My parents’ anniversary went pretty great. My Mom and Dad really felt as though they were on their 2nd honeymoon! From the moment I booked thru the app til the very last day of their stay, everything was seamless. Thank you! There’s just one thing though. My parents were charged 6k extra for the special dinner set up I requested for them. They told me it’s just around 3.5k but they added some other extra stuff and that was just too much for dinner. It’s not a fine dining experience by the way so please adjust your prices. Overall, my parents had a wonderful time.
Really good location. Had a couple of issues with my room. Great amenities! Accommodating staff.”
Pros: - Location - Free use of bikes - Free airport/resort transfers - Complimentary welcome drink and bottle of rum - Accommodating staff (but sometimes noticeably low on staff) - Amenities: Pool, Beach Front Bungalows, Restaurant, Public Bathroom Cons: - Some signs of age - Room issues: : Locking the door from the outside was a hassle. Lock even broke. : Safe was low batt and would not work : Handle on faucet also broke : Flooring still had residue of sand : Wi-Fi was NON EXISTENT : Weak signal
Faux Hotel. This resort in not upto the advertised standard”
Don't stay here this property is nowhere near the advertised standard. The accommodation is run down and not maintained to a good standard. We had broken doors. Mirrors not held in place and loose drain covers. The room we had was in desperate need of repair and refurbishment. I mentioned the problems to the property there was barely an apology or concern for our well being. This is one of the most expensive Hotels I have used and most disappointing and it is not a 4 star resort as facilities are lacking. Wifi was non existent. (Other resorts nearby had working internet). There is very little for children to do. I would have been unhappy if I paid 2500 php a night. It's just robbery at 8500php. Pros. The pool is nice and the beach. Breakfast is passable. But hardly anything to write home about. Cons. the whole place is a faux hotel. Stay away.
Siargao in July”
The property is one the best on the island highlighted with the best pool and beach bar. The rooms are simple but modern with all the standard items you expect from the States. However it’s time they did some updates and repairs. The staff is friendly and helpful. The weather in July was hot as expected and it hardly rained over the 5 days we were there. The surf was small but good for beginners.
Our first time in Siargao and this place delivered beyond our expectation. The welcome drinks - which was the buko (coconut) juice - was very refreshing. Bathrooms were clean (which is what I always look at first, whether staying in a hotel or resort). The staffs were very friendly and accommodating as well. Kudos to our guide who was very enthusiastic when we went island hopping. Karagatan delivered good food as well! The breakfast spread has a different menu everyday so you won't get to eat the same set of food per day. Their ala carte menu also was very yummy. I ordered for the shrimp curry while my husband got the scallops in butter - and we both agree that this restaurant has a good menu.
Exquisive memorable stay”
Love the way the resort is designed around the pool. Very friendly and caring staff. Food is very good. Night outdoor cinema was a nice surprise. Super tasty cocktails and fresh drinks. Very good massage in the spa. Lovely environment for families.
The staff at this hotel was very responsive, friendly and prompt in addressing requests. The view from the "floating" pool villas is beautifull. The resort is clean and well located. Motorbike rentals on sight. Rent one. Trust me on this. It's to hot to walk anywhere. The big money in building this hotel was directed towards the massive swimming pool. Pool is great. But the rooms while clean and large have plumbing issues. Specifically hot water. They did try to address this every time we called . The hotel beach is not swimmable and neither is Cloud 9. As far as we could tell there are no swimmable beaches in Siargo without driving 1 1/2-2 hours. The famous Cloud 9 is right around the corner from the hotel and most of the locations from the movie are within a five to ten minute motorbike ride. Same for bars and restaurants. 2 ATM's in General Luna that are very problematic. Bring enough cash for the length of your stay. No one except the hotels accept credit cards.
Everything was perfect except there was so much to do in the island we didnt get to enjoy the hotel
Nice pool. Very accommodating staff”
It was rainy most of the days we're in Siargao so it was a good choice to stay here. The pool is really nice and we had a great time lounging at the bar in the afternoon til sunset. There was an issue with water pressure but was fixed right away. Their staff are consistently accommodating especially John, who knew how to take care of the guests and gave us tips on where to go around the island.
All the staff were very friendly and attentive to my needs. They made me feel welcome and at home during my stay. Brandon and Honeybelle were especially kind to me as they were my personal butlers during my stay and took very good care of me as well as showed me around Siargao. Thank you so much for everything I definitely will be back one day. Siargao Bleu is an outstanding resort!
Great accommodation in Siargao”
Booking Siargao Bleu was the best decision we had for the trip. Wished we could've stayed longer in the villa (it was already fully booked for the week). Great food for breakfast, service and facilities were excellent. The only downside was the hot water but that's not a big deal. The resort has the excellent view and ambiance. Will definitely stay here again when we go back to Siargao!
Most beautiful resort in General Luna”
Pros: Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Cons: The floating cottages have continual issues: electrical power and plumbing shutting off randomly. Also, there needs to be more information in the cottages about hotel services and property phone extension. There was a phone in the room with no inhouse dial instructions. How to call the front desk, room service, housekeeping, etc. I have stayed in the both the 2nd floor Garden units and the floating cottages. And actually cheaper units garden units have better signage on the phones and the rooms. These are easy fixes the manager should look into and address.
Service was good from the beginning, food was awesome, facilities were excellent, and location good”
They had the buko juice as welcome drink but unfortunately was able to give only 2. We were 10 in all and they promised to double it the following day. So we had extra buko juice which came in handy when one of us got a fever. It cured him right away. The staff were all accomodating. Food was excellent. Facilities were awesome.
Beautiful!! The staff were all very helpful. CHEAP quality massages! it's about a 5 minute scooter ride from all the action in General Luna and about 5 min scooter ride the other direction to Cloud 9 Boardwalk. Just a forewarning (not against the hotel) There is no pharmacy in General Luna area. Nowhere even sells advil or cough syrup. The closest one was in a different town about 30-40 min scooter ride. So make sure you pack some meds because we sure needed it.
Shower smells and makes loud banging noise. ”
Me and my husband were checked in the garden area while my 3 friends were upstairs balcony view. Our room was okay, shower always smells like sewage the first minute you turn it on, while our friends' room makes loud banging noises in the middle of the night and even at one point there was no water! Pool is huge enough for the guests, lovely sea view. Plenty of food options in the morning buffet.
We decided to spend our 3rd year anniversary in the hotel to make our day extra special. Upon arriving, there's a free buko juice as welcome drinks and they have greeted us by putting Happy Anniversary greetings in our room. Great experience and pool is beautiful and food is pricey but tasty :)
The resort had everything we need, but a bit overpriced for the location”
the room was infront if the pool so it was very convenient if you want to take a quick swim in the morning, however, rooms are designed that sliding doors are facing each other so privacy was an issue for us. Food was not as good as we expected but the overall trip was good.
A TRIP TO REMEMBER <3”
If you're going to Siargao and aren't on a tight budget, please do book in Siargao Bleu. Every inch of the place was lovely! I booked a 4-day trip and from airport transfers to surprise dinners (by the boyfriend and with the participation of the staff) to the massage and the food --- IT WAS PERFECT <3 But here are a couple of things the resort could improve: 1. The food during the whole-day island hopping trip. We were hoping for more options and we were very specific about the food but it wasn't as good as we had hoped. 2. Please do buy a new billiards table/equipment. I loved that you had a billiards table but some of the cue sticks were already split in half. :( But other than those, you will have a great time at the resort and the staff are very very accommodating to all their guests' needs :)
Good hotel but has the potential to be world class”
Pros. Very close to cloud 9. The pool is so big you can kayak in it, ( if your less than 57kg«) Pickup from the airport from the hotel rep was excellent Restaurant has a high standard of food The gym has all you need and is good. The bathroom in the poolside villa is excellent Room was very clean, and bed was very comfortable Cons. Absolutely terrible wifi all in areas of the hotel. The rest of the island the wifi was fine Door on the villa sliding is very difficult to open. Staff are not the most informed or helpful Pool table needs fixing along with new queues Staff don't clean the room till late afternoon
Location is perfect. Staff is amazing and very attentive. Food prepared by Chef Peter is perfect every time. Pool cannot be beat. I stayed twice in one visit to Siargao and will definitely stay again.
