Paradise on the beachfront ”
We had a blast staying at the silvermoon beach & jungle resort!! The staff is amazing and very helpful and friendly trying to organize everything you want and need! The location is a short walk down a steeper road but totally manageable and worth for what you get as the bungalows are directly on a private beach! There is also a restaurant which offers great Thai and western food at a good price! As we stayed during full moon party they also organized all you can eat bbq and Thai food the night off the full moon and the day after for a very affordable price! The all you can eat dinners also make everyone staying at the resort come together to get to know each other and have a drink before heading out to the party! We can only highly recommend staying at this accommodation as it has everything you need to feel great!

I've been on Silvermoon resort for one week and it was a reall nice stay! The staff, especially Nut, is so welcoming and friendly that it's easy to feel home. Everyone helps you with everything! The evenings were always fun, sitting next to a beautiful beach and a often used billiard table ;) The two guys at the bar make a great job aswell. I got two upgrades, and a very fair price for the bungalow/week. Of course, you are next to nature, so if you can't deal with some ants, smaller spiders, geckos or bugs, it's maybe not your first choice - it's not that kind of high class resort. (It's better!;) ) The bungalows are nice, you've got everything you need. It was beautiful to fall asleep with the sound of the ocean or reading in your own hammock.. The shared bathrooms are okay, don't expect something special. Well it would be great, if there would habe been a broom on every bungalow, because of course you always bring sand inside if you come in. So finally: thank you so much for a great last week in Thailand, on koh phangan. I will be back! Hugs! P.s: yes, the hill is steep. But it's a hill. It's nature. What do you expect!? And if you ask someone of the crew, they will bring you the scooter up;)

Beachside getaway ”
Time melts away at the Silvermoon. Their amazing staff provides everything you will ever need. Their cooks are some of the best on the island. They cook amazing Thai food as well as other western favorites. Their pizza and falafels are a welcomed break from Thai cuisine. Heinz and Nhut are amazing hosts. They make you feel like family. We visited during the slow season between full moon parties, and it was a perfect pace for us. We were looking for a relaxing getaway, and that's exactly what we found at the Silvermoon. We will certainly stay her when we come back to Ko Phangan.

SilverMoon ”
SilverMoon is nice. We were upgraded to a room with AC, which we were grateful for. The staff are super nice and the owners kid is adorable! We ate in the restaurant, rented a bike and got our laundry done, all perfectly fine. However the beach it's on isn't that great and hill getting in and out of the place is a pain and makes it hard to leave.

Outstanding service in a peaceful and gorgeous setting”
I stayed for 7 days and would highly recommend SilverMoon. The owners and staff are incredible people that were very kind and helpful. If you want pure relaxation and amazing beach views in a secluded area away from the main road this place is a great choice. Still in a prime location with easy and quick access to other sections of the island.

Cute resort”
We stayed here for 5 days during the full moon party as part of our 40 day honeymoon trip. Rooms are a bit rustic, it reminds me of luxury camping, but the resort itself is very relaxing. We wish the beach was more like a beach and less like a lake, but there's a wall a few meters out that blocks the cooler water from coming in so the water is extremely hot and the sand feels more like clay when you get in the water. During low tide you can walk about 45 mins to Haad Rin pier, which is pretty cool. I wish the pool was a bit clearer, but they use the natural rain water, which is very eco-friendly, so can't really complain. The pool was pretty cool because it's built on a rock and has boulders under the water, plus the water is so much cooler than the beach. The food there was amazing, a little pricey for us since we were used to eating cheap street food, but it's a pain to go elsewhere to eat so it's worth it. They have awesome family meals a few times a week, so definitely try to plan your trip around the Sunday BBQ because it was delicious!! Staff is PHENOMENAL! They really make you feel like family. What we truly loved about this resort was that it was small enough where we easily made friends, but large enough that you can feel like you're the only one on the beach at times! Would definitely return!

beachfront and private”
This is a family run place which I liked. Heinz, his wife and Stewart were all very nice and accomodating. There were also seven puppies there during my stay which did not hurt at all. The Sunday night family dinner/feast was incredible. They were good at recommending things to do and Nuit arranged for us to be picked up for free to go to Haad Rin for massages. She even made us a coffee yogurt mixture to exfoilate before our oil massages. However since you're right on the beach and in the middle of the jungle there were a number of bugs in our room. We upgraded to one of the concrete structures. There were dead ants in our bathroom every day, along with a number of live ones. There was also many mites that we found crawling through a hole in the wall next to the bed. But like I said, youre right on the beach so some bugs are to be expected but perhaps some way to seal up cracks or upgrade some structures would be good. It was recommended for us to walk from Haad Rin back to the bungalows along the beach coast at sunset. It took a leisurely 40 minutes and we saw some incredible sites along the way. All in all if you really dont mind being one with nature, this place is the place to go.

We stayed for 3 nights at the Resort. The bungalows and the bathrooms were basic but definitely ok. The beach and the surroundings were perfect - nearly had the beach for ourselves. The staff was super friendly and helpful and always had time for a friendly chat. We would definitely come again!!

"Homely" hotel!!!”
I really loved staying here as the hotel staff make it your home abroad. I checked in on Wednesday, which also happened to be all you can eat thai food dinner night! Dinner was served on a huge table and everyone sat and ate together which felt amazing! Lovely beach. They also hosted a BBQ before going to the Full Moon party which is another must! The only con I would say is due to the steep driveway it makes it harder to get out of the hotel unless someone drives you up. Or if you are okay to hike up in 35 degrees heat!

Slice of paradise ”
My sister and I stayed here one night (attended the nearby half moon party) it was a beautiful spot, quiet and secluded and we spent the day lounging by the beach. The hosts were wonderful and welcoming, we had a big family-style all you can eat BBQ (I think a regular Sunday-night event?) including fresh seafood, followed by a little pre-party during which we had neon body-painting session in prep for the party. They made everything so easy, even shuttling us to the party and arranged our travel off the island the next day. Also: the home-made coconut ice cream is a MUST-TRY.

Silver moon beach offers great accommodations, located directly in the beach. The staff is friendly and very welcoming. The food at the restaurant is great and affordable! A real sense of being in a local home is felt there.

A (bit noisy) but enjoyable stay right off the beach”
It was a comfortable bungalow with fan stay right off the beachfront. I would have been ideally happy, had I not stayed there on a night that fell upon a party the entire "resort" was participating in, drinking, loud, and migrating from the bar/resort next door to it and back and forth all throughout the night. If you are looking for friends to party with, this is the place to stay! The meal I had was yummy.

This place is in a gorgeous secluded location. Small and friendly, they took really good care of their guests. Its a bit rustic so be prepared for a step just above camping but the dinners, beach, and help from staff make it worth it.
