The room was amazingly quiet for a central Bangkok room and the sound proofing between rooms and floors is excellent.

On my many trips to Bangkok, we stayed in various hotels and areas. The Siri Sathorn was by far the best of both worlds. The location was lovely, clean and hip with 5 star hotels (Sukhothai and Bayan Tree close by), the amazing Lumphini Park and high class condos and residences. But the feel was a quietly quaint neighborhood not a commercial strip. There were a number of really good restaurants within 5 minute walk - both Thai and foreign. It was a short walk to both the MRT and the BTS trains, which takes you almost anywhere in Bangkok. The Sala Daeng stop on the BTS has a fabulous mall, which I used to view on my walks to Bangkok Christian Hospital for my annual check-up but never ventured into it until this trip. The basement has wonderful supermarket surrounded by many quality restaurants and the upper floors has anything that you would need. The two bedroom apartment at the Siri Sathorn was a joy to the entire family; my daughters had their own room and bathroom with large tub and they never wanted to leave it. There was a full open kitchen and counter separating the living room and 3 televisions in the place. Now you could have all that and still have bad service but without exaggeration - the service from the Concierge, front desk, restaurant personnel and housekeeping was the best we ever had in any hotel.
I plan to return to Siri Sathorn before I leave Thailand and will make it a base for future visits to Bangkok. Quiet location, but easy walk to shopping, nightlife, Saladaeng Station and beautiful Lumpini Park. You can get a free shuttle too. All staff were very attentive, helpful and delightful. When my adaptor caused a fuse to blow, repairmen arrived within a couple of minutes of reporting it to recception and it was fixed immediately .Buffet breakfast and lunch were great. Gym is well equipped. But the highlight for me was my deluxe room, which was very spacious and comfortable and had a kitchenette as well. I got an excellent deal, which made it extremely good value for money. I visited friends in a much pricier Bangkok hotel and came away feeling I had made the better choice. I will certainly recommend Siri Sathorn to other visitors to Bangkok.
Great Retreat from the Giant City bustle”
Second stay at Sir Sathorn, and we were very very happy with the facility, the room was sparkling clean and fully equipped ( a Jr. Suite with Kitchen). The Door man remembered us from last March's visit and is one of the nicest well mannered young man I have met in thailand.... I visit here ever few months usually staying in Chiangmai city. But when in BKK, this is my hotel. Location so near Silom business banking district, up scale neighborhood 5 minutes to BTS station Saladeang on Silom Line. 2 train stops to Siam Center, the classiest most complete commercial shopping malls in the world --- also up scale . Central Bkk very very intense and busy, but you return to Siri Sathorn Hotel is the perfect calming clean quiet option that is minutes from anything you would want to do in BKK.. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED from a fussy middle aged American Farang with money ( Siri Sathorn is a 5 star bargain).
Dear Mr. Benjamin, Firstly allow me to thank you for your recent stay at Siri Sathorn Hotel as your residence while in Bangkok. We are very much appreciated also you taking time to leave us with these great comments on our room, location and staff members especially Door man. We are truly glad that you enjoyed your time here. Over all we look forward to welcoming you back to stay with us in the future. Sincerely yours, Maneerat Krutharoj (Ms.) Assistant Front Office Manager
Enjoyable & relaxing with clean & spacious rooms”
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Siri Sathorn Hotel. After busy days in Bangkok it was a relief to return to this hotel and relax in the evening. We had a 2 bedroom apartment and we found this to be perfect for our family with clean rooms and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We didn't know the Silom area very well, but we found good places to eat on the same street as Siri Sathorn including a small market and the Front Page restaurant which both also provide food for takeaway. The next time we travel to Bangkok we will try and stay here again.
Siri Sathorn Pleasure”
Our stay at the Siri Sathorn Hotel was fantastic, its location was relatively central to all outings in Bangkok, close to sky train etc. The room we had was (junior suite) was fantastic plenty of room the spread out rather than being cooped up in a small room. The building was in very good condition, and maintained. All areas of the hotel were absolutely spotless and all the staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. Breakfast buffet was great. I would definitely recommend staying here, just made the end of our travels through Asia totally relaxing and stress free. My wife and I loved it would also be great for families.
A haven of tranquility in the chaos of Bangkok”
I enjoyed my first stay at the Siri Sathorn Hotel for a number of reasons. The hotel is located in the heart of the Silom/Sathorn district making it the perfect base for shoppers, foodies and party animals. Yet, due to the quiet surroundings you would think the Silom and Sathorn Roads were a million miles away. Two things impressed me most; the attention to detail and efficiency of my room attendant, and the fact that the breakfast voucher could instead be used for lunch or dinner. As it was, I ended up missing breakfast one morning but was still able to use my voucher for the lunch buffet. In my opinion, this is a practice many establishments would be wise to adopt. Overall, I had a very enjoyable stay that won't be my last.
The Best place to stay in Bangkok”
We booked this at the last moment. Agoda gave us a great deal for the three of us - a two bedroom apartment with breakfast included. The furnishings in the apartments are exquisite, modern, well set out. Huge kitchen which we didn't require because the food from room service is so reasonably priced. Great location - about 10 minutes walk to the Skytrain. The breakfasts were great, they also have an all-you-can-eat buffet Mon-Fri which offered a lot of variety and was very cheap. The best thing about this place, though, is the staff. Every one of them treated all of their customers like royalty. There was no effort spared for any request. There were no issues with late check-out. I've stayed in a lot of places in Bangkok, but from now on I intend to book the Siri Sathorn for each return trip. Highly recommended. Thank you so much, to the wonderful staff, who made our stay at the end of our long holiday so memorable and enjoyable.
Great Value For The Money”
My wife and I had an enjoyable stay at the Siri Sathorn. We had a clean comfortable junior suite, and enjoyed the interaction with the friendly attentive staff. The buffet breakfast is good with lots of variety whether you want western bacon and eggs or traditional thai. The sushi restaurant 2 doors down is very good as we enjoyed dinner their the first night but the Teppanyaki restaurant at the hotel across the street at Bandara suites was terrible. Overall a great experience at Siri Sathorn but don't really consider it a full fledged 5 star hotel. Not in the same league as Oriental Residence, The Hansar or the OkKura Prestige but then again a fraction of the cost as well,as mentioned terrific value for the money.
Efficient and gracious suite hotel”
I have the habit of always renting an apartment for a month in cities I love to visit regularly but this is the first time I tried one within an executive suite hotel context. My experience at Siri Sathorn was first rate. Thai hospitality can always be counted on but here one sensed an extra degree of training to deal with foreign travelers. If the decor is more functional than charming, the human touch was always personal and gracious. And over time I even came to appreciate the perfect functionality of my suite. If you don't need paintings on the wall but a kitchen which has everything you need, a laundry service that is ideal, a large desk area and capacious closets, than this is your place. And for getting around there's not a better location in Bangkok.
100% would stay again and recommend everyone!!”
We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite - We love everything about the suite - the room is huge and we got a great view of the city and the stunning MahaNakhon building! The hotel is very strategically located within ~5 minutes walk to the nearest BTS station. One small issue (but worth mentioning!) is that we had requested for one of the rooms with 2 single beds to be combined into a Queen bed (requested and acknowledged by Janta, the booking personnel) . However, upon checking-in, the arrangement was not fulfilled. This stayed the same throughout our stay although we sent another email request to combine the beds. Nonetheless, we still loved our stay at Siri Sathorn and would recommend anyone wanting Great value for money accommodation (big rooms in proportion to the rate) in Bangkok!!
I was in your Siri Sathorn Hotel between 1 June and 4 June while I was there I was helped by Phanomw”
I was in your Siri Sathorn Hotel between 1 June and 4 June while I was there I was helped by Phanomwan Chanaphas. he was fantastic and helped me keep the Bracelet and friendly answered all my questions about the Bracelet. Because of Phanomwan Chanaphas and his high quality and professional customer service, I'll definitely be coming back to your hotel for traveling Bangkok in the future and also introduce all my friends for the best hotel here. Big room, close to Park, MRT, and shopping, and they did our dishes!”
I had a great 5 night stay at Siri Sathorn with my wife and 2 kids (2.5 & 0.5 years). The room is very large, including a full kitchen, nice sitting area (we used the couch as a bed for the 2.5 y/o), and tons of closet space. Tons of room for the money, and a fantastic value. The location was close to Lumpini park, although the sidewalks on that street were borderline un-walkable. Also very close to many restaurants and food stands in Silom (much better sidewalks on this street). The room was clean enough, but not spotless. There were a few marks on the floor and the wall, and a bit of dust around the place, but everything was perfectly sanitary, and there were no strange smells or anything. Staff and service were fantastic. The front desk and bellhop were very helpful and courteous, and the room makeup crew even did our dishes when we made food in the kitchen! We were not expecting that. Facilities- Overall the facilities were nice. The only thing we weren't impressed with was the pool. It was very deep with maybe 3 square meters of pool shallow enough to walk in. It was difficult to take my son in there, since I had to hold onto him and the walkable area was so small. Also the steps are coarse and easy to scrape your knee or elbow on. Additionally, the kids play area was underwhelming. It was basically a teeter totter and a bouncy duck to ride on, that seemed like it might fall right over if you bounced too hard. We had the breakfast 1 morning instead of including it in our room rate. It was a fine breakfast, with a cook making omelets to order, fresh fruit and meat, and Thai options. There were a lot of cheaper alternatives in the area (with better coffee), so we were happy that we didn't pay for the breakfast for the entire stay. The room service was pretty tasty Thai food, and not that much more than heading out for some street food. I will definitely stay here again if I go to Bangkok.
I stay there every trip to BKK.”
I stay at the Siri Sathorn every time I go to BKK (3-4 times a year). The price is low for what you get: an apartment-sized room, a helpful staff and a central location near both mass transit lines. Food is ok. Breakfast has a wide range of choices but the quality is just ok. Still the staff there is eager to help and will make you a fresh espresso if you ask. The bed is very comfortable and noise is never an issue.the decor is modern. It could use some touching up but it's more than fine. I guess I think 5 stars means the very best in town. I would give Siri Sathorn 4-plus stars. As I said, I stay there every time I go to BKK. The sushi restaurant next door is very good.
Excellent, but expensive”
In one word a great hotel. When you come in to the hotel you will find an oasis of friendliness. A excellently furnished lobby (modern) and an excellent staff. Especially the terrace suites are really great. Separated bedroom and living room with a fully equipped kitchen. Very good located with nice restaurants and Bangkok's night life in walking distance. The only thing is the price of the suites, .... when you compare with other hotels in the neighborhood, ...... The Siri Sathorn Hotel is quite expensive.
Big room, nice staff, low price, ”
Spent a week at Siri Sathorn. Had a splendid stay. Huge room with living, dining and bed areas. Lots of storage space. Great view out of wall of windows. Shuttle to transit & shopping. Lots of great restaurants nearby. On quiet soi off Rama IV/Sathorn. Lumphini Park a couple of blocks away. Hearty breakfast with good coffee. And friendly helpful staff. I will be back. I wouldn't give many hotels 5 stars (Peninsula, Mandarin Oriental, Four Seasons) but I'd absolutely give Siri Sathorn 4 strong stars. Without hesitation.
Quiet location, clean, and helpful staff”
I stayed at Siri Sathorn for one week. The deluxe suite was perfect for me as a solo male traveler. I appreciated the quiet nights sleep I got each night especially if you request a room on one of the higher floors. I ate at the restaurant every morning. It was nice to have someone cook eggs for you. The dining are is very nice with a view of the pool and garden. I used the gym and also attended a free yoga class as well. The spa was nice but too expensive. You can get quality spa treatments and massage for much cheaper in the same neighborhood. I often asked the staff for sightseeing advice and they always understood what where I wanted to go and wrote down the name of the place in Thai so I could give that to the driver just in case he didn't understand where I wanted to go. There are many cheap places nearby to grab lunch as this hotel is in the business district where the streets are full of office workers going to and fro. The BTS skytrain is about 10-15 minute walk as is the underground metro. I enjoyed taking the motorbike taxi because traffic was very bad in the area, especially due to the protests which were blocking much of Silom Road in the Sala Daeng area. If you are by yourself the motorbike taxi is the way to go. And it is a lot of fun, though it can be a little scary, so hold on tight and ask he he has a helmet if you want to take a long trip, which I did once, to the Grand Palace. About 20minutes by motorbike. In all, I would stay here again if I got a good price.
Great Hotel with great service !”
we checked in after midnight. the room we booked has no bath tub(the website showed a bath tub). the reception told us to stay the first night & next morning will check with sales to see if there are rooms available. less than ten minutes later, she called and told us she will move us to another room with bath tub on the same floor. plus, it turned out to be a bigger room with two bedrooms. we accepted that gratefully. the room also has a fully-furnish kitchenette with cooking hobs and basic equipment. bedrooms are clean, beds soft and king-sized. the cafe's breakfast spread was healthy with both thai and western choices available. coffee was great! the hotel's location at saladaeng was away from the main silom hustle and bustle.... it's easily reached by the complimentary shuttle bus services (about 5 minutes). a slow walk through some expensive and chic private apartments will take about 15 minutes, right into the heart of silom road. night markets (closed every monday evenings) abound, flanked by shopping malls, restaurants, office towers..... so shopping and food are within easy reach. don't forget the massage shops, offer cheap and great massages including foot reflexology and head and shoulders. don't miss this activity while staying at the siri sathorn. getting to the hotel from the airport is a cinch - a short 30 minutes taxi ride through two highway tollgates (pay around baht80 for these two tolls). also a great place to get connected to the rest of inner bangkok. highly recommended for travelers who like modern living with extras like a good-class gym, swimming pool, good food and nice finishing touches and services.
This is a fantastic hotel that I would highly recommend!”
The rooms are fabulous with a bedroom and full kitchen (we didn't use it). I always complain about the lighting in hotels but this was really good. The staff are absolutely, totally lovely - the level of service is amazing - so helpful. I just can't commend the staff enough - what a pleasure! The pool is great - so nice to cool down after Bangkok heat! Oh, breakfast: out of this world! I don't usually supply reviews like this but Siri Sathorn totally earned it.
My second home in Bangkok”
This is our fourth stay in Siri Sathorn. Whenever we plan our Bangkok trip, we would book Siri Sathorn without hesitation or consideration for other accommodation. This is our second home in Bangkok. We love this hotel and their friendly helpful staff. We'll be back! Siri Sathorn!
Had a lovely stay at Siri Sathorn and could have stayed much longer. The apartments are modern, clean, well equipped and quiet. Bed was the most comfortable bed on our trip! The onsite restaurant was great- really good buffet breakfast. Room service was good value. Location was really good, shops and food markets within an easy walk. Seemed to be a business crowd whilst we were staying. Hotel staff were a class act, clearly well trained, very personable and one staff member that we had spoken to had previously worked on cruise liners. So yes, well versed in hospitality and customer service. We had a great tip for an Indian restaurant around the corner from reception staff. There is a great onsite spa- Seven Eden. Fitness centre looked amazing, although we didn't use it. Loved the warm towels supplied by the pool.
