This has been our favorite budget stay in Chiang Rai. The beds were softer than some 4 star hotels in the area! We traveled with our 10 month old and the room was big enough for him to play and sleep while we had our own space. We will definitely stay again!

Rooms look pretty new, quite clean, equipped with additional sofa, nice for staying with 1 or 2 smaller children. No breakfast available, but there's a nice family restaurant in the neighbouring building which opens at 6 a.m. Location is a bit remote, 2-3 kilometers from the city center. A space for improvement - staff almost unable to speak English.

The frugal traveler has found a gem in Chiang Rai”
This newly constructed hotel is in a quiet section of Chiang Rai with of convenient restaurants in close proximity, and a 7/11 & Big C Department Store within walking distance. I would suggest getting the Uber or Grap app. to acquire a cheap ride anywhere in Chiang Rai ie. White Temple etc. Rooms were under 25USD WHICH MADE IT A PLUS PLUS FOR ME. Big bang for the buck!

Location is near bigc and central. Very clean hotel, I always have itchy body when sleep on hotel bed. But this hotel done a good job. Big spacious room with tip top refrigerator that freeze my beer. will stay again if I come back Chiang Rai.

Short notice booking as I was passing through Chiang Rai. Upon arrival I was greeted and settled in quickly. The room was spotless and tidy. Local services such as laundry and convenience stores explained. After a short rest on my bed I was ready to explore. Will definitely book this again as the value for money was great.

Overall facility is very nice. Compare with price and what you get is very valuable place to stay over 1-2 nights in Chiang Rai. Location is not that good but if you have a car / motorcycle, no any issues.

First Time at Sirimunta Hotel Chiang Rai Suite & Residence”
With the impression of the name and discount price, you may feel this is an extremely great deal. This hotel is more like a service apartment on 3 story building without an elevator. You will need to have a car to get there. The room itself quite big and look clean, nice flat screen tv, internet, hot water, and a cool refrigerator. It is located in the deep soi (small road) it quite a distance to walk from the main road. There is a convenient store nearby. We found a little cockroach running on the floor when we get in the room, on the second day a fly and some mosquitoes inside the room, which is not on the first day, assumed the mate let them in while cleaning to room. If you got a car, this hotel gives good value, overall I am happy for the price I paid.

Good hotel, suboptimal location, minor irritations”
I arrived on short notice and was warmly welcomed. Staff even agreed to show me two rooms and check if aircon was working well (very important for me) before I confirmed my Agoda booking. Thanks very much for that! :-) I had a spacious room with queen-size bed, sofa, writing desk and even a kitchenette. I was irritated though that there was just a water kettle and coffee mugs, but no minimal equipment like plates, spoons, forks, microwave. So what is the kitchen for if I cannot eat or warm up food there? I bought food outside at nearby street shops, then asked for plate, soup bowl and cutlery at reception, which I got without any problems. But I would have expected to find that in the kitchen. I cannot say anything about breakfast because am not hungry in the morning and thus I booked without breakfast. The room was tidy, the bathroom small, but functional. I had to get Grab Car/Bike to go downtown for sightseeing, location is not in the city centre as advertised.
