New Hotel Next to PUSRI Head Office”
I fell disatissfied because they claim 4 stars hotel but not really, there is no swimming pool and fitnes center. When I aksed Receptionist,I realized that Agoda's rate is more expensive than local rate. However Sintesa Peninsula Hotel is a new hotel but the location is far from city center, next to PUSRI head office. Sintesa Peninsula hotel is good for bussines trip but not really a 4 stars hotel. They prepare good loacal foods with reasonable price. In short, Sintesa Peninsula I may consider as an ordinary 3 stars hotel.

the hotel is centrally located in the town of palembang. accessibility is good in or out of town. near to shopping centres and the international airport is just about 20 mins drive. transportation is easily acquired anytime throughout the day.

Good hotel in the heart of Palembang”
Hotel is not new, but it has maintained its facilities well. We got upgraded to a corner room and the view was excellent. Hotel location is central and easy to get anywhere in the city. Room space was good and the best thing about the this hotel is the F&B. Food was excellent and credit to the chef for making those delicious food.

This hotel was recommended by friends living in the city and it was our first time to stay there. Their published rates were very expensive but I was able to find a reasonable price of USD $41 online with Agoda. Although all the staff were very friendly the hotel was very lacking: signs posted on the 5th floor clearly stated NO SMOKING, however, the aroma of smoke was easily detected as we walked off the elevator. We also smelled smoke coming through the ventilation in our room. The sheets were clean enough but sadly had holes and other blemishes. The bathroom facility was adequate with a bathtub and shower. However, the two towels provided were very small and the "hot" water was only lukewarm. The menu for their restaurant looked tempting until we found out all the Western options weren't available... even Tom Yum soup which the waiter had recommended! Classic Palembang "PemPek" was on the menu but also not available. Very disappointing! The restaurant only took cash and wouldn't charge the expense to the room which seemed very strange. Since we had to check out of the hotel at 0430 to catch an early flight we were offered a boxed breakfast. Again, sadly the contents were sweet breads stuffed in the box which were not appetizing or wrapped for freshness. Should we return to Palembang and need to stay overnight I will look at other options for a hotel.

a brand new hotel still work in progress”
stayed here 4 nites in 2 room 4 adults and a child 4 yrs.service is good,clean and staff curteous and friendly and helpful. we had probelm with the water heater and tv reception in the room attended speedily and satisfactiorilly. however we had problem getting taxi service.not many taxi metered available . so this hotel is not suitable for guests who have to depend on taxi service for transport.better to get a hotel in the city centre as plenty of trishaws available.in the city centre but not this hotel which is away from the city.

The front office staff took quite a long time ”
The room itself was new, clean, spacious, good plumbing. But during the 16 hours of my stay atleast there were four door bell interuptions without my asking...may be some stupid guest who did not know his room number or some hotel staff who wanted to make up room etc early morning 6.30 am. There was no ''do not disturb'' sign for display on the door outside, no menu card kept in the room for room service, an empty mini bar. The fron office desk mismanged my credit card atleast 4 times slashing and cancelling and asking many questions. Tired!

4 stars hotel? I don’t think so”
When I came I was given a room which lock didn’t work so i have to wait for 30 mins to get another room. Seems like the room I got was just recently used so they had to clean it up but there were some piece of trash in front of the room. Disgusting. The floor was made of wood and the condition wasn’t good. They could’ve covered it with carpet but they didn’t. Some part of the curtain was ripped. The sheets were a bit dirty with stains here and there. The pillow covers were in bad condition. I ordered a room service which usually could be paid when I’m about to check out.. but no.. they keep calling me to pay it. Like chill.. When you think things couldn’t get any worse.. it did. The breakfast was awful. The porridge was served cold. The buffet menu was so unappetizing. The menu looked like it was prepared by someone who have just learned to cook. 4 stars hotel? Yeah. Not really.

Budget hotel near Pusri ”
We booked hotel just an hour before check in due to emergency. We moved from other Guest House at Pusri compound. Hotel just OK for one night stay.
