Very Good Hotel with Good Amenities & Cleanliness”
I have stayed for 12 days during my stay in Hong Kong. The hotel is very good with a good price. Located on 16th Floor in Chung Kin Mansion which is the prime locale in Tsim Sha Tsui, just a minute distance from Metro Rail, Bus Stop and a 5 Minutes walk from Ferry. This Hotel has Good Staff, Rooms are always clean, equipped with 24 Hours Hot Water and Air Conditioner. Try staying in this Hotel for once and you won't stay anywhere else during your stay.

the best location and best for budget travellers”
for my 3 days stay in Singapore Hostel, what i can say is value for money and best location. tsim sha tsui mrt and I square shopping mall ( for daily groceries need) just across the road, very convenience. Walking distance to ferry terminal and attraction spot. Highly recommend cos is on block A, 1st lift on the left just after the main entrance. check in no more than 5 minutes when arrive around 2pm. Reception staff, Kuldeep kaur Sandy and Jasmine was very friendly. Room space just nice complete with TV, washroom, hair dryer, heater, wifi and aircond. my room come with a window with Nathan road view. room size for me is not an issue as i going out morning and back at late night, just need a room for sleep and shower only. Wifi is super fast. Just to share for the lift , avoid using during night from 10pm to 10.30pm(from my experience), will wait around 15 minutes or more. other time will be less. money changer have a good rate compare to my country. need survey few cos not all the same rates. will back to stay again for next trip .

Singapore Hostel la”
I was actually moved to stay in another hostel (same owner) but the rooms look the same anyway. Location was GREAT! I can just ride airport bus and get off on the 14th stop and walk back a few meters to the hostel. Also, it was easy to commute as the MTR stations (Tsim Sha Tsui and East Tsim Sha Tsui) are down stairs. I would recommend this hostel for those who travel on budget.

Awesome place to stay for backpack travellers”
I would say the location is superb because everything is at walkable distance. There are a lot of eating joints as well as shopping malls. Even the street markets are 10 mins walk from this place. There is also a Korean food street near this place, so if anyone wants to try Korean dishes at Hong Kong then I would recommend staying here coz its very near to the Korean street. The hostel itself is pretty clean with clean sheets and blankets. They also give you free tooth brush hahaha. They also have a common refrigerator and microwave. The staff was also pretty friendly. I would say its a comfy place to stay.

Hong Kong Vacation June 2015”
Everything was okay. The staffs were Filipinas and were very friendly. The rooms were quite small but what would you expect in Hong Kong so for me it's already good! The price was for our stay was relatively cheap and that gave the value for money really good! Free water was provided and it's important since water in HK is expensive. The rooms were also clean.

Recommended for Budget Travels”
The night we arrived at Chungking Mansions was abit scary, because of the people in the area. But I could say that the place was safe because there is CCTV at the elevator and at the corridors of Singapore Hostel. The rooms are quite small, once you enter the room, there is just little space for your luggage. The rooms are clean and well-maintained. It is recommended for back-packers or for budget travellers. The staff are friendly and approachable. Place is need to Tsim Sha Tsui MTR so it's easy to go to attractions.

Transferred to Delta”
We were only informed that we got transferred on the day we arrived, while checking in. Anyways, same owners so no big deal. So this review will be for Delta. 1. Accommodating staff especially Ate Gloria. 24/7 front desk, too. 2. Small rooms but enough space for your luggages under the beds. They clean the rooms everyday, too. There is a pantry where you can place your food in the fridge or reheat your food on the microwave. They have a water dispenser, too, so you can just refill your water bottle everytime you step out. 3. Bathroom has a working water heater, bodywash & tissue. 4. Price is perfect for those travelers on a tight budget and who would rather splurge on food and other stuff. 5. Plenty of places and food to explore right outside Chungking Mansions and very near the MTR and bus stops, too. Would definitely book again if and when I go back to HK.

Great experience in HK”
The room is very small but we expected that because of the review. No space at all all luggages are placed under the bed. Its cheap and its clean. They have room service everyday change all towels ang bedding everyday. Accessible downstairs theres a mini grocery. But the elevator is very small only 2 for the whole building. Theres a lot of indians in the area and the owner I think is also Indian. Its located in chungking mansion 16th floor. If you see money changer and indians it means you are already in chungking mansion. The exchange rate is very high 8.1 so make sure to bring HK money or withdraw at an atm instead its only 6.8 when i used my bdo atm.. It was fun in HK very disciplined and the mtr is very efficient. You can take A21 bus from the airport going to TST..

Great Location, Hotel as Expected, Room Fine”
If you want to know about Chungking Mansions, google it. Yes the lobby area is busy and the lift and corridors are not the best. Though I didn't feel unsafe and never had to wait too long for the lift. It is appropriate for the money paid and the location is excellent. Chungking Mansions is made up of several hostels and from what I could see Singapore Hostel was one of the better ones. The tiling in the hostel and its rooms looked new and clean as was the small but very efficient shower. Of course the room was small but we slept well every night and there were three of us in a triple room. For a solo traveller or a couple just looking for a place to sleep it is fine. My only complaint would be that two of us woke with what appeared to be insect bites that I suspect may have been bed bugs. It wasn't bad and I can't be sure as the beds seemed perfectly clean. If I was to visit Hong Kong again I would definitely stay in the same area and if I wanted to stay in a hostel to save money then Singapore Hostel is as good as any. If I wanted a more luxurious experience I would pay more and stay somewhere else.

Great location, friendly staff, small room”
We travelled in group of 3 for 5 days in middle of December. We'd booked the triple-bed room but when we came they offered us the family double bed room with same price. The room was daily clean, wifi strong, and hot water was quite good although it's too small (all luggages had to be under the beds). It's the on 16th floor (near reception desk) so we just opened windows and no need to use air-conditoner. The staff very helpful and friendly. They also had microwave, refridge and hot-cold drink right outside the room. The most advantage was location, we only walked 5 minutes to approach MRT, bus station was in front of the hostel, 10 minutes walk to Victoria habour and Avenue of star and museums, shopping mall and store all around. The hostel is suitable for travel in small group or couple on budget, not for family. The unpleasant thing was the elevator too slow and small, it took 10-15 minutes staying in queue to wait.

Good location”
The rooms are very small, but I suppose that is the standard size in Hong Kong. The elevator that takes you to the reception and rooms, can be very crowded and slow. There is only one elevator available. If you are not going to spend a lot of time in your room, then this hostel will be fine!

location, staff and convinence ”
The location, without doubts is simply the best. The hostel is located in a business complex and there are many of similar type of hostels all around. The hostel is situated at the highest floor of the building. Taking lift to the floor is the only tough thing as there are so many passengers taking lifts at all times of the day! Otherwise, even with the small size of the room, it comes with toilet and shower, good wifi streaming and microwave oven and fridge is situated outside the room so its as good as any hotels! I enjoyed the stay very much thanks.

Budget Hostel”
The place was nice and clean and the staff are really helpful and accommodating. Being new to the place, they could help you with directions. Although it was hard to find the place when I arrived but the area is accessible and near MTR. We really enjoyed our stay in Hong Kong.

Gd location & price, BUT... (Read on)”
As title goes, this place is perfect if you are looking at gd location, a clean hostel and a tight budget. It is just 5 min walk from tsim tsha sui MTR entrance, opposite a bus stop, and 10-15 min walk to the Avenue of Stars. Hostel seems to be newly renovated and is pretty clean. We are lucky to have free upgrade from twin room to family room because it happens to be available. Even for family room, walking space in room is limited. As with most rooms in HK, space is usually tight & this is normal. There is relatively gd basic facility in room - free wifi, water heater, aircon, fan, tv. However, do be aware the hostel is just a few units in the whole building which host many other hostels/guest houses. Security is an issue as the ground floor is always filled with suspicious characters. There is security cameras and security guards around. High advise to come here with at least a male friend. Waiting for the lift takes 5-10 min most of the time. Sometimes we decided to take the stairs (which is very poorly maintained) as waiting for the lift takes way too long. Pls note that there are many Jenny Biscuits resellers just beside the building. Do not buy from them unless you are ok with paying more without having to queue. The real Jenny Bakery is just round the corner! Do Google for the real store address! Lastly, there is a 24 hr bus that will take you to airport. Its the N21 bus at the stop opposite the building, and cost merely 33HKD! Very worth it compared to taking Airport express train which is 240HKD. The customer svc at the MTR station told us there is no bus available after midnight, and we must take the train, but this is NOT TRUE. The bus journey takes abt 1.5 hrs after midnight, which is surprisingly longer than daytime, as more pple seems to board it at night.

Good stay worth the price you pay”
Great location if you don't mind the busy street in front of the hotel and easy access to MTR station and shopping centres. It is located at Nathan Road and you can even see the queue from the hotel entrance for the famous Jenny's bakery for their butter cookies. The staff was very helpful specially the chinese guy at the reception and the housekeeping ladies.

4 nights for couple travellers”
Not suitable for those tourists who are 1st-time visit Hong Kong. It is budget stay, not really value for money. Just the location is good and nothing pros can be mentioned about.

An OK hotel,”
The hotel is an area of a converted block of apartments, which unless you want to walk 8 flights of stairs, you may need to wait a fairly long time for the lifts (check-in on the 16th floor). The room booking was for me and three friends, but as it happens my friends were ill and I had the room to myself. It was lucky, as having three of us in the family room ( advertised as suitable for upto 4 people) would have been very cramped. Receptionist lady was not helpful, when I told her my safe was not locking she told me 'Don't worry about it,' and would not send someone to check. Thankfully I figured it out myself. TV did not work, and bathroom was very small. On the up the location was excellent, a minutes walk from the subway, and right near to some great Hong Kong attractions. And the WiFi was free and good. Overall would not use again.
