"Having read mixed reviews we were a bit wary as to what to expect but being on a tight budget we took a chance. We had only booked two nights as we were attending a local wedding near Singaraja and the location of Pop! was perfect. When we arrived the immediate reaction was "yes, the view is excellent!", then we were greeted by very friendly, upbeat staff. Some reviewers have mentioned poor English and yes it could be a touch difficult, however, this is Indonesia where English is not the first language! Patience is the key and maybe Google Translate if necessary, or......learn the Indonesian language. Honestly, the staff were very helpful and friendly, a real credit to the management. We had booked two rooms (one for a couple and one for a single) both with sea view. Beautiful! The window didn't open but that's the style of building, it was still a great view from the rooms (303 & 305). The room itself was clean, some minor wear and tear could be found but it didn't make it unpleasant. The bed was very comfortable, the toilet/shower is a bit tricky but no real issues. Unfortunately there's no real space for clothes but most places like this have the same problem. The pool area is sensational and very enjoyable for relaxing. The beach gets a lot of rubbish on it but we watched the staff get out and do some cleaning, really it's an ongoing problem all over Bali to have rubbish everywhere, not just here. Education and a better understanding of environment to everyone is the key, not blaming Pop! The staff did a great job. We ended up staying another night at Pop! and would certainly stay again. I'm Australian, my partner is Indonesian and my mum Scottish.....we all enjoyed our stay at Pop hotel Singaraja. It's a budget price in a brilliant location and a short walk to the pier for good food (especially if you don't like the breakfast snack.....I enjoyed the nasi uduk but I love local food). Thank you Pop! we had a great time and your staff were very friendly. "

"We travelled trough the hole island of bali and had a 3 day stay at the tiing in tejakula. This has been by far the best and most relaxing days in bali. The hole stuff is so super friendly and nice. We we‘re stunned by the beautiful architecture and location of the tiing. It‘s so super quiet and relaxing, a real joy of pleasure in contrast of the busy streets of ubud, seminyak or canggu. Time stands still in tejakula. So few tourists, fishermans directly in front of the tiing, no loud planes, no busy streets, just like paradise. The breakfast and the dinner had been outstanding. The spa was also super nice and relaxing (balinese massage with the sound of the waves in the background). We definitely recommend the tiing and will come back if we come to bali again. Even thinking about to do our wedding at the tiing because we we‘re so thrilled. "

"We had a wonderful 1 night stay and wished we could stay longer. We had the huge master bedroom bungalow ( 2 floors) of 150 m2 with "almost" a private pool. Other guests were using the other pool. Nice sundeck with sea view. Not many rooms, so it was quiet and the jungle garden well maintained gives privacy to each bungalow. The only regret was the bathroom access outside the room... The massage were very good. The best was the young manager Suma, a oerfect English and ver professional. He allowed us a late checkout as we came back from a morning trekking after noon. They also have a yoga shala area for groups and Suma is also a yoga teacher. It's not the most luxury in Bali but it's definitely a great value for money and a great place to stay away from touristic areas between Lovina and Amed"

"This is as exotic as Bali can get. Instagram heaven for pictures. Breakfast was included and big portions, dinner you have to order in advance for 90 000 IDR. Wifi was working okay for whatsapp and Facebook. Open outdoor bathroom with amazing view over rice fields while you're having shower. Ask for upper floor room to have the best view. Cooling fan was good and strong. No windows but bamboo shades which make it more exotic. Spring pool is amazing and clean and I had a swim there. Staff is friendly and speak English. We were so happy that we booked and stayed additional night. We will definitely stay again. No issues. Highly recomended. 5/5"
