Wonderful and brand new hotel in Siquijor. Best place for total relaxing and sunny hours on your personal terrace or alongside the pool. Ideal for couples or single travelers (I would not suggest it to family with kids) Very friendly and helpful staff, they even offer great massage service (eventhough you won't find any advertising for that) Two small downsides: not enough sunloungers next to the pool (first come first serve should not be the attitude of such an amazing resort), cleanliness in the bathroom ( espacially the sink area) is improvable... Anyway... this is the best place to stay on siquijor if you expect more thn just a bed and a balcony! ;-) keep it goin' !

We stayed there for almost a week and it was the best we could wish, nice and helpful staff, motorbike for rent for reasonable price, location close to the Siquijor town, swimming pool - even though it has sea water inside, it was clean and pleasant to swim there, but the slide didn't work. Also the food was really tasty, we liked chicken curry and pizza, delicious. Totally recommend all kind of travelers to stay there, they have dormitory for budget travelers, beach view rooms for couples and also big rooms for families.

Very fantastic, great hotel in Siquijor! Comfortable beds, nice working aircon, nice working hot showers, TV with many channels, good wifi even in room, great, pleasant staff, and very near to the beach! The beach is a very nice, white sand beach in Siquijor! Near the Rainbow Lodge restaurant for lunch and dinners! They serve very good burgers over there! Will recommend and will stay here again!

Our couple trip was just spontaneous and we didn't booked accommodation ahead of time, it just depends on what Agoda is suggesting. We were so glad to have bump into James Homestay as it is really a home away from home, near the port of Siquijor and staff are friendly and accommodating. They also offer Motorcycle for Rent for 300.00, since the whole province of Siquijor can be toured using the Motorcycle. Would really recommend the place to my friends.

We came over without a lot of advance planning, so this seemed a pretty good choice for the cost. However, the location is not so good. The only decent food option is up the hill at a much more expensive hotel, so it would cost a lot to go there for all your meals. Going into town is about a 20 minute ride in. If you use this hotel, you almost surely want to rent a motorbike in town first. While the hotel can arrange one, the rates in town are better. The hotel does serve breakfast, nothing special at all. The rooms have a rather nice view of the ocean, which is about 2 km away, no way are you going to walk to it. The room we had was pretty minimal, no real furniture other than the bed, 1 lounge chair for the porch, and a couple of small tables. No closet or real shelving. Live out of your suitcase laying on the floor. Sewage gas backs up into the CR. Family staffing the place is nice. Must ride your bike to anywhere, nothing in the area of any excitement or use to you.

I strongly recommend this hotel if you stay in Siquijor for 2 reasons: 1- The location: it is about 15 minutes by working from Siquijor Port. So from there it is very easy to travel around others island if you stay long in Philippines. You have an hospital just behind the hotel and market just near by the port. In fact everyone on the Island knows about Das Traum Guest House. 2- The value for money is very very interesting. that's true it is not a resort, but you will be installed in a secure place, clean and the building looking like a colonial one is just beautiful. The picture on the web site is unfair and doesn't reveal the real beauty of the Guest House. By the way that's true there are some elements could be improved like the connectivity. They don't lie, they is not Wi-Fi so it's a little frustrate when you need to post your beautiful picture. They could also propose service like breakfast or more details about the touristic places or boat time.... Nevertheless with my friend, we spent a good time there. Thanks.

Calunsag Residence is located in a great spot where its not too far away from the main town and not too close. The owner is friendly as well as her staffs and willing to help and accommodate the best way possible. The house is neat and clean. You can cook and use anything in the kitchen ... Ref, Oven, Utensils etc. Would recommend staying here if you wanna relax and enjoy your vacation.
