Overall good stay”
Great property, nice facilities etc and our room was very spacious. Great value for money. There is a cool walking street with lots of shops and restaurants about a 10 min walk away, also a short walk to the golden dragon. Good for one or two night stay. Only negative - we pre ordered a taxi with reception as we had to catch a boat in the morning (you have to be on time otherwise they leave without you, even if you’ve already paid) and we felt the communication was poor as the man on reception took our money but when we got into taxi after about ten minutes we realised we were being taken to the airport and not the Boat Pier, as previously confirmed! Luckily we made it by the skin of our teeth, but we could have been out of pocket £60 if we didn’t realise and tell the taxi driver he was going the wrong way! Apart from that, hotel was great.
I’ve stayed at this hotel several times and it never disappoints. It is well located, in walking distance from most everything in town; however, it’s on a quieter street than most. Breakfasts are good and in a unique space. The spa is the best I’ve ever experienced and it’s 50% off when staying here. I don’t have anything negative to say about this hotel.
Value for money”
Pros: close to old Phuket town and a few other nice tourist destinations Friendly staff, clean fresh looking rooms Cons: not much option for vegetarians in the breakfast menu, Also no press was provided in the room which is assumed to be a basic need
Lovely and very supportive staff and cute room”
We booked the Deluxe Room, but unfortunately the air-con was broken. They gave us the new room upgraded to Executive Suite room. We are truly appreciated for their help. Staff is very helpful to help us finding the new room. Actually, we want to stay in the original room. It's such a lovely cute room
Good location & comfortable beds. Breakfast was a little boring but not a big issue since we dine out more.
100% worth it”
The staff are super friendly! Well every local we've met in Phuket was so this should be a given. The hotel looks really lovely. Our favorite part is the glass house restaurant which is just absolutely beautiful. The rooms are clean and spacious. The location is close to the pier also so anywhere we want to go, we're not super tired when we get there which is very important as I'm travelling with two old people, my mom and dad. Everyone is warm and helpful. I would recommend this to everyone I know who's planning on traveling to Phuket.
Something happened on the first night.”
We arrived at the hotel nearly midnight feeling sooo exhausted after 22 hr journey. After checking in, having a shower and getting ready for bed, It's nearly 1 in the morning. I woke up at 5 am and found out that my iPhone X went missing. I walked down to the reception not even having to ask. The lady at the reception asked if I was looking for the phone. She kept it for me. The reason that she didn't call when she found the phone was left there because she could see us way too exhausted. I could tell from her eyes that she's not a bad person and she's telling me the truth. It was my fault :( not being careful enough. But it really made me feel like going back and stay there again. The rooms we had were clean. Staff again were very helpful. You can ask them where to eat, how to get there etc. Breakfast was good. Would have been much nicer if they had a swimming pool for a quick dip during the day.
the room was super big, comfortable and very clean, the only drawback was their liquid body wash n shampoo did'nt smell so good. opposite hotel is the bus stop to the airport which only cost 100baht, if u were to book a cab, it will cost you around 650baht. if u r looking for a happening area, then you may want to stay at patong area, coz there is not much to do at phuket town.
Great location, very nice room
Sino House Hotel was mistaken by me to be along another road. On checking, I noticed there is another Sino Imperial Hotel is located not too far away. Comparing the two, I found that Sino House is located in a quiet area and the area more spacious. Checking in was fast and we allocated to a room at the 2nd storey near the lift. The room was huge with facilities for simple cooking. Even if we don't cook, the sink with forks and spoons makes our stay homely. We had a good night's sleep. We came for the Vegetarian Festival. The upside is that the hotel is far away from the celebrations. On the eve of the final day of the festival, devotees at Pearl Hotel were throwing fire crackers for a great send-off. The noise and smoke were terrible, but we at Sino House merely heard "pop-pop" of firecrackers. The downside is of course we missed the excitement of the night and going to Bang Neow Temple and Jui Tui needs a little more leg-work which may be a good thing for better health.
What a surprise :)”
We unfortunately only stayed the one night. I really liked the hotel. I loved the decor of the lobby, with the oriental woodcraft and the koi pond. The rooms were very spacious and very clean. The staff were very nice and friendly, going above and beyond in helping me print some documents when their systems were not working. I loved the breakfast, there was a great choice of thai and western foods, as well as a great egg station. Also if you have the time they have a spa joining the hotel. Definitely worth the time as it is a true oasis. Loved every moment of my time whilst staying there, and will definitely fit it into any travels i have in Phuket in the future.
Old world charm. Peaceful and relaxing!”
This place is the best. Great location great staff, comfortable rooms, best spa!!
Great location in Phuket Old Town ”
Top five reasons to book here: Clean spacious rooms Walking distance to Monkey Hill, historic district, restaurants and shopping Kind and helpful staff Free mini bar and bottled water Safe building with 24 hour desk staff and elevator
Big comfy bed”
Only stayed here for 1 night as we were in transit to Krabi from Phuket. This hotel is right opposite a 7-eleven/Family mart if you need to buy some bare essentials. The room we had was clean and spacious. The bed was a huge king size bed and was very comfy. The bathroom was also decently sized and clean. TV could probably do with some cable TV/Google chromecast/Netflix. Breakfast was so/so (typical Thai standard American breakfast - the best part was probably the fresh on-the-spot cooked eggs however you like). Couldn't really hear the noise from the road so I guess the hotel is kinda quiet (but it was Christmas eve at 11pm when we arrived). All in all, it was a decent value for money stay.
Rooms big and comfortable”
Quiet location in Phuket town, 15 minute walk to Robinsons in one direction and same in other direction to old part of town. Excellent rooms and beautiful glass house restaurant at the front of building with great local food. Good selection for buffet breakfast.
Phuket Town has little ambiance.”
I didn't like Phuket Town. Sino House was like an oasis in a boring concrete non-discript city. I could hide-away in a quiet comfortable room. If you have to be in Phuket Town I would highly recommend Sino House. The second night I went to the Siam Nimarta show. The Hotel staff arranged everything and it was one of the best things I even have done in Thailand. The front desk made all the difference. There was no restaurant, bar or pool - no extras, though breakfast was included, and it was good.
spacious rooms with touch of luxury”
We had pleasant stay there, we stayed there for only one night as a transit before took a ferry to Koh Phi Phi. Located in the heart of Phuket Town, so the town is within walking distance. Really love the cleanliness and cool interior of the hotel. Oh and our room has balcony, cool!
Great Hotel with great good things around”
this is one of the good hotel that i ever know in center of the city (phuket town). the room it self, good bed, pillow, bath room, but maybe, not that cold air conditioner is a bit problem for me. it did cold, but only for a while when i just check in into that room. and also cold in the afternoon, but not in the middle of the night. they also gave us free wi-fi in their lobby *it would be great if we can connect that wi-fi fully signal in our room :p* . very very friendly receptionist . good breakfast . and also in front of this hotel, there's a little bar that we can play billiard, and not far from this hotel also they have a great thai food restaurant, its name is rayya restaurant . it really near from this hotel, you just have to walk a bit to happiness centre (like a park) and you can find rayya next to the bridge after that park . enjoy phuket
Good hotel in town”
This hotel is in good area and location in town. You might go eating at Raya restaurant in 5 minutes and at night you go to popular club Gor tor mor pub easy. The price of this hotel is appropriated. However, it is difficute to go to beaches. You need to go by car. I suggest you to rent a car.
Very good hotel”
There are not many reasons to pass through Puket Town but waiting a connection to beaches or business. By the way if you have a reason to do it, stop at this hotel, is absolutely at highre level than its price. You will receive four stars service at low money charging. Rooms are spacious, well designed, clean and provided of any tools. Water and coffee/tea set are complimentary. Staff is kind and helpful. Rooms have a/c and big windows. Breakfast buffet was good. I have travelled many places in Thai, and Sino House is one of the best, at small cost. I'm very satisfied.
