Kind staff but a bit disorganized and dirty”
We needed a bed to sleep in, and that's exactly what we got. There's a cold bucket shower in the Basic Fan Room. The toilet wasn't flushed when we arrived, and there was a noticeable smell of mothballs or camphor. But the receptionist gave us the hot water for tea - which we used for our bucket shower - so it was alright. Good location on a main street. Loud if you're on the ground floor.
Just the right lodge for backpackers. No luxurious facilities. ”
It's good overall maybe they have to improve the availability of their staff at night. :)
Rooms capsule size! Shower very uncomfy!
They stole from me!”
The room was stuffy, musty and dusty. Upon entering, I immediately regretted booking and paying online. Though it had a large window, I could not leave it open through the night to stay cool because it had no screen. The internet connection is scarcely fast enough to open a browser page even without images. After my stay, I left my bags with them to secure while I went on a two day and one night island hopping tour. Though my bags were in a secure area along with some other bags belonging to other travelers, someone had opened my bag and stolen expensive health supplements. I'll never return.
Average and less”
From the pros: the room was almost clean and there was a balcony facing the yard. Cons: cold water only, if you are a woman with long hair, impossible to properly wash it. The bathroom smelled of mold which quickly got to the entire room. Staff looking annoyed when we asked for anything. Breakfast ok but officially from 7 am, at 7.15 still no trace of any personnel in the kitchen, we had boat tickets for 8 am... This might be El Nido in general, not the Philippines we experienced everywhere else.
Nothing good to say...”
Just out of the town but easily walkable we weren't sure what to expect by the hotel after reading mixed reviews. We selected the hotel as it offered breakfast at a budget price however the old saying of you get what you pay for was apparent here. The room was very hot and humid and the 'fan' was virtually pointless, the shower was cold and bathroom smelt of damp, the bed was closer to a single than a double and the wi-fi was non existent. Overall I was pretty disappointed by the hotel which actually has some potential and could be okay if the owners put some care and attention into it but until then I would avoid.
“If ua have enoughf money stay in a good place not this property””
Boring place not good for relaxing, room are smelling.when u enter the room is like smell of the mold, staff need more training,no umbrella they provide, since elnido is raining u need to bring your own, have a lots of in house lodge to stay in elnido, better than this property, breakfast have only two option, very quite place electricity is not stable, always on and off
Bad smell in the room. Still problems with electricity. Breakfast like fried luncheon meat? Really? Tea bags with mold.
Would not receive mend this place”
I would not recommend this place for many reasons but the three main ones are the room was extremely small, shower in bathroom - the water collected at the door which was awful to step into and then, the roosters right below our room. The front desk staff was not very friendly (told us they were booked for the next day and actually weren't).
Good location. Thought that it would be bad on comments but it was quite nice for the money. Staff were helpful, breakfast was good, few steps to main street, not noisy.
Only cold shower”
The place and location itself was nice, except they don't have a warm shower which isn't that big of a deal:)
Room was small but adequate ”
Room was clean but had bugs as most places do. Location is a good, away from the noice but close enough to walk to town and the beach. Breakfast was good.
Never worked, the staff told.me that the manager took it to his house and he was sleeping (4pm), the other days it just simply didnt work at all!! Internet is very important for us cause we need to make travel arrangements and keep in contact with our business at home. The description said it has Internet service, but we never had access.
Worth the stay at affordable price and near to everything”
If you want to save more time and money you can stay here with good breakfast to dine in. Very helpful owner to assist the van transfer and with early response to our concerns.
very good but without hot water to shower”
Rooms on first floor are very good but shower dont have hot water. Employes are very friendly and ready to help. At lower floor the noise from the road and the smeely room wasnt good.
I will not recommend it to my friends... Walang kuryente...grabe sobrang init, walang ilaw grrr”
We are very disappointed 😞 12 noon pa check out time pero nag alsa balutan kami alas 3 nang madaling araw sa sobrang dilim at iniiiit
Price, Free Breakfast”
The location was just a short walk to the beach but far to the center of the town. Peaceful at night compared to the hostels at the beachfront or at the town center that gets busy at night. Rooms were comfortable and has veranda. Breakfast is included so it was a good value for money.
Value for Money”
We stayed at Silverise for 5 days and I cannot think of staying somewhere else. The location is amazing and just walking distance from the beach and the town proper. the room is okay for sleeping and resting in between tour, since all the tours will last the whole day, it is not advisable to get such an expensive room. Overall our stay was fine no hiccups and the staff and owner were accomodatingly fine. 😊
C- for Silverise Pension ”
I stayed at this establishment for 4 days in February and it was a decent resting spot. The staff was very helpful and aided me in booking tours as well as ferry tickets to get to Coron and vice versa. It was literally a place to rest my head at night while I enjoyed what El Nido had to offer. The location is very convenient, being that it is a 2 minute walk from the beach. The hotel is nothing to die for but it has a balcony, a decent sized bed and tiny bathroom. I chose the fan room and was cool enough at night. No bugs, mosquitos or weird creatures crawling at night which I really appreciated. My main concern was the fact that the plumbing didn't always work at the hotel. During some of the mornings, there was no water available and when you did have water, it would be a cold shower! Also, I noticed some of the other guests complaining about the doors unlocking if one of the neighbouring rooms were slammed shut. This is especially true for rooms located closer to the front desk. When I slammed my door shut, I noticed the room next to me slightly opened because of the impact of the slam. This will leave an easily accessible room available to anyone to probe through your personal belongings. Additionally, forget about wifi if you stay here. I was unable to connect even in the lobby where it was said you would receive the best connection. I wouldn't stay here again for my next visit to El Nido.
