Memorable place ever!”
It was very great staying in Siamese Studio. Firstly, I was a bit wondering about location of the studio, it seemed hard to find out where it is on the map. but was easy to get there after I jumped on a taxi, I just told driver that where I want to go to, then he get me to the Siamese Studio and I found out it was about 10 mins away from Phra Ram 9 Tube Station by walk. All staff were very kind, smiling all the time. Few of them speak english fluent. so I got some tips for traveling to Bankok City as you know it was my frist trip in there, was very helpful for me. About food, actually I stayed 5 days in Bankok and had lot of food in some restaurants, on the street. but the best was breakfast from the hotel and I could try italian food at cafe on the first floor of the hotel. all food were clean served and great! Well, Room was a bit small but enough for 2 person, room condition was clean and comfortable, air conditioner works well.

Great Bed & Breakfast & Bakery”
We stayed in Siamese Studio and were treated like relatives. The owners are planning to establish a cooking school on-site and let us sample some of their culinary inventions until we literally exploded. The rooms are very stylish but a bit dark and the deluxe king has a few steps leading to the bed, hence not very convenient for the elderly or anyone using the toilet in the middle of the night. Location isn't perfect but very close to Sukhumvit area for dining and shopping.

A cozy hotel makes u feel like home”
I really enjoy the time at Siamese Studio even though I just stayed one night there. The staff there is very nice that it made u feel like home, and I was really appreciated they can speak very well Chinese even though they are Thai. I will definitely stay Siamese Studio again.

OK for Budget Hotel”
We booked only for one night in Siamese Studio. The only issue was to get our suitcase to the 4th floor, but luckily their staff was ready to help. The room look smaller than in the picture but it was a clean one. Location was thrown a bit far from downtown and might be a bit confusing for taxi to find, but 7eleven was nearby so quite easy to get some late night snacks. Overall it was a decent stay, although I would love to not carry my bag up / down 4 stairs.

Great stuff, great design, best food!”
This little, new hotel feels like where Bangkok meets Brooklyn. Staff and manager are the people you want to meet when traveling: friendly, thoroughly educated in many fields, arts, history, colinary and more. You can keep to yourself and enjoy the great service but if you would be lucky you will have the oportunity and accept a welcoming offer to join the manager and his friends in the lobby as you are likely to learn many new things and meet some great people of the more internationaly oriented Thais. The place is sparkling clean, contemporary design, Can't wait to come again!

Wonder, cozy and value for money”
Like it very much! Especially the day beds in the room, very nice setting and design! It is around 10min walk to the nearest MRT station next to the mall, it is nearer to walk through Robinson departmental store exit in Central Plaza passed by the Rama9 Building instead of walking one big round around the construction areas (for hospital I think). But the hotel has no lift so you need to walk up to your room 2-3 storeys, if you are prepared to shop the whole Bangkok it should not be a concern

Best hotel staff owner in the world”
The owner of the hotel is the most friendly and helpful I have ever met! He is so patient in helping guests making travel plans and giving useful suggestions. He even called our hotel in phuket to check if we arrived safely. Even though the location is a little far from the metro station, I would still recommend this hotel to anyone. I will definitely stay here again if I ever had a chance to visit bangkok!

New boutique hotel near Central Shopping Mall”
This is hotel is very good value for money, and is only a few minutes walk from Central Rama 9 shopping mall. There's another new mall that's just opened which is a couple of minutes' walk away. Lots of street food available morning and lunchtime. Yet hotel itself is quite peaceful. Neat Bangkok Hospital and Piyavate Hospital, so very handy if you need to visit either. Very fast wifi - 40 Mbps download.

This is so wow”
We had struggle to find this hotel on map but it deserved our effort. We recommend this place because we felt like we are in another Bangkok, so fresh and quiet . But it'll take 15 minutues by walk to MRT station, sometimes it'll make us exhausted bc of walking with a huge bag after shopping. Still love this place and will come back when we have chance to go to Thailand.

Conveniently located, cozy and friendly hotel”
Very nice owner who waited for us till late in at night, fluent in both English and Chinese, and gave us good tips about where to go and the transportation. Staff are very friendly though not all of them speak English nor Chinese. Simple and traditional Asian breakfast which suits our taste(we and one day rice soup and one day stir fri rice :)) Clean and stylish room and lobby, love the sofa whitin the big windows! Room was clean, didn't see insets like other guests commented here, though in my sis's room they sais they founds spiders...I would accept it as long as they don't come into my bed, and we saw more later in koh Samui, lol. The beds are large, but would be better for me if it's softer, same for the pillows. After all, very good price for value and very good location, strongly recommend!

Good night, Sleep tight @Siamese”
I'm impressed in the price, location and facilities. Refrigerator, hair dryer, water heater, toiletries and clothes hangers are provided. Only 5 minutes walk to Rama 9 mrt if you know how to walk. You can ask people around there. There is no sign to tell you where mrt is. I found only the sign that told me how to go to Suwanabhum airport. lol If you travel alone, you may need to go back hotel early because the avenue is a bit scary at night. It's very dark and quiet. May not safe if you walk alone.

You get what u pay for!”
I am not sure how this place got any decent reviews previously!! We stayed here due to location near an event we were attending. Two requirements that need to be met by any hotel is a decent night's sleep and accessibility. The Siamese Studios failed on both counts. Despite the hotel photo showing the frontage as having a large name sign, this does not exist and we had difficulties in taxis on both occasions we traveled to the hotel. From the airport we had to phone the hotel on two occasions to try and locate but still ended up having to walk 100m back down the road due to heavy traffic, after our taxi passed by hotel. There is no elevator and rooms are on 2nd & 3rd floors, so be ready for some exercise. Watch your head if you are taller than 180cm. The "Deluxe King" room is a weird design with the bed on an upper level that is reached by 3 uneven concrete steps - very dangerous if going to bathroom in middle of the night. The window curtains above the bedhead allow a band of light along the top metre of the bed, the morning light shines straight onto the pillows. The workings of the television are still a mystery - remotes for both TV and cable. The 500 odd combinations to try and find a tv station were too hard. Be aware that the night clerk speaks little English, he tried to check me into a new room when I tried to get my room key late at night! Breakfast is strange! First offering at 7.30am was a vegetarian club sandwich with a side of coleslaw. We eventually found the toaster and coffee, able to help ourselves. On the plus side, it is a nice lobby/coffee shop setting. Location is about a 10 minute walk to MRT station and there is a Central Shopping Centre close by.

Hidden gem in the city”
Its been long while since I stayed in such a unique boutique hotel. Its more like a home than hotel. The room is simple yet modern. The owner Ken really made my stay exceptionally warm and memorable. He even brought me and his friends out for dinner. Super friendly owner who adds alot personal touch to my stay. One thing to note, there is no lift. It is however not an issue to me. The cafe is cool and I especially like to chill out there and do nothing. The cafe serves fantastic Italian food. Roast lamb is a killer. I am definitely going to return to their hotel for their Italian food and stay. A hidden gem in the city!

Excellent place. Will come back here when in BKK”
Great place. Clean, spacious, has ironing facilities. The owner offered to drive me to RCA to experience the nightlife there - 5-10 mins away. Also gave advice on where to go. If the workers can't speak English very well, speak Chinese - or Thai if you're fluent. Close to train station (10 minute walk)- it's hot so walk into as many air-conditioned buildings as you can. Next to one of the biggest shopping malls in BKK. TV has many English channels and 3 movie channels. Breakfast is hit and miss - can be great, can be average. Go outside and buy some local food. Don't spend more than 25 baht on any chicken - it's good but bargain it down to the real price ~15-25 baht. Old man in cart next to 7/11 is 35 baht. Get it fresh in the morning - at night it's cold and tough. It's far from Kao san (hangover 2 party street and where most foreigners and uni kids go). If there is ever a political alcohol ban (no alcohol past 12), kao san will be the only place that opens till 3.

A cosy alternative”
I have stayed here twice on separate trips and it was just as good the second time. Being a boutique hotel, it serves to deliver a cosy experience with delicious home-cooked (sort of) breakfast of either fried rice or porridge. Tea and coffee along with toast are free-flow. It is about 10 minutes away from Phra Ram 9 MRT station and there is a rather large shopping mall there as well. Although I do have to point out that the last hundred meter or so back to the hotel is rather quiet (and dark if you return late) but the area generally safe. The room is really clean and nicely furnished and the staff are warm and helpful. If you're looking for a quiet location away from the main shopping areas, you will not be disappointed with this hotel.

Nice little gem”
Overall a great place to stay. Staff score I made low. So unprofessional. Rest of the stay was all good though. We lived in BKK for 5 years and a hotel like this is good because its far enough down the lane to be quiet and within 5 minutes you can be either at the mall or riding the subway to where you need to go. A few other small things they should address that is normal for a hotel; hallways are noisy due to just being concrete flooring and thin doors, reception desk is a coffee shop order counter, no sign on hotel exterior (look closely to photos or you will miss it!), no sign on main floor where to go to rooms, or even if you are in an actual hotel for that matter...you actually go through a door that you would expect to say 'employees only' on it and go up the stairs. Also for having a large grand culinary kitchen the menu is oddly limited. We will stay here once more to see if we get a bit better "taste" of the hotel. We like it overall and want to make it one of our favorites as we come to BKK often...by the way coffee shop makes good coffee!

Nicely designed”
Fine experience. The staff was always forthcoming and the room while smallish (#10), nicely designed, comfy and quiet. I had asked for this particular one, which is located on the third floor without an elevator. The lobby and front desk also serve as restaurant. The learning kitchen for cooking classes is adjacent behind a glass wall. The food for the guests is actually prepared outside in a typical Thai fashion. There isn't much choice for breakfast but dinner menu is well-selected. Many decorative details make this little hotel a nice one to look at.

Nice and good location ”
central location, personal and staff really gentle and professional. I would just suggest to update photos and name as the name is not on the front door anymore, so i was struggling to find it.

Better than expected”
1.Convenient location, it is about 10mins walk from SS(name for short) to MRT Phra Ram 9 Station. On day1 , it costs me 220 Thai Baht from Don Mueang Airport to get to SS. Although SS is not famous in loacl taxi drviers, driver will call the hotel number to confirm the exact location, never to worry. Around there are new shopping mall Central Plaza, and 7-11 convenient stores, and massage, easy to find anything. 2.Lots of TV channels. Using ITV, television can receive 200+ global channels, including CCTV1-13. 3.Nice personnel. Most staffs cannot speak fluent English, but are still quite warm-hearted and willing to answer all my questions. There are 2 staffs who are ethic Chinese help me a lot. 4.The breakfast can provide a simple but local food, I stay 3 mornings there, all 3 breakfasts are different and thai-styled, I love experience localers' lives and foods, quite useful in living here. 5.The only thing to blame is bathroom air-conditioning. When open Exhaust fan, there is a strong Ammonia(NH3) smell, what make things worse, the fan is connected with bathroom lights, so I took bath without light for 3 nights. Hope SS will resolve this issue soon, as everything is perfect except this defect.

Value for money”
We stay at 4th floor, unfortunately there is no lift to our room. Basically you need to walk up to the room. Other than that, everythings is find. Hotel serves good Thai food, thumbs up! The hotel location is located not far from the MRT station, about 10 to 15 minutes and also nearby shopping complex such as Central Plaza and Tesco Lotus.
