Perfect hotel except SHOCKING location”

The stay in the hotel was almost perfect with zero mishaps. The entire 3 night stay there were only 2 issues. One issue was that the hotel seemed to also be accommodating a group of female locals (I think it was some form of conference) which meant that the dining hall was unable to be used for the first night's dinner and breakfast the following day which was very disappointing, however the staff did offer to bring food up to our room which was lovely. The only other fault is the location of the hotel itself. It is disastrous! It is in the very eastern region of Mandalay and is not near anything so we had to taxi to the city centre a few times for inflated prices which was very annoying. Apart from these two issues the hotel was fantastic, the staff were incredibly friendly, the room was amazing and the free breakfast had a wide variety buffet with a plethora of choices!

Perfect, clean hotel outside of the tourist center”

We came here after staying one night in a crap hotel in the tourist center. The hotel was brand new. We were trying to get some work done, and saw that the hotel had wifi (which was some of the most reliable yet in Myanmar). The hotel was great. Beautiful clean rooms. Great staff. Good food. Outside of the tourist craziness. We rented bicycles to sight see around Mandalay. Overall, a fantastic place. Two thumbs up

Good stay”

The hotel was really good, staff very attentive. We stayed for 2 nights. Everything was very good. Hotel is on the outskirts of the city, but the Mandalay population more than 1 000 000 people and is impossible to see sightseeings by foot. We took taxi fo all days. It cost 35usd/day with and hadn't any problem. Really good, new, cheap hotel.

Far from city center-nothing around you”

Hotel is located far from center of Mandalay There is no regular tranportation and only taxi is availble The taxi, price is expensive to foreigners The area is underway of becoming a new town If you want to gor some conviniences you have to call a taxi Not a pleasant place to see around because it is located in the middle of developing place

Comfortable but far from the city”

Stay was great, but distance from city centre and attractions meant that we had to cab everywhere. Good part is that it is cheap enough to cover our cab fare, as compared to getting a room in central Mandalay.

Everything is bland new and excellent service”

The hotel is new. Soft, clean towels. Spacious room and comfortable beds. Delicious food at reasonable price. We had dinner twice in the restaurant. We were served like kings and queens. The general manager, Tun Tun Win speaks good English and is very helpful. The staff is very friendly and polite. Strongly recommend this hotel.

Great hotel but outside citycentre”

Actually the hotel would be perfect if it isn't for its inconvenient location. You definitely need to rent a bicycle or a motorbike in order to go to the city and back.

Good for business trip - forget it for holidays”

The hotel is perfect for a business trip but it not meet holidays standard - decoration isn't warm. Another important point, the hotel is situated very far from the city and all places to visit. There is nothing to do around the hotel. Staff is very nice, helpful and friendly.

Nice hotel, bad location”

Located miles away from the city, can only reach centre with a 6 dollar taxi ride which is very inconvenient. Hotel itself is very pleasant with spacious, clean, well equipped rooms.

Really impressed”

Was a really great stay. My only complaint would be that there was a cigarette smoke smell in our room.

such a hidden hotel”

very pricey for this hotel, but it's kinda normal in Myanmar. staffs were helpful but so hard to communicate since their english is limited. they found my booking but they did not find my colleague's booking....interest!

Heavy smelled of bleach in the room. Wi-Fi in hotel did not work, and staff told me it is 'usual'. Hotel is is far from main road, passenger need to check the availability of city taxi at least 50 min before.
