointed with our Room Attendant; she's not friendly. She's lack of smile and looks uncomfortable. It's under the service standard as normally we have received the courtesy services from the Japanese. We have ever stayed at Ryokan in Yufuin, and been very impressed with the warm take good care there. Considered with the room rate and hotel reputation, we have expected to receive a kind of the professional service and friendliness with the room assistant at least the standard but not below. This is such disappoint and big deal!

All staffs are very humble. Every room in hotel can see the Fuji Mt. Dinner is superb! It's very delicious, esp. shabu. The room is very big. It's a toilet separate from shower room. Futon is very soft and comfort, then you can fully relax.

From this hotel you may have the best view of Fuji Mt. Also the dinner is superb. The price is a little bit expensive, but definitely worth it.

This hotel has the best location around the area to see the beautiful Fujisan view. Everything was perfect from service, room, kaiseki dinner, onsen, etc. We satyed in room with foot onsen at the balcony. Was sooooo great!! We'll come again.

We are fortunate to have clear blue skies for the 2 days were there. So had the opportunity to take many beautiful pics of mount Fuji. The kaiseki was great. However felt the staff was a big aloof though. They just delivered our food and walked off. As there were many plates of diff foods served at diff times, we did not know if it would be impolite to just leave after we finished. It would have been better if a staff could let us know that this is the last dish and we could stay as long as we want after that or leave whenever we want to... But understandably this is a tradinational ryokan and most staff would be Japanese speaking. I love love love the breakfast cafe away. Long huge glass panelled that you can view mount Fuji which having breakfast. After breakfast a small door from the breakfast area allowed us to walk out directly to the lake to take more beautiful pics. Lake kawaguchiko is very serene and beautiful. The area is huge with some beautiful spots that you can explore.

Great ryokan! Fantastic hotel crew. Onsen opens almost throughout the day with free flow of beer. The bus stops right in front of the hotel. The view of the lake and mountain from the room was breathtaking.

This hotel located a side of Kawaguchiko Lake with a full view of Mt.Fuji. There is Outdoor Onsen service. We chose Ryokan-style room for one night. Recommended to book with full board booking (including dinner and breakfast).
