    A decent old school hotel”

This is one of these typical hotels built 30-50 years ago that you can still find throughout the whole Thailand. Most of them have a special character but a bit worn. Unlike them, this one is not worn and still reserves the charm of an old school thai hotel. The rooms are partly renovated, very clean, tidy and cosy. It's very pleasant to stay there. As the hotel is old, its walls are quite thick, so the rooms don't get warm during the daytime and the temperature inside is optimal. A big con is that they don't feature public wi-fi (though there is at least one wi-fi router, on the first floor). Altogether, it's a very good option to stay in Ranong.

    absolutely fine”

    late check in, location, price

Everything was good, we arrive at night and wake up receptionist for check in - no problem, we had what we paid for for 100%. But you should imagine what you can receive for that price and don't be shocked, if you in budget - this hotel very good option and room design and furniture just wow.

    It was OK”

    same as above great things

The desk lady did not know that the electronic copy of booking conformation is sufficient for recieving the room. She insisted that Her hotel does not have any online booking, then refused to look at My confirmation on My laptop screen, then said it has to be printed, so I had to spend almost 2 hours finding a printer in Ranong when I was very hot and tired, then She was not ablre to deny My booking any more! Please inform the staff so they understand fully, OK?

    Ok”

Location is good. Attached bathroom, price is 195 THB, i think cheapest hotel in the city. Possibility to access cheap transport for the pier, 15 THB. Need to have printed booking, not possible to leave the hotel after midnight. Air in the room is average, i would say not safe.

    Cheap

I was one night ant this hotel and I didn t like at all. It s this kind of crapy place of which they don t have taken care in many many time. Probably 15 years ago was nice but now... Lonely, i didn t see almost anyone in the hotel, stuff was correct but not nice and room was dirty because of the oldest stuff . On the other hand has a ventilator, matress was ok and it s cheap and well located, to be honest.

    Incredibly unpleasant girl at reception”

After a 6 hour+ bus journey I was met with stunningly rude behaviour. Unfriendly as I have seen. Horrible girl. Everything else was fine, considering the price. Very cheap, i was on a veryquick overnight stop, so it was a bed and that was fine. But she would completely stop me from going back there as i have to overnight there again in a few days. Will pay more to not see her.

    Cheap place”

The personal are not nice. They make you print the booking for 20baht otherwise you can not go in your room. They don't give you toilet paper. Is dirty. But ty give you water and is well located to stay for 1 night. Look like an Indian hotel. Works for a night of you loose the ferry. There are markets really near and many place to eat. Is a safe hotel.

    Good value for budget travellers”

Really cheap accomodation, bed and shower were good. Old style that you have to print the voucher from agoda, otherwise you have to pay cash. At the day really easy to print next to the guesthouse, with a friendly, good talking english guy who helped us out to call for the ferrytimes to koh chang. When they expect the print in the evening it could be a problem. In the evening friendly staff at the reception, at the day some language problems with the lady...

    Worst hotel ever”

The receptionist didn't speak any english, didn't know about our online booking - and asked us to pay again. The lobby is really stinky. The hotel doesn't offer wifi. The room was dirty, there was only one towel and one really small stinky blanket in a room for two. On top you hear the traffic at night. Worst hotel experience ever!

The receptionist was not like how other guests have mentioned. Friendly and helpful though they did ask for a printed copy of booking confirmation. The room is really horrible, especially the sheet and towns. They are probably unwashed for very very long time and have been used by many different people. I could smell it. It was also extremely noisy because there are not even windows you can close.
