The staff at Sierra hotel was excellent and very accommodating. They worked with me when I needed to extend my stay. If there was one complaint I had it was the shower water temperature. I had a hard time getting the water temperature to adjust to a comfortable temperature. Other than that the staff was very helpful.

The true meaning of Filipino Hospitality...”
My mother and I travelled to Dumaguete to visit my mother's relatives. We stayed last February 16-17. Nothing fancy on the outside appearance of the hotel but the staffs and service was excellent! The shuttle service was there on time when they picked us up from the airport. BTW, shuttle service was FREE. They also waived our early check-in fee without me even asking. The bell service was also notable as he helped us to look for a tricycle bound to the bus terminal. Our room Condo A was also spacious. ACs, TV and hot shower were functioning well. There's just weird looking holes at the Bathroom's ceiling. Breakfast was also awesome! Overall, we felt what a true Filipino hospitality was. Thank you Sierra Hotel. Till next time! 😊

Most likely the best hotel (not a resort) in Dumaguete. It's expensive for this area, but they do deliver the quality that you're paying for: Bed is very comfortable, soft linens, good pillows, and everything is clean & fresh. Free Breakfast Buffet was included with our stay. The restaurant has really tasty food, and just next door is a Spanish Restaurant, Tinto's, that's very good too. A short walk down the street is Lantaw's Restaurant. It's a must everytime we go! Wifi was pretty inconsistent while we were there. We'd be connected, but it wouldn't do anything. Would stay here, again.

We are newly wed locals that opted to stay in a hotel to be fair with our parents and in laws. I was very pleased with the excellent correspondence with the hotel as they were prompt and really helpful, from the moment we were picked up at the airport, the huge rooms and generous breakfast buffet. Although the food weren't topped up at around 9am and had to request to replenish the buffet. The coffee wasn't hot and they ran out of bread. Then again I still like the ambiance despite the tiny hidden check in counter. I have noticed how authentic the courteousness of the entire staff. I would definitely come back here and recommend local friends and family to go for staycations at the hotel.

Neat and clean”
We stayed for 3 days. The hotel is neat and clean. The breakfast buffet changes everyday. The staff were hospitable. Their airport/seaport transport is not for free(as posted on their website) there is a fee of P600. Tricycle/pedicab don't pass by the area very often so we had to wait 10-30minutes each time we leave the hotel. Overall it was still a pleasant stay. Thank you!

A very nice place to stay. Great staff who are very friendly and accommodating...The only downside is their internet connection. If you are a freelancer or traveling for work, this may not be an ideal place who can provide a stable internet connection. But overall, we are satisfied with our stay here. Surely, we will choose to stay here again if ever we'll visit Dumaguete again. ☺️

The staff are nice, the room is clean and location is good but there is no ref in the room. We stayed for 3days and 2nights I ask for another set of clean towel in the next 2 days but they did not provide, I don’t know why or they just forget.

Dumaguete Downtown-5 minutes from Silliman University”
I stayed for 3 nights at the Sierra Hotel. It was recently built and open..very clean and located at a convenient place for me to take care of some business while staying. Breakfast was served and it was semi-western and Filipino style..I enjoyed it. There was a nice swimming pool but I didn't have a chance to use it. If I go back to Dumaguete for the business I would stay there. Not the 5-star hotel quality but friendly staff and clean and convenient. -There was no refrigerator in the room -Shower was fixed on top and water pressure was not strong enough - shower needs to be changed I think. Nice view from the terrace-I stayed on the 6th floor, there was a beautiful sunrise and sunset view... that was a bonus. :)
