i stayed at sinaran motel for a short stopover on the way from penang to pantai cenang on langkawi. first of all, the map provided by agoda is not correct; i walked to the indicated place but there was nothing, so i had to take a taxi though. but the location of the motel is quite good, some minutes walking from the shopping / restaurant district of kuah, which itself is not very exciting. can't complain about the room which was big and clean and had a good shower inside. can't either complain about the staff which was very friendly. downstairs there is a nice shop where you can get about everything and a few steps away there is a restaurant offering good quality food at very low prices. if i'd stay in kuah again, i would come back to the sinaran motel.

Strategic Location and Reasonable Price”
the stay in sinaran motel is very good and the location is very easy to find with the map provided under the agoda website. cleanliness of room is well maintained. the staff on duty is very helpful in providing information needed. and when i approached them for 1 hr late check-out, they are very friendly to inform that it can be done although the room is going to be occupied that day. overall, the stay in the motel is a very pleasant stay because it's within walking distance to all the favourite shops in kuah town and can easily find restaurant for food. and the night market is nearby too on saturday night. will stay here again when i come here again.

Good price with great location and big room”
Would rate Sinaran Motel as above average for cleanliness and service. The staff is attentive and polite. I stayed in a deluxe room with 2 beds. The room is spacious, well-lit and facing Istana Kondo. The location is great. It's only 5-10min walk to Pekan Kuah. The only cons that I can find is the air-con leak thus I have a flooded room in the morning. I saw baby cockroach running across the room, fyi for those very very particular on cleanliness. Nevertheless, for the price and location, I would definitely stay in this premise again if I were to visit Langkawi.

sinaran motel is a nice clean motel with good sized room and attached toilet / shower. it is in a great location near kuah town centre so it's easy to walk to coffee shops, restaurants, taxi stand and other shops. kuah town is a bit messy and dirty though. there is a convenient shop beside the motel that sells just about everything that you might need!

location of motel is not perfect, but if you plan to buy any day or half day tours (after which you want just relax) then no need to spend on hotels near beach. the tour agent will take and bring you back to hotel after tour. after you can have a rest and walk to kuah town to eat or do shopping (10 min walk - landmark is bayview hotel). if you don't want to walk - ask at reception to call a taxi - price is fixed (approx. 8-10 ringit to jetty ([ferry], 6-10 ringit to kuah town, ringit to cennai beach, - to airport). the motel is renovated recently so the water tubes and showers are new. best motel for those who just need a room to have a rest. if you look for luxury then go for northern part of the island.

hi, me and my friends stayed over at sinaran motel for our langkawi trip. it was a comfortable stay with parking lots, aircon, good room service. it also has wifi and tv. great place. the staff there are pretty nice too. to sidetrack.. the char kuay teow there beside the motel is superb for supper.

hi recently stayed 2 nights at sinaran motel ,all in all enjoyed my stay at this budget motel ,good value for money ,big bed,air con,tv ,clean,no fridge ,no kettle or free water ,slightly out of town but only a 5 minute walk to the centre ,one thing that was a little annoying was the "echo " in the place ,if someone shut a door or someone talked in the corridor sounded loud because of the echo ,having said that i paid 1000bht per night and would stay again at that price,remmember this is a budget motel ,if u want all the frills of a nicehotel dont stay here

Lovely Motel and Service with Smile”
a good motel with large clean and bright rooms. excellent staff. good open air restaurant just outside the motel. it was our second stay and i would definitely recommend it to budget travellers who may be looking for a decent place in langkawi.
