Beach front hotel”
My two days here were great. Crystal Bay is gorgeous, even with heavy rains some of the day. I stayed in modern apartment that was really big and glass fronted, overlooking the pool area. Very clean. The staff in the bar and dining area were really friendly and served very good cocktails. Great pool as well as the sea minutes from my room. Definitely worth staying. Thanks to the friendly, helpful staff.

Great place”
Me and my little brother came for a few days to see if we would like Samui, and we love it here :). This hotel is between 2 of the busier spots. Great for getting to some beautiful tours, good food, and good people. The staff here are very kind, the pool is beautiful, the massage place right here on the beach is amazing. The bungalows arent super fancy, but they have good AC, working utilities and comfortable beds. I'd recommend this place to anyone.

Have your own private beach but sometimes it does not really private. People come over for Silver Beach to enjoy the seaside and cheat Thai massage.

This is a great value for money hotel in terms of pool and ocean! Rooms are a bit dated (I stayed in a budget room there are more modern options as well) but if you spend most of your time at the beach then it’s a non issue. The beach is lovely with incredible sunsets.

Nice resort on beautiful beach”
As the reviews say great beach, not so great staff. Brilliant restaurant with average food, staff don't interact at all, men are lazy. Nice breakfast included, take the muzzle repellant. Would be better without dog and cats in restaurant. Our room was deluxe b/front, old but clean, with air/con, fridge, TV. We'll stay at Promptsuk next time as food is fantastic, staff are brilliant and gardens are beautiful ... no mozzies, flies or animals there!

Nice facilities/beach! Rude owners horrible room ”
All of the staff at the hotel where lovely other than the owners who where very rude to my boyfriend when he asked for clean towels! Location and facilities in hotel where nice but room was much more basic than expected. No air con/fridge and felt like a sauna in the room during the day even with the fan! Not great value for money in comparison to other hotels we have stayed at in Thailand!

A dump with rude staff”
I am honestly not picky and have stayed in many bad places but this was one of the worst. The staff was incredibly rude and very unhappy. The rooms were very worn down and there was bugs and mold. There are tons of nicer places for this price. The pool and beach are amazing but it's really not worth the rude staff and bad room.

Cheap and Cheerful”
We stayed here because it was at Silver Beach (which is beautiful and quiet in comparrison in the rest of Samui)and it was cheap. The place lacked atmosphere with the bare rooms and basic facilities. Our room had bare wires hanging from the ceiling! Despite this the beds weren't as hard as others in Thailand. The food was ok and reasonably priced. The staff were polite and organised an airport trip for us.

Bungalow but theres different options”
Cheap ones are over the road bit too far away. Bungalows near beautiful clean infinity pool with garden view need updating and are very basic. We would only stay a couple of nights. Bathroom is old style with walk in shower, not very nice but its cheap stay. Beds not great but clean sheets but had purple marks. No kettle but fridge. Best beach in area. Pool was beautiful but only 6 loungers. Food in restaurant was lovely and inexpensive. Some better rooms are available than the bungalow we got. We got what we paid for. Staff great. Taxi pulls up outside. Shop nearby etc... but busy road as no pavement. Calm sea plenty shade ideal beach for kids.

Great beach, but old room”
Our stay was ok, the beach was perfect but the hotel is little bit old. They take care really good about the garden but the rooms are old and smelly. The should also clean the beach (full of rubbish) that they say that is private. The staff was ok except for the owner, when we asked about room service and the complementary water she said that her hotel do cleaning every 2 days (we stayed 3 days and never had room service and water).

landlords can be much more service oriented”
we took a beach front rooms, payed almost 3000 bahts per room which was overpriced. rooms were cleaned only everyother day, low standard and very small. location is great, beach is wonderfull. our kids did pipi once and the lady wanted to overcharge us with 1500 baht more, amazing and not service oriented. when we refused she started shouting and screaming,said she needed to send the mattress for proffessional cleaning. of course it was just away to take money from us. she threatened not to clean the rooms but when i told her i will write bad comments about her she cleaned it eventually. when we left, she said that the curtain rod was damaged by us and wanted 500 baht for that, of course it wasn't truth, it was a low level rod which was a bit folded when we came in the first day. not a nice lady although her staff was much better. the beach is recommended, not the hotel. i will never go there again.
