Considered by many to be an excellent business hotel, the Silken Puerta Madrid Hotel enjoys a strategic location only five minutes from the Juan Carlos I Trade Fair and the airport. The spacious and modern nature of the rooms come as a pleasant surprise considering the low price. They feature all the amenities that today's business traveler not only enjoys, but demands. Guests can expect to have access to high-speed internet and modern desk phones. The free shuttle to and from the airport adds to the chain of reasons visitors consider this property, and so too does the massive breakfast. Getting to the city center can be a bit of an issue, but the friendly staff at the Silken Puerta Madrid Hotel has a wealth of knowledge on how to get there.

Everything was amazing!!! The only thing is that we got to the hotel earlier and the lady at the reception was not too nice and she refused to give us early check in .. other than that it was an amazing experience I honestly did not want to leave the room was soooo clean I did not have any complaints the shampoo and body wash and cream were great !! I booked another night for next week I just want to stay there again !! Amazing hotel !
It was great, everything was almost perfect! Except that they let the guests smoke right at the entrance door!!, so when you go in you inhale all that smoke, they blow it right in your face. A couple of days, there was like a convention, and like 20 people were gathered right outside the entrance door smoking, you had to almost push everyone to find your way out and inhale all that ugly cigarette smell. You could smell inside the reception all that smoke!! They need to designate a smoke area further from the entrance.
Hotel was clean and with all the necessary amenities and really close to airport”
Only thing negative I found in this hotel is their airport shuttle service. Their last shuttle to airport leave at 8 P.M and my flight was at 1 A.M so I have to leave hotel at around 10 P.M and I had to take a taxi to the airport. In other hotels that I have stayed in madrid previously, they had shuttle service till 11. P.M usually

Bar downstairs open night easy to grab drink&food. BedRoom bathroom both clean and big Easy going staff and free shuttle van to airport Breakfast tasty Hotel bit away from metro stations
Too loud, too far away, bad wifi”
in my opinjon it's a standard hotel for business people. not good, not bad. just standard. the house itself looks not very charming, not to say has the ugliness of the 1970 achitecture style. (washed concrete) but the interior design is ok. the rooms are big enough and clean and the service is good. the internet is bad, was MUCH TO SLOW and we needed always a half hour to organize our sightseeing because of that. the personal is speaking english and they have a free airport shuttle service.
Good hotel - would stay there again”
We had a good weekend visit at this hotel. All went well: the bed was comfortable, shower was good, room space and furnishings are adequate. We had a few minor problems. First, our room smelled of cigarette smoke that had been partially cleaned, but some residue persisted. Second, the hotel is located in a safe, but rather boring part of Madrid, not much to see withing walking distance. Our taxi driver did not use his meter and insisted on being paid 30 euros for the 10-15 minute drive from the Madrid airport to the Silken Puerta Hotel. I understand this is the standard fare from the airport to central Madrid, but this hotel is far from the center. A receptionist at Silken Puerta told me that I'd been ripped off by the taxi driver. Be sure to get a price estimate from the driver before allowing him to put your baggage in the taxi, and ask him to use the meter. Next time I'll try using Uber.
A bit out of the way, but excellent price”
I stayed for two nights before flying home, and for the price I was amazed by how luxurious and comfortable my room was. The receptionist could speak English and was very helpful and sweet, and while the location is outside of central Madrid, it is pretty easy to catch a bus or train to the city center. Wish there was more to see near the hotel itself, but I don't really have complaints.
Great hotel needs some updating, carpets worn,”
Good, not great. I relaxed, room was large, quiet, and a/c working well (very hot this summer!) front desk personnel always available and pleasant. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet. But, the coffee machines didn't deliver the quality I expected. Could they return to the old, simple style of fresh brewed coffee?
Spacious Room, Friendly Staff”
I only stayed a very short time, but I was very pleased with the room. The accommodations were very clean. The bedroom was separate from the sitting area which was separate from a lovely walk-in closet. The bathroom was also spacious with double sinks, shower and tub. The staff was friendly and accommodating as I had failed to bring an electrical oulet converter. I did not have any food from the hotel so I rated it average. The only downside is the location from the city center. A cab ride cost about 20 Euros. I would certainaly stay there again!
Very nice hotel between city and airport”
this was a great choice for someone flying out the next day to another spain destination, so good location to get into the city for the day and get to the airport the next day. the room was lovely and particularly the bathroom is very nice - big and with a bath. the bed was a bit hard because i prefer a softer matress, but the room was quiet and i got a good rest. the hotel lobby is very nice, quite big and you can go down and have a drink and something to eat while waiting for the plane the next day, whilst hooking yourself up to the free wifi. that was the main advantage for me, after check out i just used the lounge for a couple of hours before getting to the airport. you can take a bus into town for just 1 euro 50 and it takes about 35-40 mins. the metro station is too far to walk i think. the taxi home from town was just 15 euro. taxi to airport was roughly the same. the bar in the lobby at night was fine, with a nice guy giving me my sparkling wine, but the morning service was terrible, with a girl who couldn't speak english properly and i didn't like her attitude. be careful when ordering an iced coffee - you get the coffee and glass of ice separate! it was a bit of a shock and she was not friendly! service at reception was very nice and most of them spoke english and they printed out my next hotel voucher. i was very happy with the girls at reception.
Recommendable hotel between city center and the ai”
For a one night stop in Madrid to catch an early morning flight this hotel was exellent. With public transportation just around the corner it was easy to wisit the city center in the evening. And the free airport, and very helpful airport transportation the next morning var perfect. 10 minutes to the airport.

Our stay at Puerta Madrid”
This is the second time we are staying in the property. Value for money. Good property. Bad Wifi. Restaurant closed in week ends. However they cater at coffee shop. Limited room service.
Beautiful hotel with very comfortable beds and wonderful, helpful, friendly staff! Overnight stay with easy ride to airport on free shuttle. Had no time to use other facilities.
Dear Joan, Thank you so much for staying with us and for rating our facilities and services. We appreciate your comments and we are very happy that you have enjoyed your stay. We hope to see you again. Best regards, Customer care department.
Just passing by and staying for the night... a bit difficult to access wifi ...it was free but in order to use it I had to delete all cookies...as you couldn't do it I had no Internet the computer there did not work properly
Value for money”
Decent hotel, very good value for the money, excellent airport shuttle. Staff efficient and prompt, can be a little more friendly. Taxis always available in front of the hotel. Decent rooms, nice views, slightly tired. Not very close to city center but has direct bus that took about 35 min. Metro is 20 min walk.
nice and clean”
The hotel was very neat and tidy and very comfortable. one of the hotel hostesses was very friendly and helpful and answered all of our questions. The hotel is close to airport but faar from city centre, so it is hard to go back to the hotel for a break before you continue your tour of the city. But this way, we were able to see more of the city.
One night in Madrid”
The hotel is situated relatively close to the Madrid airport. However, there is no close metro station to the hotel. Either one takes a taxi (about 5min drive) or walks for 20min to the next closest station (Ciudad Lineal). From there it is very easy to get to the center of town. We enjoyed our stay there. The hotel is quiet and modern and the rooms have nice finishes. Especially the bathroom impressed us, fitted with a bath and a shower.
The hotel is good!”
Actualy the hotel is quite close to airport. Taking Bus200, you just go pass from the hotel, but it regre there is nobus stop of bus 200 close to the hotel. But that's ok you could take another bus of 114 from terminal of Ave de America. It is very convenient to you afterwards.
Great rooms, amazing prices and quite rooms to rest. The location is not the best manly because the traffic jams around
Dear Jonathan, thank you for staying with us and for rating our facilities and services. We appreciate your comments and we are happy to know that you have enjoyed your stay. The hotel is situated besides a highway and in area full of enterprises, for that reasons on week days there are so much traffic. We hope to see you soon again. Best regards, Customer care department
