This report could be simply expressed with the words “ stay here”. I have been a guest at the Siam Bayshore Pattaya hotel 4-5 times this year already. I use the term ”been a guest” because this hotel goes out of its way to make you feel "a guest". This is simply the best hotel I stay in , in Asia. My work takes me to pretty much all corners of the globe and as a result I stay allot of nights in hotels of various quality and service levels. The Siam Bayshore Pattaya really does try and make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as they can. The staff are brilliant, always smiling, helpful and very very happy to help with anything. This of course reflects on the management at this hotel as you don’t get exemplary service in the hotel business if you don’t have outstanding hotel management. Siam Bayshore Pattaya could best be described as close to everything but far from the madness… it’s close to all the restaurants and bars on Walking street but its far enough away that at night sitting by the pool it’s just you and the occasional chirp of geckos and crickets. The pool area is very relaxing and nice for adults with fun theme slide for young ones. They have a great poolside drink and food menu as well.. Rooms are very clean and well appointed with lots of room…. get a pool side room…its worth it. Its little details I like and things like a little well lit magnifying mirror to shave by next to the basin, things like internet which is blazingly quick, things like afternoon cookies which they drop off… So many hotels tell you they offer great service but rarely do they deliver. The Siam Bayshore Pattaya just does it constantly.. every time. In writing this I’m trying to offer the reader a balanced view and also mention some things that the hotel could do better or improve on… but I’m scratching my head to think of any with this hotel….. If your coming to Pattaya then the Siam Bayshore Pattaya is the place to stay whether you’re here on business or vacation .
I go regularly to Pattaya for business and will stay nowhere else but the Siam Bayshore Resort. Ive been there about 6 times this year and due to go again in two weeks. Why do I keep on going back ? This hotel is perfectly located, at quiet end of Walking street where you are either 5 minutes from all the action or if you like far enough away to have a quiet evening at their seaside restaurant. Rooms are nicely furnished and very comfortable with walk in showers ( so many hotels have bathtub type shower) Staff are excellent and very attentive... I had mentioned that the treadbelt on their running machine in gym was slipping... next day fixed.. no lack of attention to detail here. Poolside area is great and food and drinks are excellent and well priced.. try the non alcoholic " banana gold" drink in the morning.. On checking out, I left my mobile phone in the room... they had checked the room and had my mobile back in my hand before I had been 5 minutes at reception. I can best summarize it that this hotel treats you like a guest rather than just a customer. I just wish all the other hotels I stay at in Asia would do it as well as Siam Bayshore Resort. I whole heartedly and without any self interest endorse this hotel. Great for families and business travellers alike.
Siam Bayshore Resort”
Our stay at the Bayshore was faultless from the moment we arrived. The reception is cool and inviting , we were welcomed with a drink and a snack whilst the staff confirmed our booking arrangements. Soon we were whisked off to our room in the new wing overlooking the pool - we had the wrong room configuration, but the staff quickly corrected that and soon we were settled in a king-sized bedroom overlooking the pool on the second floor - just fantastic. That part of Pattaya beach is no great shakes, but the two swimming pools more than make up. Walking street is a buzz of activity at night - decorative lights, music from the bars and plenty of action. Maps are deceptive and the Bayshore Resort is quite adequately situated - close enough to the action, but far enough away to ensure peace and quiet when wanted. Hotel catering was superb - breakfast is lovely and the chefs were consistantly good with making omelettes for breakfast, the selection of fruits, cereals and other cooked foods is great and caters for both European and Asian pallets. We found the staff to be gracious, hospitable and politely accomodating - nothing was too much trouble or effort. In conclusion - the stay was not long enough and we will be back. Siam Bayshore Resort - well done and keep up the great standards of hospitality!
So your a business traveller, travelling extensively across Asia and elsewhere.. your life onsistse of tapping out emails on planes and uploading when you get to the hotel at your destination however hard as you try , you can never seem to keep up. Well do what I do... book yourself into The Siam Bayshore pool side deluxe rooms and spend 2-3 days there both unwindidng and catching up. Rooms are very comfortable, internet is blindingly fast and pool side food both western and Thai just the ticket. I use this hotel on a regular basis to simply unwind and catch up . I get more work done during a 3 day stay here than I would anywhere else plus with added advantage that the swimming pool is just metres away. Great location just at quiet end of Walking street with great staff and a very reasonable rate. If you really want a strees relief wander around to the go-cart track which is close to hotel (but out of earshot) and take out a cart for an hour or so... the carts are not speed governed like they are in US/ Australia and you'll come off the track grinning like a liitle boy. Pattaya is only 1 hour from BKK international airport and The Siam Bayshore Resort is far eneough from the clamour of Walking Street to be peaceful but close enough that if you do wantsome nightlife its an easy 10 minute walk. Just the ticket for the busy business traveller..so much better than staying in BKK for the weekend.
Relaxation, peaceful and cosy”
This is my first time staying at Siam Bayshore resort hotel. When arrived at the hotel, we were welcome warmly by the hotel staff. The room check in was fast and the room was spacious and beautifully designed. The bath room was cosy and the bed was comfortable. We have a beautiful garden view from the balcony. We could hear birds chirping in the morning and also could see squires moving up and down the trees. It gives us a feeling that we are very close to nature. The swimming pool was nice and clean. The breakfast spread was good. The Hotel is just next to walking street and it only takes about 10 min rides by local taxis to central festival shopping centre where you can do your shopping, dining or catch a movie. We were very impressed with the excellent services provided by this hotel. I’m looking forward to stay at this hotel again my next visit and will not hesitate to recommend Siam Bayshore resort to friends if they visit Pattaya.
Always a pleasure!”
We stayed at Siam Bayshore for the second time this year and it was a very positive experience! Both times we felt like the staff went above and before their duties to make our stay comfortable. The staff know and recognize you, and are willing to assist with any reasonable request. The location (near Walking Street) means that you're basically in the most exciting part of the town, close to a battery of outside street-side shops (that are expensive, yes, but they're there). Compared to similarly priced hotels, Siam Bayshore offers so much more with its several restaurants, great breakfast, a huge compound with abundant greenery and an all-around very positive experience. We've stayed in a few other hotels in the area, and have always left this hotel saying, "The next time we're in Pattaya, there's no question we're coming back here". Pattaya is a comparatively more expensive area (than Bangkok), but at this hotel we felt it was worth every bhat. Siam Bayshore was a great experience, and I know this is where I'll be staying when and if I return to Pattaya.
Siam Bayshore is a well run hotel in prime position at the end of Walking Street. Close to the nightlife but far enough away to avoid the noise it is Pattaya's best hotel. Ive stayed there 6-7 times this year so far and due to go back in two weeks. The pool area is great and the poolside food menu just fantastic.. try the Pad Thai noodles for breakfast with a banana gold shake. Great staff always ready with a smile but its the little things... last trip I forgot to put out my laundry one morning and finally put it out at 1pm expecting it to get in next days cycle and be back in the day after evening.. well guess what it was back with me at 6pm that day with no surcharge... Need an iron and ironing board.. just pick up the phone.. but different from most hotels where its someone who doesnt speak english that answers or where you have to call 3-4 times, the required items are at your room in minutes. Little things like free bottled water... Yep this place has my vote as one of the best hotels in Asia and certainly Pattaya... As a general comment it amazes me the number of people I meet who have paid pay approximately same amount and have got a basic bad room at a not so good hotel .. do youself a favour very little more and you will spend to stat at Siam Bayshore is well worth the money. Just for the record I have business interests in Thailand that require me to go there once every month or so so I stay in Pattaya allot.. I have no affiliation or business interests with Siam Bayshore other than appreciation for the way they treat you as a guest.
Lovely resort in a good location”
Loved our stay at Siam Bayshore Resort. I hated walking street. There's a lot of people but not a lot to actually see or do up there. There's a few eateries, bars and go go bars but not much shopping or entertainment. However, Siam Bayshore being located on the doorstep of Walking Street proved to be quite handy for a quick kebab late at night or a foot massage! Siam Bayshore is located one street across from the beach. We'd just come from Koh Phangan so the Pattaya Beach was pretty uneventful compared to Koh Phangan's but it was nice staying so close to the beach none the less. The room was very comfortable and clean. The housekeepers were lovely and thoughtful. The price was reasonable and the staff at the check in counter were incredibly helpful organising day trips and tours for us. You can't pay for those by credit card so take lots of cash.
Great value for your money”
4-star hotel that is actually a bona fide 5-star hotel. The hotel has the best location in Pattaya. While you can access the walking street area from here within seconds and while the hotel is within several meters from the main nightlife area of Pattaya. it is conveniently removed and is secluded from all the hustle and the bustles of the nightlife. Again, the hotel has the best possible location in Pattaya. The hotel itself consists of beautiful complex of interconnected low rise buildings and Thai style beautiful and tranquil gardens. It is a pure pleasure to walk around the hotel area and enjoy the water canals and little ponds that are inside the hotel’s many picturesque gardens. The interior of the hotel and the rooms are very spacious, illuminated, clean and very comfortable. Luxury and comfort is in abundance at Siam Bayshore. The staff are very hospitable and friendly. The hotel’s restraints are magnificent and overall Siam Bayshore has been most pleasant experience for me. The hotel can easily rival many Western European 5-star hotels. From now on I will only stay at this hotel when I come back to Pattaya.
Excellent hotel with corteous personnel”
It was my first visit to Pattaya and I chose Siam Bayshore Resort and Spa based its location and reviews on Agoda Web Page. I was pleased of finding a good and clean hotel, surrounded by nature and good swimming pools. At reception you can hear some noise from the street but no noise in my room. I had pleasant sleep with no interruptions. All hotel personnel (reception, restaurant and cleaning). Other hotel guests where decent and respectful of other guests when it comes to making noise. I'll return to Pattaya in the future and I will definitely book again at Siam Bayshore Resort & Spa.
Booking through Agoda there is a problem. If you mark down 2 people to a room for two rooms then the booking shows up as 2 people in total. Very confusing for staff at Siam Bayshore Resort. However, the Manager on duty was excellent and went out of his way to ensure the problem was solved. I can only find one fault with this resort and that is the creek that runs through the centre of the resort. (a smelly water outlet from flood plains behind city). Saying this the service, quality of rooms and excellent staff made our stay fantastic. We did the THAI Cooking class presented by the Head Chef, cost was 990 Baht. He took us to pick herbs and prepare 8 dishes, the course takes approx 3 hours and we ate our meals knowing the preparation involved. If you would like a great afternoon to learn to prepare food it is well worth the cost. Siam Bayshore Resort is a Gem at the top of walking street and it would suit all travellers and families who want to relax poolside and be pampered.
Excellent hotel with friendly staff and great BF”
Although Pattaya city appeared to be way too touristical for us, we were happy to have chosen Siam Bayshore hotel. Being in a central location you can easily go out whenever you want to wherever you want. Siam Bayshore offers spacious rooms in a beautiful tropical surrounding with a beautifully designed swimming pool (one extra at the sea side just across walking street you can escape to if the other one gets too crowded) Staff is super friendly and helpful, breakfast buffet has wide array of dishes and eggs "a la minute". We would never go back to Pattaya but if you really want to go there Siam Bayshore is the place to book!
Siam Bayshore Resort & Spa”
From the moment I arrived I was made to feel welcomed by the Front Desk staff. From that moment forward all staff members showed the helpfulness and friendliness that people of Thailand are renowned for. My bedroom, and especially the bathroom, exceeded my expectations. While there was little view from the balcony it did ensure that a peaceful night was enjoyed. The location being at the top of Walking Street meant that this exciting venue did not even require a taxi ride. I would recommend the Siam Bayshore Resort & Spa to both the single and family traveller. I look forward to my next visit to Pattaya and staying at the Bayshore.
Absolutely exceptional service”
It's not often I experience such exceptional levels of service AND extremely warm-hearted, friendly and sincere hospitality from anyone whom I've stayed with but the Siam Bayshore Resort Pattaya managed it from the concierge, front desk staff downwards. I really, really enjoyed my stay, all the more so for the wonderful, wonderful service I received. I could not fault a single aspect of the resort, other than the smell coming at times from the uncovered drainage ditch separating the Garden Wing & pool from the main building, but they are working on covering this up. Otherwise, I had no problems at all. Your breakfast buffet was awesome!! Thank you very much for everything. Rest assured I will be back. Verdict: 9.9/10 - lost points only for the drainage ditch. Otherwise I recommend this resort in a heartbeat.
Getting worse but still great!”
Siam Bayshore have been my only choice to stay in Pattaya since they're in business. The rooms and staffs are always GREAT but the quality of the breakfast buffet wasn't as good as before.Room service took a bit longer time then they promised, but the quality is outstanding. The only thing i'm not satisified with is the guards - they just let everyone in without asking for any prove of staying in the hotel, the hotel is right at the end of the walking street(the "main street of nightlife" in Pattaya),at night there're always drunk people with their "Pattaya romance" fooling around INSIDE the hotel garden or pool area, asking anyone who passed by for the location of the reception desk trying to get a room.
A Very Enjoyable Stay at Siam Bayshore”
I booked a 1 bed suite at Siam Bayshore with a sea view. It is next to the end of Walking Street, so some noise expected, but close to night life and restaurants and the balcony view over looking the Bali Hai restaurant was good for us. The Breakfast food variety was excellent and Hotel service was good, even though it was busy every morning and food was quickly refilled when emptied. The grounds of Siam Bayshore are large and well maintained, good for jogging to the gym, which isn't in the main building, but not a problem for me. Equipment a bit dated, but OK for a quick work out. Only issue was the storm drain running through the rgounds, but its well hidden by the foliage. I made a request at the Siam Elephant restaurant in the Hotel (excellent Thai food) to provide a Birthday cake for my girlfriend, which was gladly accommodated and accompanied by a Happy Birthday song from the restaurant staff. Overall a great stay for us at the Siam Bayshore Hotel.
Siam Bayshore Resort & Spa Pattaya has a door that leads directly to the walking street and night life. Disco to the left, walking street to the right. Shopping, bars, restaurants and more "girl bars" Very close walk to shopping malls and movie theatres also very close to the beach. Hotel has open gardens and pool area good for families, or couples or singles. I was very pleased at what I got for the price I paid.
TRIP TO PATTAYA”
I've lived in Thailand for the last 12 years and have been a frequent visitor to Pattaya throughout that time. I've stayed at many of the hotels there but I can say that Siam Bayshore has become my favorite hotel there over the past 2 years. Since the hotel was renovated it has a very pleasant and clean atmosphere. I've found the hotel staff to be uniformly courteous and helpful. I normally stay in the Tropical Deluxe room and find them to be very nice, comfortable, nice view and airy. I've also stayed in the suite's and enjoyed them as well. Parking is never a problem. I've never had a problem with lack of space or cramped parking where I had to be concern with getting my car doors dinged due to close quarters. The breakfast buffet is good, a little heavy on western style food - but I have no major complaints on that account. Siam Bayshore is always my first choice for staying in Pattaya.
Beautiful resort with excellent services”
We choose the resort because of the location to walking street. The resort has all of the western charm and amenities. The rooms was big, clean and smartly decorated of a Polynesian style resort. The service staff were excellent, catering to our needs and going the extra miles to help with our questions and requests. I will definately recommend the Siam Bayshore Resort and Spa and will most likely stay there the next time I'm in Pattaya.
Refreshing and Relaxing”
This was our 10th visit to Siam Bayshore. Delighted to see some of the staff we met on our very first trip still working at the resort. Rooms are spacious and very clean, we normally request a room ground floor facing pool. Excellent gardens all round. Staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. Nothing being too much trouble. The resort is situated at the end of Walking Street with its own beach area as an added attraction. Close to shopping areas and restaurants yet quite and relaxing during the evenings. Breakfast is excellent and the catering staff is managed by Wassana who has been at the resort for 35 years. All the staff were great however Knot was especially helpful at breakfast ensuring our baby daughter had her favourite breakfast served every day as we arrived at the dinning room. Definitely our choice for our next year pre Easter break.
