I recently stayed at this hotel on Lonely Beach and overall had a mixed, but ultimately positive experience. On arrival, the staff were absolutely wonderful — welcoming, friendly and attentive, which made a great first impression. However, when I got to my room, I was a little disappointed. The cleanliness wasn’t up to standard, and the bed was very hard and uncomfortable. I mentioned these issues to staff and even showed photos, but despite asking over the course of three days, nothing was done. My room was made up daily, but the concerns I’d pointed out remained unresolved, which was frustrating. By the third day, I raised the issue again as I genuinely wasn’t happy. At that point, I was offered an upgrade, and I’m so glad I accepted it. The new room was absolutely lovely — much cleaner, better maintained, with a softer bed and even my own private pool. It completely changed my experience for the better. The location on Lonely Beach was perfect — quiet and peaceful, even though the hotel was fully booked. Despite the rocky start, I would definitely stay here again — but I would book the upgraded room from the beginning.
