Worst Place we've stayed in Chiang Mai
Sindy Guest House
Easily the WORST place we've stayed in Chiang Mai. Then after following the signed instructions to remove our shoes we found the floor of the halls, stairwell and rooms so FILTHY that our feet were covered in dust and dirt. The bed was dirty too, I don't think they laundered between guests because it looked and smelled like quite a few humans and maybe some BARNYARD ANIMALS had slept there before we arrived. Also, the other 1-2 star guesthouses we've stayed in have had very well placed fans that maintain a comfortable breeze. This place did not and we slept very little in the stuffy hot room with no air movement. I the AM I wanted a cup of coffee before leaving (Chiang Mai has very good coffee) The same desk guy brought me a mug of BROWN LIQUID that tasted like VINEGAR. I returned it to him thinking there must have been an understanding and he immediately insisted I pay him the 20bhat for the un-drank "coffee". We've had really good cheap accommodations in the old city of Chiang Mai EXCEPT this place. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone unless you're such a masochist you want to sleep in a dirty bed and drink vinegar and be constantly hassled for money by a want-to-be thief.

Great guest house
Staff, location, price
It was amazing. The room was very inexpensive, very comfortable, clean, and very well located. The staff is a very friendly guy, and always willing to give you advice. This is one of my favorite places I stayed in my trip to Asia.

Great inexpensive hotel with great location!
The owner Sindee was very nice and helped us out with everything. This is not a nice fancy hotel, but inexpensive if you're looking for a cheaper place to see the town sqare in Chiang Mai.
Stay was great. Sindee was very helpful and we mostly used the place to sleep and shower. Otherwise we were out and about in the city sightseeing.
