Down to earth hotel, lively and close to the strip”

Lovely pool, superior rooms in the tower have a great view of Vegas and the desert, vouchers given for free drinks and food, casino lively and always open

The room at terribles was lovely, I would definitely recommend staying in one of the tower rooms so you get the view. The staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel is a little off the strip and it's hard to walk because of the heat, so you might find you have to take quite a few taxis. The pool was wonderful, nice to relax in after a day of walking around. The buffet breakfasts were excellent value for money. The only negative is that there was a distinct smell of old smoke around, particularly in the casino. But then, it is Vegas!

This was an outstanding value for the money. The staff took great care of me and my wife, Thank you!”

First off thank you Carla, and Shannon at the front desk, you were wonderful and so very helpful. My high review is mainly because of how well you both took care of us. Way above and beyond. Joe, thank you for all your help with the AC unit. Room was very nice and clean. Tub and shower were dated but the rest of the King premium room made up for it. Room 1011 was perfect. I will be staying here again next year. Thank you very much Silver Sevens!

Great room, good restaurants, a bit off Strip”

Large pleasant room, clean, nice flat screen TV

we stayed 3 nights - great rate thanks to agoda. the room had some view, overlooking the pool (rm 2011). good king size bed. a/c had some sort of energy saving feature, so it went to low power mode when out, so it took a few minutes for room to cool down when we came back. bathroom somewhat dated, but clean. many restaurant deals available and the food was pretty good. handy convenience store in the hotel, w/ no gouging on prices, e.g., barefoot chard. for $5.00, which is about what it costs in stores. the service people were nice. negatives - it's about 0.7 miles off the strip and you have to go thru the casino to check in and get to the restaurants and it's somewhat smokey.

    Good for the price”

    Room, Location, Price

This review is in two parts: The room and the hotel. The room was very nice, clean and large. Good bed that was new, clean and large bathroom. Tv was nice but limited channels. Paid around $33 a day and I would stay here again. One security concern is that the top lock of the door was broken, looked like someone opened it witht he latch and it simply broke off. The Hotel: While it is a local hotel it always smells like smoke. walking from the room to the breakfast you will smell like smoke. I really wanted to gamble there on a friday night but due to the over whelming smell of smoke my eyes were burning and all of my clothes were destroyed with the smell of smoke so I couldnt gamble there. We had breakfast there everyday and for $5 it was ok. Basic breakfast, some of the food gets dry due to the heat always on and no steam to keep things warm but overall it was fresh. Weekend brunch the price doubles and is a ripoff for $10. They just had some lunch items and Champagne and that is it. Hotel staff was very helpful, I really loved parking in the back next to an entrance, parking lot was clean and easy access. Sometimes the ash trays and trashcans were filled with pizza boxes after the weekends and various doors were held open by a washclith on the floor instead of using a door stop but over all it was ok.

    A paintballer's hidden gem”

Came to vegas for a paintball tournament. A good location a block away from UNLV and about four blocks away from the strip. Staff was very friendly. Rooms are nice and clean. Nice small casino. Room did not have a iron or ironing board. Could use a new shower head for the bathroom.

    Comfortable, nice renovations, clean”

Cleanliness, nice staff, access to restaurants

Honestly, this place was comfortable and quiet. The renovations to the rooms are nice, especially the marble sink, but the actual bathroom area (with toilet and tub) have not been redone, and they could use a little work. There are various entrances into the actual hotel, but if you plan on taking the elevators, make sure you 1) keep an eye out for them since they are not noticeable at all and 2) don't bring too much up at once because they are very small. As for the front desk, well, it doubles as their players club so we were a little confused as to where to check in at first. Other than that, my boyfriend and I had no complaints. The casino itself is small, and jam packed with penny and poker machines. Very bright, too, which is unusual for a casino, but it was nice and comfortable for us since we are not big partiers or gamblers for that matter.

    Good bang for your buck!”

The room, the pricing, the parking

My friend and I took a trip to Vegas and Silver Sevens was the cheapest hotel so we decided to stay there. When you walk in, you get nervous that the rooms are going to be dirty and old but to our surprise it was REALLY nice and super big! The bathroom is questionable but not too bad. We stayed in a room with 2 twin beds and the beds were so big and very, very comfortable. We tried the buffet the first night and it was awful so don't go there. The strip is about a mile or so away but taking a cab was only about $5 each way. I would definitely stay here again. I'm a picky person and it really wasn't bad at all!

    Nice Hotel”

    Cheap and nice

this hotel is like 1 mile away from the flamingo and las vegas blvd intersection but the distance is walking and of course you can take the car and park at any hotel you want. also the room and the service were good. for sure i would go again. a lot of parking space all around of the hotel and different entrances so you can park and take the appropriate entrance and go straight to your room without need to walk all around the hotel and the cazino like some other hotels! it is worth the money for sure.

    Off The Strip. No-frills.”

    Cheap

it's very reasonably priced accommodation in las vegas. the room is relatively huge. the restaurant serves good and cheap buffets. however, the biggest issue with this hotel is the location. it would be perfectly fine if you drive. but if you do not, you might spend quite a bit of time walking to the strip. the good thing is that it has a wonderful convenience store located on ground floor. and there are many good restaurants near to the hotel. hence, food is generally not a problem.

The pool had to shallow ends for my little girls & one was in the shade while we were out there. It's def worth the price.

Every time I stay here, I am very impressed for the cost performance and value. Although rooms are rather old and oudated, rooms were maintained very clean. The most of all, I like their spaciousness. Rooms are sufficient and suited to unwind and just unload the travel fatigue. I alos love their restaurants on site. Extremely good values and foods are excellent for the price. Although this is not a hotel for a romantic gataway, this is one of the best value hotel for business travelors.

    Surprise Value for Money”

    Staff, Staff Staff

The hotel staff was superb! We were able to check in both weeks at 11:30am and get our room. The rooms were clean. The second week we had an airconditioner problem that was fixed immediately. The gift shop had reasonably priced food and the staff there were very nice. The hotel security really impressed me when they checked on our room to see if we were okay because our door was ajar when my roommate went to get coffee. In all my years of travel, that has never happened. As 2 women travelers, that made us feel more secure. The Sterling Spoon was a great place for breakfast and the restaurant was nicely decorated.

Very affordable hotel - don't be put off by name!”

Great food, very reasonably priced food, friendly staff, free shuttle to and from airport and only a brisk 20 minutes walk from the main casino strip.

really enjoyed our stay and all staff were helpful and friendly. food especially was excellent value compared to other venues we ate at while in vegas and very reasonably priced. would recommend this hotel to anyone and would definitely stay there again.

    Hotel with goof value”

Cheap accomodation, great dining deals, free airport transfer

Cheap accomodation off the strip, rooms are decent in size though the loooong and slightly underlit corridors can be a turn off, especially if your room is in an isolated corner. Great dining deals are plenty in this hotel - US$3.99 buffets, Decent $4.99 8oz Steak (Graveyard specials) and more! Free airport transfer - save good money on this one. Cons - Staff were not the most helpful around but I guess not much different from other hotels in Vegas. Walking to the strip takes about 25mins (do not be fooled by the maps!) and best avoided in hot weather.

    Nice rooms, Good location”

Room was nice, 24 hour room service, A little over a mile from the strip.

The room was very nice. The casino reeked of smoke, but what do you expect from a casino. The toilet ran the whole time, but it wasn't that noticeable. Overall this was nice stay, even though the strip was a little over a mile away, I was able to walk to the strip. There's buses all along the way as well as tons of taxis to choose from.

    great hotel”

    free wifi....big rooms,...comfortable beds

this is my 3rd time staying here.....and i will stay again...highly recommended...food or buffet is okay, but you get what you pay for....room is decent, but then again in vegas you are not in the hotel most of the time.
