Great place to stay in Kuching. Cheap, clean and very comfortable. The common area has a very nice feel to relax after a day exploring and the rooftop bar is great for a wind down drink. The staff are also very friendly and helpful with many options of tours and suggestions of things to do. I would recommend Singghasana for travellers.

We loved our week at Singghasana! The staff is so helpful and welcoming. The building has a variety of accommodation types, from dorm rooms to en-suite bathroom double rooms. The dorm room surround a common room where coffee and tea are always available. There is a rooftop bar, too. If you are going to Kuching to see some of the parks and wild critters, the owner can set you up. We will definitely stay at Singgahsana the next time we are in Kuching.

The staff are extremely helpful! The beds are comfortable and The rooms were spotlessly clean! One had to move around barefoot, Which is generally the norm everywhere! Must say that I was not overly thrilled at having to use the toilet and showers barefoot, however that’s just a minor storm in a teacup! Coffee and tea available 24/7 ... Looking forward to coming back again! Thank you Staff!

as a solo traveler, its very worth it. i booked a hostel which quite cheap & the location is superb. staff also is very nice. Staff name Rose helped to instruct me for the late check in & give the passcode the day I checked in without i need to remind them. thank you so much... room is clean though there are some dust as it seems like the dorm is booked seldomly

Stay here when you're on a budget. Location is great, staffs are friendly and helpful. Being so long in the business, they're the best option for anything you ever needed while in Kuching. Thumbs up!!

Value for money, awesome location”
It's located right at the heart of the city centre, within walking distance to many local attractions, food & shops. Was staying in the female only dorm this time as I travel alone, turns out I am the only one in the dorm, so I had the whole room for myself for a night. I even extended my stay for another day as my flight back was at the night time. At least I had a place to rest & drop my bags while waiting for my flight. There is no towels & toiletries provided for dorm stay, so do bring your own. And the locker in the dorm needs a padlock too, so bring one yourself too. The heater in the public shower was hard to control. At first the water was extremely hot and I had to let it run for a little until I can get a comfortable temperature for the water. The building is just beside a main road so it gets little noisy at night when some inconsiderate motorcyclists decided to speed loudly in the middle of the night. Overall I'm happy with my stay. I'll definitely come back again.

This is the second time we stayed here. The location is in the middle of the town and nearby the river. Easy access to various place of interests in Kuching, and walking distance to Waterfront, Padang Merdeka, River Cruise etc. The room is clean, the staff are helpful, the ambiance is simple and nice. Recommended.

Came here for Kuching marathon and booked for 2 single beds & 1 bunked beds room at 3rd floor. Bed quality is good and very comfortable. Air-con is cool enough. The only not good is we can hear the noise when outside roadside car/motorcycle passed by, or people talk so loud midnight. Bathroom clean and dry. Very strategic location to access the nearby attractions, and short walking distance to the Padang Merdeka (marathon starting points). Overall satisfied and recommended.

Hotel confirmed the family is located in ground floor, how ever what the hotel did not shared is, you have to climb up one floor then walk till the end and go down two floors in order to reach the so called “ground floor family room!”

Facilities need more improvement”
I booked a family ensuite room for 4 person, the room only have ONE socket , no enough for us to charge handphone. Somemore the bedstead block the socket. The bathroom very hot like in sauna room ,no exhaust fan, inside got a small window, but it close all the time. The toilet can not flush. The location of the hotel is very good. All the famous food is around there.
