    Excellent LOCATION & Big HOTEL”
Location + Safe in Lobby +
Location: in center & close mini mbus st.( 5-10 min/10B) + intercity bus st. + bus to Airport & shops. But, the problem is thc town is v. calm to live in not to visit & no attractions but, you can go every day to one famous beach using bus (Patong+(kata&Karon) but, come back before sunset otherwise using expensive Taxi (You can reserve directly in beach but, maybe it is v. more expensive. Hotel: is big + hav free safe in lobby (but, losting key 2000THB! ) + cheap Net WiFi &lobby + Staff in morning is more efficient & calm than evenning. Room: is good w. big window but there is no sat & only local channels.

Excellent value, nice room for the price”
Great location, easy to walk throughout Old Town
my room was large and clean, although old with some stains on the carpet and minor appearance issues like a badly deteriorating mirror that blocked your reflection and a wall lamp hanging by only one screw. many years ago this was probably somewhat of a luxury hotel. the price however, was great i think it was less than 400 baht/night. i had no problems there at all. the only negative for me was the lack of wireless internet in the room. there is internet available on several lobby computers for a fee but i prefer to have free wifi in my room to use my own laptop. for such a large hotel i was surprised they did not offer wifi. i would have stayed longer if they had it. the hotel is in easy walking distance of phuket towns main attractions, market, etc. i would definately recommend this hotel as long as you don't need internet in your room.

    a joke”
this place is a joke, everyday was a constant battle with the front desk staff about money first off we booked for 450 baht and they tried to day we owed them 650 baht, then when I went to leave the lady at the front desk (at night) said we owed her 450 more baht even though I had paid earlier for that day and started to yell at me for refusing to pay twice, then she demanded for me to leave the property. the rooms are old and smell of mold I would definitely not recommend staying here.

    no redeeming qualities”
The only positive thing I can say about this hotel is thankfully it was cheap enough that I didn't feel bad turning around and walking back out after checking in. AC smelled like mold, staff seemed miserable and unhappy, carpets and furniture were ancient and covered in stains. Simply put this hotel was disgusting and just had a bad vibe about it.

Want you feel like in old times? Welcome...”
Location is great near by main bus station, quiet and big rooms
We take this hotel because is in the center of Phuket town, few steps from market, clock tower, bus station, old-town etc. And - it´s really cheap. My first feel was, that we come back many years before and we can feel how at 70´s or 80´s can be luxury staying at this place :) Some furniture is pretty old (we have very cool music-table with night light - wau), and view from our room was directly to wall and windows of neighboring house - you can jump to their balcony, it was really close. But room was really big, bed too - big and soft, refrigerator, AC, big bathroom. You will have many feelings about good old times of this hotel. Maybe it´s like from film Grandhotel Budapest :) For few nights and for experience we can recommended.

    It's been said before”
The place needs a serious cash injection and renovation. There's no tv channels in English No internet in rooms Floor finishes are expensive but the corridor carpets are disgusting This time there are positives: Housekeeping do a good job overall but no attention to detail. The towels and laundry are very clean & look almost new? There's plenty that could be done to make improvements in this hotel that do not cost money. Just one example: Electrical sockets, telephone sockets hanging off the walls. Unsightly, unnecessary and very unsafe! If there's no investment then clean, clean, clean, make sure everything works and safety is paramount!

Refrigerator, helpful staff and quiet surrounding
Stayed over one night before going Rassada Pier to Phi Phi Island. The Sinthavee Hotel, Phuket now offers accommodation at its 9-storey facilities, located in the heart of the Phuket Town. The room is furnished and completed with central air-conditioning, wall-to-wall carpeting, refrigerators, private bathrooms with a bathub and shower but the wall is dirty and furnitures are old, plus the central air con is not cold enough.. A nice spacious lobby, an lounge where guests can enjoy a hot or cold drink restaurants but what a waste i didn't see it open except the small corner at the lobby. Reception's staff are nice and helpful, call a cab to the pier for me. It's only like 15 mins to reach there. Do try the food 2 doors away, serving nice pizza and thai dishes, many locals visit the place to. If they know how to do a uplift for the hotel, this place attract more guest not just just transit guest. Overall my one night stay is fine, but wifi was really bad.

    What can I say today?”
Bed linen clean, wifi good most of the time, view from window
I've reviewed this hotel 3 or 4 times at least now. My budget is tight and I am very poor, would I stay here if my circumstances were reversed? I try and see us all for what we are and we all have good days and bad days. It doesn't always feel like the friendliest of places but I think that only matters to me. The stay here has been ok overall, no complaints!

Great for one night while in transit”
Clean sheets, clean towels, comfortable pillows
This was a one-night stay on our way to PhiPhi island. The staff were courteous, and the room, while old and outdated, was more than OK for a true budget hotel. Next to a pharmacy that opens at 7.30am so you can stock up on cheap meds and mosquito sprays before heading on. Sheets and towels were clean, and the bed and pillows comfortable. Convenience store and few expat bars are a short 5 minute walk away. Phuket Airport Tip: Metered Taxi cost 525 Baht to this motel (+100 Baht Airport Taxi Fee Paid at Taxi Stand) which was more than the 600 Baht the taxi drivers were offering once outside of the building. Don't buy taxi service from vendors inside the airport building - you'll pay 2x more. Go outside and barter, or take a metered taxi (walk 50meters to right once you exit the building).

It looked grand from reception, big reception, and the room grew on me, a little
The stay was OK. I walked around the derelict parts of it with dameged ceilings and a dead mose on the floor and so that part was creepy. The reception girl was quite unfriendly at first, perhaps just a bit off'ish, just ready to jump in your face if you had an issue. I seen her smile one day! Not at me though.they say ring reception on '0' but when I picked the phone up it had no cables, 7 days later a cable was put in on my day of leaving. This hotel has never been updated! ”
    Great location,price and staff
The staff were very friendly, spoke great english and helped us with all our tourist needs. The hotel needs to be updated and maintained, but the rooms are bargain priced. If you want a quiet, semi clean place to stay that is full of character - this is a good place to start. But expect dirty carpeted floors, torn curtains, and very old mattresses. The sheets and towels were clean. It's not the luxurious hotel it used to be, but hey, who doesn't love to save a couple bucks on a cheap hotel?

Great location and value for money”
    Great location.
The location is great as it is only a 5 to 10 minutes walk to the local bus terminal at Ranong Road. I used the local buses to travel to the beaches in Phuket. Sinthavee Hotel offers value for money. It has the basic hotel facilities although they are a bit old : comfortable bed, air-con, refrigerator, TV with cables, hot shower and bathtub. The TV reception was not good in my room but it is not important as the TV programmes were not interesting anyway. Highly recommended to those travelers who want to be close to the bus terminal in Ranong Road and old part of Phuket Town such as Krabi Road. There are a few dinning options close the hotel. The hotel facilities are old but it really offers value for money

Check-in was easy enough, although check-out took longer than usual, waiting for housekeeping to check the room, but this is a small issue. Love its central location. good-equipped room
Stayed 5 nights. Located in the center of town. A room with bathtub, refrigerator, bed-lamp, a little musty, though. The women at reception do not speak English, greetings in Thai, either. They should learn the attitude of the Seven-Eleven staffs. I did not use the resutaurant.I put 3 in the rating. Agoda should not set the item of Food/Dining compulsory.
