I've stayed at Siri Suvan for about a week when I was traveling in Bangkok, it was absolutely a great experience and pleasant staying there. People at Siri Suvan are so so nice and they always got me exciting coming back to the hostel after a long day of traveling also they were very kind enough to keep my luggages for days after staying there, I would definitely stay there again when I go back to Bangkok in the future too see them! Besides the lovely staff, the location of Siri Suvan is great when using all kinds of transportation like taxi, tuk tuk, river boats, and even bus, very easy to access when you are mainly traveling around Khao San, temples and grand palace but it's not the best when you focus on Siam/city area tho. Neat and comfortable place, the interior has nice vintage vibe but still cozy, and the restaurant down stairs has some amazing foods at reasonable prices that it is good to have breakfast to start the day after a good sleep! Only things to keep in mind are that you will need to share toilets and showers that are outside of the rooms but it's rare that anybody else is using and the rooms aren't very soundproof so...yeah. These are all I gotta say and I absolutely recommend you to stay here, I need to say Siri Suvan literally made me love Bangkok. Thank you so much Siri Suvan for giving me such a nice experience, hope to stay again :)

Nice and quiet spot off khaosan road”
Stayed at siri suvan at the end of my trip! Great location on soi rambuttri, all shops, restaurants, bars etc. just outside the door and in walking distance! The busy khaosan road is also just a short walk away! Also great if you want to head to chatuchak market on the weekend as the busstop is just around the corner. Room was super clean and so were the shared facilities! The guesthouse is very small, there are just a few rooms which makes you feel at home! Staff was very helpful and welcoming!

Mostly good”
Stayed here for a night with a group of friends and we had a great night. The room and toilet are clean and the area is not as noisy to be compared to Khao San road. The staffs are also very helpful. The guest house is located at Soi Rambuttri (have to cross the main road from Khao San road). We had trouble finding the guest house as Google Map located another guest house which has the similar name. When we reached the guest house, we thought hey, it is not really that far from Khao San road (5-10 minutes walk). The guest house is located above the restaurant called Siri Suvan. The room is so cozy, we wouldn't mind coming back here again.

Best Guesthouse near Khaosan Road! ”
We love this guesthouse!!! Location top and in comparison with other hotels very quiet for Khaosan Road. Very clean and comfy. Loved the design of the rooms and the bathroom. Even the English of the staff is not the best, they always helped and cared about us very good. Additionally, we forgot a barcelet in one of the showers and they found it as we asked, and want to send it us home. If we go to Bangkok in future, we defenetely will choose this house a second time. Highly recommended!

Quieter area but still no sleep”
Siri Suvan is a basic hostel in the back of the same named restaurant in the less busy Soi Ramburttri in the main tourist area around khao san road. The staff was very friendly and they helped us to find our ways to temples and railway stations and always told us a cheaper option than tuktuk or cabs. The room, toilets and showers where pretty basic and a bit run down but ok. The worse points were the pretty hard and uncomfortable matraces and the fact that the room (nr. 2, ground level) had four windows, but we couldn't open any of them and most of the daylight didn't reach the room because of closed shutters. But all these points didn't bother us as much. The point that did make us pretty angry, was that we barely got any sleep because of some really annoying, loud and vibrating machine or what ever it was.. right behind the thin wall next to our bed. We tried earplugs which usually work just fine for us, but they didn't help much because of the vibration. So no recommendation, sorry.

Pleasant stay”
The staff was very helpful, we Could leave baggage in the back room until check-in. They also helped us navigate to bus station and recommended the right ticket for boat transport. They have Great offer of drinks. Room was quite, with no mosquitos and Great air conditioning. We got also a towel and soap, shower Offered also hot water. Great position near khao san road and all bars and Great street food right outside the guest House. We had a pleasant stay, our first time in Bangkok.

Good but don't negociate rates on the spot ! ”
Not exactly knowing what our plans were once in Bangkok after 23 hours flight with a 9 month old, we only booked for 1 night. The next day we decided to stay 2 more days and thought we could just bargain for the same price per night (or better) since we were already there. Unfortunately, they wanted us to pay 900bth (we reserved a room with AC, 1 king bed + 1 twin on Agoda!). They told us that special was not available anymore. So we went back on line to agoda.com and low and behold, we could reserve the exact room at exactly the same price. Besides this little annoying situation, we still ended up renting the room for one more day each day for a total of 5 days (always at the same price!). However, they usually are supposed to change the towels and make up the room every 3 days but this never happened. And since the room wasn't made up, we actually had to bring down our own garbage after a few days. We ended up eating elsewhere after the 1st day because the food, although good, wasn't the cheapest on the street especially because there are so many great food vendors for almost nothing! Breakfast, water, beer was double the price from everywhere else. There was a lack of toilet paper in both bathrooms and had to get a roll myself but I think most places around in Bangkok lack toilet paper! If you need to leave super early or arrive very late, be sure to notify the staff because everything is locked up for the night. Also there is a terrace just up the stairs that would be awesome, if only there wasn't the kitty litter box that smelled and if there was appropriate furniture inviting the guest to lounge around. To be honest we would go back there to sleep and but eat & drink somewhere else.

We love this little guesthouse. We have stayed in many places around here and this place is by far our favourite in this price range. Good air con, friendly staff, comfortable beds, clean rooms and bathroom as well as a great location. Great value for money. Definetly a great choice for backpackers in Bangkok.

Excellent ”
My wife & I stayed for 5 days. We had a good sized room with double bed & air con. Our aircon was not great, but they gave us a powerful fan too which was ideal. The staff are friendly & they offer a very good laundry service at a competitive rate. It’s right near the Khao San road action, but you don’t get the noise. I thought it was perfect. Showers/ toilets are right near your room & are well maintained. Very good value for money. I will recommend & stay again if we come back to bangkok.

Couple for 2 nights”
Located on a good street for access to most things in the area. Walls are very thin so it's a lottery if you get a quiet night as you'll feel every rock of the bed if your neighbour has company (something I thought management was supposed to regulate - paid worker or late night success or not!). Showers were clean although the toilet doors need fixing, one was off the rails and the other had no lock. All in all a reasonable stay but the air con struggles to cool the room as it isn't well sealed against the outside as there are slight gaps on the wall panels. Solve with a floor fan maybe? Would probably stay again as it was reasonably priced for what it is.

Great hospitality ”
It did get a little noisy in the morning but staff was very helpful, one female in the family woke very late to let us in bc we arrived in Bangkok very late. It was also very clean and beds were comfy. The only awkward part was the bathroom was a little far from the room and was shared with the family.

Best hotel Where we have stayed in Bangkok”
We spent 10 days in Bangkok and changed many times hostels. But this one, the only one without private bathroom we have test is definitely the best one. It smells good, it's very clean, the staff is nice and the restaurant quite cheap ! TOTALLY RECOMMEND IT !

cozy hotel in the middle of khaosan”
was great...despite the room has no bathroom inside I found the place to be really comfortable and homy. I really thought I was at home. AC and fan in the room, nice food in the restaurant and really nice staff. Maybe the price could be cheaper for a room that has no bathroom inside but excellent location.

Lovely place but Lacking room amenities”
The staff were super friendly and the location is prime on a quiet street in the heart of the backpacker central of Bangkok. Was a little disappointed with the room - the wifi didn't work most of the time, the beds were ancient and squeaky and there wasn't a tv despite one advertised with our reservation. Definitely an affordable barebones option. Nice deck to sit on and enjoy a Bangkok evening!

Friendly staff, good for one night”
Good: Friendly staff, helping me to booking to another city. Great location to look around. Even though it is located in khaosan Rd. It's not noisy. Bad: I saw hundreds of ants in the shower room. Lots of moskitos so I used a spray.
