Sichon Cabana Beach Resort is located on a quiet beach of Sichon and ideal for those wanting to see and feel the more secluded and local parts of Thailand. Cycling and sightseeing are some of the famous pastimes here as the city is renowned for its historical richness and local attractions. On the beach itself, there is a number of water sports offered which include scuba diving, fishing, and parasailing. All rooms are decorated in a contemporary style, complemented by traditional art and locally made handicrafts but with the Western touch for utmost comfort. Dining options at the property include restaurants and a pub which serves a variety of local dishes and drinks on the beachfront. With an array of facilities on offer and inexpensive accommodation, this hotel really offers great value for money.

Sichon Cabana Beach Resort
Nice friendly and polite staff, good food, nice location, clean beach. ”
The staff are friendly and accomodating and helpful. Location is nice and good for swimming, the was clean. Free kayaking available. Food was good and tasty. Breakfast (buffet) was included with our stay and were tasty too. Room was comfortable for two, all amenities were working well, and was clean, including the bathroom. Only cons I can think of is the price is a bit expensive for it's facilities. (The hotel next door has a swimming pool and the price was similar.) Other than that, it's a good place to stay, and I won't hesitate to book again next time.
The Sichon Cabana is located in a local beach in Nakhon Si Thammarat. The beach is very far from the city, and has only some small hotels. No shops or local market is around there. Without a car, you cannot go anywhere for shopping. However, if your purpose is to relax in a beach, it is the best place. The foods in the restaurant of the Sichon Cabana were very tasty and very cheap. You can enjoy seafood and Thai foods. However, they sometimes served very slowly when they had too many customers. The room was very good, specious and clean. However, I was not able to use the Internet in my room often. I was able to use the Internet in the public area such as a restaurant though it was often slow. But it might be the problem in the local beach, not in the hotel. Their problem is that their staff cannot speak English at all except for the manager. Therefore, it was very difficult for me to explain when I needed some special requests. If their price were cheaper, I would visit them again.
All good except that they are under construction and i have to take another room instead of the one i booked. Staff seems nice but not very nice as they asked me to move in one pack a room without a good reason which it doesnt compare equal to the price i've paid.
DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ”
I booked for a night after reading some very favourable reviews. Thank God I only booked for 1 night. So, what's bad about the place that is by the beach? First of all, the beach has a lot of sand flies. I was bitten on my legs and back. it is also littered with plastic bottles. There is no effort to keep it clean. Well, I didn't see any during my short stay. The rooms are old. Floor boards creak and they don't even bother with a soap dish for the soap! The killer is there is major renovations and they start at 6am. Yes, you didn't read it wrong. At 6am, the saws and banging started. aside from this, the outdoor cafe which has a beautiful view ruins everything by playing techno music incessantly. oh, there no way and it gets stuffy when there's no sea breeze. Get the staff to help? They too busy, glued to their phones. so, save yourself the time and money and stay away from this establishment.
A must visit”
Owner is a cyclist, you can gather awesome routes out of him
Good hotel by the beach ”
Good location sitting by SIchon beach. There was a construction site during the stay which made it was not so convenience to walk around the hotel. The dust and dirt was all over the places marked down the cleanliness. On the bottom line, good hotel with decent food.
Amazing place with amazing people”
A fabulous location on a clean, quiet beach with a calm and warm sea. The room was very clean and really spacious. The food was amazing and great value for money. However, the best part of the experience was the staff. They are so lovely and friendly. Paula (the owner) is amazing! She even drove us to a local market and spent time with us telling us about the local food and helping us with our purchases, even writing down recipes for us! I couldn’t recommend this place enough!
Best resort in Sichon”
This is my second time staying here. Room condition is acceptable with wide space. Toilet is good but amenities should be more. There is no sea view from the room but just a few step walk to the curved beach where is very beautiful. Breakfast is all we needed. It has a cafe named Blue Curve which just newly opened this month. The best thing is helpful and cheerful staff. Loving here.
Good location, connect to the beach. Good food.”
We stayed in bangalow type. The room were quite run down. Floor fills with small sand from outside. Unfortunately weather was bad, so we couldn't do much of activities. But in generall, location is not bad, good food, some staffs are careless and no rooms facing beach.
Room far from the beach”
Booking with Agoda with different room rate this time more expensive expect to room with closer to the beach but the same room as last time in April. Why pay more this time get the same room? In the add the room is not the same when check in. Why? No more booking this hotel with Agoda.
Quiet beach stay ”
Stayed only one night here. Place is secluded so is a problem for those without own transport. Stayed in a bungalow with a Balinese bath outside. Quite interesting. Good wifi speed, electrical outlets, comfy bed and efficient AC. Restaurant food I did not try much but the breakfast porridge gave me stomach cramps. My missus ate the same food but she is ok. Place is suitable for those looking for a place to unwind, surfing or canoeing for a few days. They are still extending the place so it can only get better in future. I also spoke to the manager owner ( Paula?) who is quite receptive to new ideas. I wish them best of luck.
Very friendly staff!”
We spent 2 very enjoyable, relaxed days there, away from the crowds. The staff speaks very good English and was very friendly. Sichon is an original little Thai town. Only drawback: weekender rooms don't have a nice view. We can only recommend the place and would certainly come back!
Great place to forget the world”
I had a great stay at this property. I stayed fro 5 days and it was very relaxing. The beach is great for swimming as it is very calm, very few people around no the water was clean and warm. The food was very nice and reasonably priced also. Breakfast is standard breaks you get in hotels in thailand but they could have added some fruits to it to make it more compete. The lady at reception had good english si it was easy to ask few questions about transportation, and things to do. I had a day at Nakhon Si Thammarat ( got there on mini van from Sichon ) and visited a water fall near by on rented motorbike. From the airport got a taxi direct to the hotel ( 50 mins and 800 baht for the ride ) . They way back was a bit more complicated as there were no taxis from hotel to airport. A driver from hotel to airport is 1500 baht but I opted to get a motorbike to Sichon ( 10 mins ride for 50 baht ) and a minivan from Sichon to airport for 260 baht. The room was confortable and the bed very nice. No wardrobe but not a real problem if you are not carring lots of stuff. Alien all a very nice place and I would go back if I need a place to chill and enjoy the beach and some peace and quiet.
Quiet Self-Contained Resort”
Stayed 25-31 Dec; modern tropical room. The room itself was part of a four-plex, the building furthest from the beach. As the name suggests, it was spacious with contemporary local furnishings. I chose an upper floor room with a nice balcony area. The bathroom facilities were spacious also. Cable TV was local channels only and the wi-fi, spotty. The resort's router had to be restarted at least once a day. The property is deep and narrow so no room faces the ocean. The various guest buildings are located in a single row behind the restaurant/bar next to the beach. Construction on six bungalow style units were completed by New year's Eve. The beach and restaurant are the draws here. During my stay, the water was high and rough and the weather overcast and blustery for the most part. But the pleasant restaurant serves delicious Thai cuisine. The menu is extensive with local and northeast dishes; prices are very reasonable. The chef is talented and dedicated. My room fare included breakfast and the waitress substituted an American menu with a generous platter of fresh fruit, attractively presented (Thai fruit carving). The staff are warm and hardworking. They have limited English skills since most guests are local. But the resort manager is conversant so he can handle any special requests (like arranging an airport transfer). The hotel is located in an area with three or four resorts. Other than that, it's isolated, more than 50 km from Nakhon Si Thamarat airport. Figure in a 45 minute taxi ride if you're catching a flight out of the area. There's a neighboring property owned by the same family and construction is ongoing on a fairly large beach side building. Bicycles are available for exploring. The waterfront area of Sichon town itself is picturesque. For a relaxing beach side location offering seasonal surf, I'd recommend this resort.
A Great Beach, Great Room and Fanyastic Restaurant”
we were a last minute online check in and had a little trouble finding this nice little resort, but that was a map problem. we had some of the best thai food and very good prices. the people were very nice and treated us as friends. we really enjoyed the stay and we will be back soon.
Lovely small hotel. Deluxe Room is too small. ”
if you want to get away from tourists, hang out in a thai small town, this is a nice budget hotel on the beachfront property. the beach is pretty and nice to swim in, although the first day we got there the wave was a bit rough since it was a day after a storm. the deluxe room that we booked, although it is cute wooden bungalow, it is a bit too small. we decided to upgrade to their new room for a night.
Still under reconstruction”
The hotel is situated in a very good location of Sichon beach. Breakfast is OK. Room for family is spacious but there is no swimming pool (under reconstruction). I recommend a hotel nearby in the same area more than this one at the moment.
ที่พักไม่สะอาด ห้องอับ ไม่คุ้มกับราคาที่จ่าย
