Lovely hotel still but they looked overwhelmed with the number of people staying. ”
We have stayed here many times over the years and always enjoy our stay, the breakfast is still by far the best for choice. We stayed during the coronation of the King weekend and were annoyed after it took us over 4 hours to drive from Bangkok that our room was not ready to check in at 3pm and being offered a room with two beds when we asked for a king size bed as our 2 year old son sleeps between us. We went for some food and our room was ready shortly afterwards. The pool staff are lovely- particularly Tor who was great with our son and great service as always round the pool. Breakfast was packed the following mornings and we were taken into the siam elephant restaurant to eat on a table with a filthy dirty table cloth and no where near the buffet, because we refused to sit their we were told we would have to wait 30mins, it was only 5 mins. The breakfast staff seemed very overwhelmed. Checkout was long. Not sure why they changed the old bridge over the sewage port, its terrible.
Convenient location but noisy at night”
Nice pool. Enjoyed a lot our time there. Location is a double edge sword tho, it’s convenient, right on the end of the walking street (red light district) and the pier to Coral Island. Super noisy at night, you can hear the pounding from the clubs. You will need your ear plugs if you’re light sleeper. Staff not really helpful though, we wanted to borrow a knife to cut mangoes, they wouldn’t accommodate. Also was not helpful at all when asked about where to go or what facilities we can use at the resort.
Nice room but hotel smells like sewage ”
Room was very nice. However there literally a river of sewage running in the middle of fhe hotel right next to the pool. I had to cross a bridge over it to get to my room. Would cause me to gag and heave.
A real nice hotel with some grandeur. A pitty Pattaya s development has reached this area, but nevertheless we enjoyed staying here. It is very spacious with a big garden. Both swimingpools are great; we preferred the smaller one next to the beach. Its location at the end of walkingstreet was a plus for us, as you nood need a taxi to bring you to the lively places. To us it was fun to walk up and down walkingstreet and look at all the entertainment, but sleeping outside of it. We certainly would love to come back, if it was for breakfast only, as that was as one can expect from a better 5 star hotel. Thumbs up
Specious room, good breakfast but the rooms are far. ”
Overall quite good.
Refreshing and Relaxing”
This was our 10th visit to Siam Bayshore. Delighted to see some of the staff we met on our very first trip still working at the resort. Rooms are spacious and very clean, we normally request a room ground floor facing pool. Excellent gardens all round. Staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. Nothing being too much trouble. The resort is situated at the end of Walking Street with its own beach area as an added attraction. Close to shopping areas and restaurants yet quite and relaxing during the evenings. Breakfast is excellent and the catering staff is managed by Wassana who has been at the resort for 35 years. All the staff were great however Knot was especially helpful at breakfast ensuring our baby daughter had her favourite breakfast served every day as we arrived at the dinning room. Definitely our choice for our next year pre Easter break.

Great stay and amenities ”
Normally I don’t stay in these type hotels because I just don’t hang out in the hotel long enough to use all the great amenities but, I got a great price on the room. If you have time to use the amenities this hotel is for you!
great place to stay not far off walking street”
stayed 2 days here, great facility. I had an ocean facing room, fantastic. breakfast was included in the rate and was very good. Staff are super friendly and can help to arrange transport back to Bangkok or for any tourism you need in the area. Super clean and comfortable.
Nice, cozy, kind”
- All the staff are very kind. Whenever I ask something, they let me know with gentle attitude. - My friend and I booked for each room and wanted to get the connected room. They provided us with the connected room while they have to find the rooms in other building. It was the beginning of our travel so that we were satisfied even more. - The location is near the walking street, so it is easy to access downtown on foot. To get to the main gate, they serve with the free buggy car as well. - In the swimming pool, ordered food was delayed but it was endurable because we were taking a rest. - Every staff was all kind with smile on their faces, which made us really relaxed. - There is a dirty smelly stream through the hotel, which could be the only defect.
The resort, though a bit old, offered a traditional feel that is absent in the modern facilities that are found in the more modern developments. The grounds were beautiful with mature trees and lots of foliage, and the ammenties were sufficient for a resort area. The staff were happy and friendly and top-notch. Overall, we will be back!
NICE location to stay but make sure that you get the same Room which you book”
This hotel is very near to walking street but the hotel people will cheat you as they request you to adjust some time in one room and will say they will gave the new room but they never do the same so be sure the what u book you get . I had book room with balcony and king bed they had given us normal room with twin bed even no balcony .
Amazing hotel in Pattaya!”
This was the 3rd time I went there! I love this place! This is for me the best gateway from Bangkok!
A classy place on the doorstep of debauchery”
Me and two friends friends from grammar school stayed here for a blowout weekend. We loved it and highly recommend it. Breakfast buffet was a particular high point. Extraordinary.
Tropical resort smelly sewage”
Good location. Had every thing a 5* should have. My complaint is the residential complex is across a smelly canal separate to the lobby\resturant\bar areas. The smell on some days is quite dreadful ,not what you need to be smelling as you cross for breakfast. Please feed the fish. 20 bht.they seemed hungry.
Tremendous location at the end of Walking Street and a very short walk to the pier for all types of recreational boating -- including ferries to the islands. Breakfast buffet was tremendous and an excellent value.
Nice beautiful in the chaotic pattaya”
Beautiful hotel in the caothic pattaya, very quiet and nice hotel. Beautiful rooms, and good service. Should definitly go there, the prices for food and drinks in the hotel is a but expencive, but you can always go out from the hotel and get the better prices for the food and drinks.
City sewer construction inside hotel”
As always, I was quite happy with the hotel staff and the property itself, but it was marred by construction going on through the middle of the hotel. When I was there last, in 2014, the city was making repairs/upgrades to the sewer system which runs right through the middle of the property. They still are, and apparently will be for a few more years. It is somewhat interesting to watch as the construction is going on, but the smell is awful... it is raw sewage being stirred up by equipment digging and driving through it. Unfortunately, you have to walk across the sewage canal to get from the lobby and restaurant areas to the main hotel. Its location right at the top of Walking Street makes for a great location, but Walking Street has, itself, changed considerably in the 3 years that I was gone. I will stay here again and recommend the hotel to anyone with the caveat that the construction may put them off a bit.
Very plush hotel”
Pros- nice tennis courts, pool table, close to everything including walking street, overlooks the beach, amazing large pool, with kids slide, breakfast was good but expect the same everyday. Rooms had a balcony, with big bed and safe box. English football shown as standard in the rooms albeit channel was not that clear Cons- room had webs and mold growing in the corner. Needs a little updating. TV channels werent very clear at all. Big resort so often a long walk to your room if you are on the other side. They had works going at the time we went so plenty of noise during the day when trying to sleep. I would definitely come back, by far one of the best hotels in pattaya.
