Hotel at Premium Location”

First class hotel. All good. The bathroom showed some signs of age, but we only noticed because it was the only thing that was not perfect.

Five star in every sense”

a wonderful hotel. location is superb for exploring perugia yet very convenient for buses and trains to nearby towns and the airport. bedroom was large and very comfortable with a magnificent view. staff were very knowledgeable, pleasant and helpful. restaurant is pricey but first class so use for a special dinner one night, not every night. the swimming pool in the basement is fantastic and very welcome after a long day out exploring.

Excellent hotel with stunning views”

The Brufani Palace Hotel is Perugia's top hotel. The rooms are larger than average, very well appointed, with huge and very comfortable beds. Ours had stunning views over the surrounding countryside. The hotel includes a small but very well appointed swimming pool with jacuzzi in the basement, with glass bottom showing remnants of etruscan ruins, very good for relaxation. The food is excellent but expensive. The hotel's position on Perugia's high street and at the edge of the mediaeval centre means there are no steep hills to climb for sightseeing and shopping. The only negative we found was that internet connection is not provided free.

Wonderful hotel, location and service”

This was our second stay at the Brufani and we would stay there again. We enjoy the elegance of the hotel and the beautifully outfitted rooms and suites. Ask to stay in the older front section of the hotel. Only negative is that the beds are quite hard - like the beds in many Italian hotels.

Very comfortable surprise in a mountain town”

We enjoyed the history behind the hotel and Perugia town, especially the swimming pool which incorporated the visible ruins of the Etruscan civilisation. Very central to perugia with great shoppings and local restaurants within walking distance. Staff were a little snooty however.

Wonderful location”

Wonderful location with access to all important places and the best view of the city and the surroundings. The swimming pool in the basement has the Etruscan ruins underneath the glass bottom. The service was good but not the best. Some smaller hotels have better counter clerks.

OLD!”

When I looked at this hotel online the website showed a beautifully appointed room with great views. When we were shown our room it was the exact opposite of the picture. The views were ok but everything else was subpar to say the least. While this hotel is in a great location it is in desperate need of a renovation. The carpet is thread bare on the steps, the shower leaks, holes where hooks should be in the bathroom, worn out furniture. The hotel did end up giving us a better room but it was still old. When you read the history of the hotel it states it underwent a big renovation in 1986! That is over 30 years ago! Some of the staff were quite lovely including the manager Hassan but many were not. They all looked unhappy to be there. When there was a problem with the internet at 11:00 at night they had no one to send to help. The woman at the desk wanted me to bring my computer down to lobby. If they ever truly renovate this place it would be worth coming back to but until then I would stay away.

Bel hôtel classique et de standing”

Nous avons séjourné 2 nuits avec nos enfants dans cet hôtel et nous avons bénéficié pour notre part d'une chambre avec vue, celà vaut la peine de payer le supplément. La chambre de nos enfants n'avait pas de vue mais était spacieuse et confortable. Notre séjour était très bien: personnel attentionné et serviable, petit déjeuner délicieux et chambre très confortables.

Altmodiscjes Grandhotel”

Ein alles Grandhotel. Alles wirklich ein wenig altmodisch aber das ist auch ein Teil des Charmes. Die Lage ist perfekt. Mitten in der Innenstadt. Gegenüber bleibt der Flughafenbus stehen. Und die Rolltreppe zur Unterstadt (scala Rocca Paolina) sind auch gleich da. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich.

Benché l'hotel abbia i suoi anni, conserva comunque un fascino meraviglioso. Però, non fatevi assegnare la stanza 206...vicina ad una porta di servizio del corridoio, ogni qualvolta qualcuno passava, si sentiva rimbombare tutto in stanza.... Bagno dotato di 2 lavandini, ma non usate l'acqua fredda del primo lavandino perché il sibilo che ne fuoriesce è talmente fastidioso e intenso che servirebbero delle cuffie isolanti.... Se non lo usate voi, ma lo usano quelli del piano di sopra il fastidio è identico. Scarsa l'insonorizzazione della stanza.... L'ascensore adiacente alle pareti, si sente benissimo per ogni suo movimento... Che dire... Mi aspettavo qualcosa di più...
