Cannot recommend this hotel enough! From the location, cleanliness, style and atmosphere, through to the polite and friendly staff. Especially appreciated the care they are taking now with the Covid-19 pandemic, including giving us a free tea tree disinfectant spray! All the little details that make the guests feel so welcome, such as take away coffee when you finish your breakfast, tea in crafted ceramic mugs whilst you check-in, fresh fruit in the room, face masks in the bathroom...I could go on and on! Awesome buffet breakfast; even had a choice of 2 completely different menus on different floors: Taiwanese or Western. Relaxing outdoor pool, with some nice views. Will most definitely stay here again, had a fabulous and relaxing stay :)

Would definitely recommend Silks Place Tainan. 1. The staff were warm and friendly. 2. We were served winter melon tea upon arrival, a pleasant surprise. 3. The rooms were clean, spacious and very comfortable. 4. They provided us with good recommendations to visit around Tainan. 5. Didn't have to wait for a taxi because they are always on stand by. 6. Breakfast was GOOD. Would definitely stay at Silks Place again if we're back in Tainan!

Excellent facilities & dining options”
We were really impressed by the breakfast buffet options at Silks Place. For all three nights of our stay, we dined at the 1F western breakfast buffet (there is a 2F asian breakfast buffet option, too). We found everything we hoped to see, and more! Omelette bar, eggs served in all different ways, rice congee, coffee and toast, bacon! The location of the hotel is also really convenient. We were within walking distance of many tourist sights, and it was also great to be right by Mitsukoshi.

We loved out stay at Silks, beautiful decor throughout the hotel and the staff were wonderful. We were in the family room and space was very generous and the sliding doors made it easy to open the room up or have more of a bedroom feel. Breakfast was great, we tried both the traditional and western buffets and were impressed with the range of options. The location was excellent close to shopping and food and taxis are always available for other locations. Would highly recommend.

Loved staying here. Service was excellent and loved the room with huge soaker bath, outdoor pool, gym and fireplaces. Lovely modern decor. Breakfast and restaurant need to be more affordable, so we went out to eat breakfast and dinner instead. Worth every $ spent otherwise.

Luxurious 5-star hotel in a quaint city”
Location: it is located just next to Mitsukoshi Shopping Mall with a floor of restaurants, food court and super market at B2. Located near to key touristic places in Tainan. Room: very comfortable that comes with full set of toiletries. TV also comes with free movies. Toilet bowl with bidget and washing buttons. Staff: staff is professional, friendly and customer oriented. Breakfast: a choice of international and local Tainan breakfast. Love the Tainan breakfast especially the seafood porridge. On the whole, it is a very good 5-star hotel. Value for money

We love the hotel and definitely to stay again if we come to Tainan. The services are excellent. My kids love the play room and pool. You can have all Tainan speciality food in their Chinese style breakfast. They also have Western style buffet breakfast but we choosed Chinese one. Department store is right next to the hotel.

The Silks Place Tainan is a cut above the rest and offers true high class luxury in the heart of Tainan. While some major landmarks (Anping Fort, Chimei Museum, etc) are not within walkable distance, you are located strategically at the center of Tainan and mere meters away from a shopping mall. That said you won't want to leave the hotel anyway as the premises' facilities are top notch. The room itself was extremely spacious, and amenities were top notch. The best part of the stay was their Tainan style Breakfast, so do get the breakfast included when you book as it is extremely worth the price of entry. Overall Silks Place Tainan is one of, if not the best hotels to stay in Tainan!

We went to the pool and children's playroom during our stay, and it's crowded in the playroom and it's relatively small. The breakfast on 1/F was good and seatings are comfortable enough. I will recommend families to stay here!!!!
