Away from the crowds and noises of the city, this small hotel is for explorers and peace seekers. Located near the domestic airport, the hotel is set in the suburbs of the city. With Don Mueang Airport roughly 11 km away, trips to the old capital of Ayutthaya and numerous other worthy destinations are within convenient reach. The nearby Ladprao MRT subway station is close to the hotel, making it easy to get into the city without having to spend on taxis. Small in size but high on comfort and amenities, Siam Society Hotel is the choice for your next stay to Thailand.

Quiet and Far from City”
The hotel is 40 mins (or even longer during traffic jams) away from Don Mueang International Airport, thus its kinda hard to get there as not all taxi go there. It is a vintage but standard western hotel with room service, meal menu, bell boy service and taxi service. Pictures are for illustration purposes only, actual room may differ from the pictures. Room is very big but toilet is a bit too small. The place to have a good rest but not recommended if you are looking for a lively place.
Friendly Staff and Good Size Room”
Definitely 2 Thumbs-Up for the friendly service provided by the staff and management team. Would go the extra to assist and help all guests concerns without any qualms. Really satisfied with their special arrangement that I have requested especially the Manager. All in all the pleasant stay makes up for the lack of location.
Amazing bath tub with jacuzzi ”
Wonderful stay at this hotel and very value for money. Think it's underrated as it should be a 5 stars. Jacuzzi was perfect and the bed is comfortable and springy. Booked a executive room for only 40usd a nite.
Siam Society Hotel”
We arrived late in the evening. Great staff to help us get settled. Rooms were absolutely amazing. Had a sitting room to relax that was separate from the room itself. Didn't realize the hotel is all one level. The rooms go in a square around the pool. Covered parking for vehicle if needed. The room was very clean and the jacuzzi was an added bonus. Very nice!
Peace In Paradise”
My guests and I really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The staff was most friendly and helpful, and we had wonderful massages right there at the hotel. The pool area was very nice and the entire hotel was very neat and clean. The only problem was finding the hotel; and thus it would be wise to carry a location map and the phone number, which was quite difficult to find in the on-line sites. I would not hesitate to return to the hotel. Peace and smiles from Thailand.
Overall good to stay”
this hotel is cheap, but got what the most of hotel have. Reception staff (lady work day shift, i forget to ask her name) able to speak english and very helpful. Attendance are very helpful too, they will help to open lobby entrance door whenever entering. the way to my room 216 was cool, feels like i owned a Terrace house and there is carpark right outside my room. At night look quite scary because outside is totally dark with a few light bulb was on. (can imagine from the 'Incidious' movie). One main thing i like about this hotel is, the electricity is bypass. Everytime when come back from outside, the room is well maintain as cold to relax. here are the bad things Wifi not working well, TV is old big square version, very blur and not clear. hotel business card is useless. because Taxi driver cant read English, having difficulty to come back hotel. if this few points able to follow up, i think this hotel can be rate as 5 stars.
Really bad impression”
I would like to provide some feedback about this hotel. Unfortunately, my friend and I had to check out immediately after checking into our room. The first room we went into, had a bad smell and cockroach was found in the cupboard. The staff was unable to catch the cockroach and allowed us to change to another room. However, this incident was enough to scare us into making another booking at the hotel next door and doing an immediate checkout. Apparently, this was a love motel (booked on per hour basis) as told to us by the driver who sent us there. Very bad vibe received.
not what you think”
lobby looks great and place looks terrific on paper. but really is more like a mid + motel room no hot water bath big but thats it the bed was about as comfortable as the floor didn't even bother using the set breakfast coupons choice to the best room service food was fast and ok but took them for ever to take away the plates and the staff just looked like they didn't even want to be there no hi's or smiles from them.
Party animal in transit”
I just had 12 hours in Bangkok. I wanted to check out Club Massiv which is only about 20 minutes from Don Muang Airport. So, I looked for a hotel near the club. I saw several, but I chose Siam Society. It was a good, good night. Cheers
Nice local stay”
Great hotel for the money. Beds were very hard for those used to western style beds. But this is a local Thai hotel so what do you expect. The only real problem was getting taxi drivers to bring us back after being out and about. No one knew where the hotel was and their pamphlet for the hotel had really non-specific directions.
Not exactly a hotel / resort”
This is not really a hotel. Looking at the location it is more of a hourly hotel, if you know what I mean. Notorious famous karaoke bars and "night clubs" are right next door. This place is not suitable for children.
not too bad for the price”
The hotel is pretty far from any public transport. On the map it looks quite close to Lad Prao MRT but in reality its a 30 min drive. It took only 20 min to Don Muang airport but I took the trip at 4 am so there was hardly any traffic. The pool is very small and the rooms were full of mosquitoes. The room was quite spacious and clean, the bed was fine but the wireless internet hardly worked inside. Overall I would recommend going somewhere else unless you need to be in the area.
Very secluded area ”
The hotel is so isolated that non of the taxi drivers nor the tut-tut drivers know of it. We were helped by friendly locals that found out the location through phone and relaying them to the drives. Thank god. Not only that, the hotel is at rural area so we have to spend like half to one hour to every destination. The hotel itself is ok. The washroom is a little scary with the stained tiles, and the water doesn't flow away properly so you have a mini flood as you shower.
Nice for seclusion, not nice for tourism”
We had business meetings in the area so stayed here because it was close to where we needed to be. It is not close to many major tourist locations, so if you plan to be out and about figure on spending time in a taxi or train or both. The price was average for hotels in Bangkok, but these rooms are perhaps a bit more deluxe than the average hotel. All rooms include a jacuzzi bathtub, and some of them also include private pools, etc. You could never find rooms like these for half the price in the US. For Thai residents the price drops drastically, but that is pretty standard in Thailand. Our room was very quiet. We had a room that was not in the main building, so there was absolutely no noise. It was also very dark, which was nice for sleeping in or afternoon napping, but not so nice for doing makeup. Breakfast wasn't spectacular, but it was pretty standard for "American breakfast" in Thailand. Eggs, toast, sausages, fruit, salad, and random Thai dishes. I read many people complaining about the runny eggs, but the staff offered to cook mine longer and took care of that issue. Also, breakfast was from 7-10.30, so we didn't have to be up early to eat. If you are looking for a place to hole up and stay a couple days to be alone, this is a great place. If you want a hotel in the heart of the Bangkok action, I would say to look elsewhere.
Unique unto itself.”
The Siam society is special in the way it is designed with private entrances and car ports, and also large in-suite jacuzzis, in a series of very , very uniquely different rooms surrounding the swimming pool. Fronted by the reception lounge that leads to the restaurant - with an alfresco section - is well renovated. The charming hostess/proprietor and receptionists speak English. The privacy offered by the location is offset by the difficulty for taxi drivers new to the area, but a call back, allowing to cabbie to get directions from reception always does the trick.
Great Location and very big room”
not recommend to those who scare of spirit. room too big and design too wild and old. we booked 4 room and 3 of them was feel good. just feel somethngs in the room. all room full of mosquito (30 in a room), if without a can of beygon you will have mosquito party. best part is the smell of the room wasnt good.. funny smell even we spray our expensive purfumessssss ....
We stayed 5 nights in total in this budget hotel. Our room had a nice decor and a jacuzzi but it did not work. Also the towels had holes in them. Besides that everything was really clean and nice. Value for money. They had pool and 4 sun chairs in the common area. Service was really good and helpful!
Value for money”
We had to check in one night before we had booked our long stay. It was no problem via hotel free wifi. They had very good wifi in the lobby and in the room. Breakfast was good buffee with meat and cornflakes, 4 different kind of drinks and panncake, sausages and good fresh goods variety.
New room, big jacuzzi, secluded area”
This hotel has clean, comfortable rooms with very nice jacuzzis. The shower room is separate from the toilet. The jacuzzi is open to the bedroom. I like the layout, which makes the room seem very open and spacious. This resort is lined with trees and vegetation, which provide shade and some respite from the heat. However, at the same time, there are some mosquitos there. So, bring a mosquito repellant. I didn't try the breakfast because I had to leave very early. It took less than 30 minutes to drive to the international airport. There are many restaurants with live music in this area. The hotel is not close to any train station; for this reason, you need a car or a taxi to get around the area. The free wifi works well.
Excellent rooms located very good and calm .”
it was very nice stay at the hotel, close to the airport about 30mins or so 200baht by taxi. however, theres some few downsides which is that theres many mosquitos inside the room somehow. other than that very good place.
