My favourite place in Bangkok”
It's a basic guesthouse but for me has the best value for money. Clean, spacious ensuite room. Located in a Thai district, busy daytime with a market, very quiet night time. 5 minutes from MRT.

The location is great because it's near to mrt station so it's easy to go everywhere, breakfast is great, the room is not small but the bed is hard, the staff barely speak english so i used google translate to communicate with her, but she's nice, they do daily cleaning. Seriously this place is good

Cute Little Place”
Stayed here as I needed to be reasonably close to the embassy to sort out visa. This Hotel is close to the MRT line, about a 3 minute walk and food stalls, markets, 7/11 are nearby so always cheap and tasty food nearby. Hotel itself quiet and nice comfortable beds. The staff are excellent and very friendly. Enjoyed my stay there

Comfortable room”
Sidare is run by a friendly elderly couple. It is located near the MRT and there are food markets throughout the neighborhood. Recommended.

OK”
Stayed four nights in two different rooms. The first one was the smallest and had no outside window, but functional. The second was a "superior" room, however the shower was too small to move around in, the space for hanging clothes was also too small and the toilet didn't flush properly. Most importantly, despite the name (Sidare Bed & Breakfast) the DO NOT serve any breakfast beside some toast with jam which you can prepare yourself at no cost. Other than that, the place was clean and staff is friendly.

There are better hotels for the price”
This was an ok hotel in terms of the room. I’m not a fan of windowless rooms and this one had a window…but into the hallway. All a bit odd. The location is good as it is in walking distance from the station. Staff find English a little difficult but you can work around that with translator apps so not a big problem. Overall a little disappointing but ok for short stays.

Good budget option ”
Pros: convenient to MRT, lots of restaurants / food stalls, 7/11s nearby, quiet, the woman in charge is friendly Cons: small room, especially the bathroom, our room had no natural light and instead had a window to the corridor where the electric light is constantly on and shining into the room, something I personally hate, might be difficult to communicate with staff if you don't speak Thai

Best Money Value”
You have to expect a good money value. The room is simple. I was lucky because the hotel upgrade my room to a larger one. The MRT is 5 min walking and can take you anywhere. If you want to eat, there are plenty of Thai simple and cheap food till 8 PM only They provide you with kettle, free coffee and tea, free water and two free breakfast I am satisfied for the money I have paid and I will come again if the price still under 460 Baht

Good location, Friendly staff”
Actually its my 2nd time stay here, this hotel really close with Sutthisan MRT and also market which is had a lot of delicious foods and snack. And for staff they are very friendly, breakfast is good so far but you better serve fresh one and add more menu. For the room actually all is good, except one.. i'm so surprise with the bed. last time i stay here the bed is good but my 2nd time the bed trying to kill me. its really flat and so hard. I cant sleep while i stay there and also for the pillows its like rock :") i'm so sorry for write this but you need to change your bed and pillows. This hotel had special place in my heart every time i go back to Bangkok, sadly my 2nd place staying here a lil bit disappointed.

Nightmare”
Room without window with outside view. I felt like staying in abasement. Lady from reception made kindergarden at this hotel, and asked me to leave at precisely 12, while my check out hour was until 14. For advantage: location. It can be good maybe for one night. For more, it can be horrible experience.

Good enough for the price”
I just needed a bed to sleep in a clean AC room between two appointments on different days and I got exactly that. To complain about a place that charges less than five hundred Baht per night in Bangkok for a room with private bath, AC and some sort of breakfast thrown in is actually not appropriate. My expectations regarding the room where of course not high, and indeed the room was very basic, but the bed was okay and so was the cleanliness, so that's actually all I could ask for. The Wifi worked properly. I was assigned a ground floor room which I usually don't like (as pests enter buildings from the ground floor), but it came with a window and I encountered no roaches or other unwanted joiners. Except for a huge gecko which I was not able to chase away, but luckily it did not jump on my head during my sleeping hours. There was a breakfast offered which consisted of a pre-cooked hot dish from a plastic box in the fridge which was then re-heated, plus free toast, jam and (instant) coffee or tea. Nothing fancy but still nice to have considering the room rate. Thanks to other reviews here, it was very easy to find the place, just take exit 3 when exiting the Sutthisan stop of the MRT, turn left, and left again and walk through the pleasant local market, then turn right, walk towards the end of the small Soi and then turn left again. Sounds more complicated than it is and googlemaps is spot on as well. Security seems a tad sketchy, as the glass door leading to the ground floor rooms seems permanently unlocked and in many cases the tiny reception is unmanned. Luckily there was an additional door latch in the room. If I need a cheap-Charlie place again I would not hesitate to book in here again. Oh, I need to add that my room probably had the narrowest shower stall I ever squeezed my (not-so-small) cadaver in, but that was a minor shortcoming really

Exceptional”
It's my 4th stay in Sidare. I stay here every time I come to Bangkok. Basic, big and comfortable rooms with TV and complimentary water. Nice Asian or European breakfast included in the rate. The place is located in a Thai district with few to none tourists. Very lively market daytime, very quiet in the evening. 5 minutes walk to LRT Sutthisan.
