The bathroom was the best part, it had a in-ground jacuzzi and a separate area for the shower and dual sinks.

Relaxing and unforgettable stay.”
We stayed at the Siripanna Villa Resort & Spa Chiangmai in August 2013 and we chose this resort based on a high recommendation by by sister - it didn't disappoint. On arrival we were greeted warmly by the reception staff who offered cool towels and refreshing iced-tea. Service from the staff were great and everyone were very friendly. We particularly liked the ambiance of the hotel as it made us forget that we are in a city and felt more like we were in country-side Thailand, especially the rice field and spa area section of the hotel. Our room is beautifully appointed and generous in size. The super-king bed is comfortable and is ample room for my wife and 19-months old daughter. Food at the hotel was surprisingly good and cost the same as a decent restaurant in Bangkok. We had room service twice and dined at the restaurant once (not including the buffet breakfast) when we got lazy - not once were we disappointed. The hotel also offers shuttle service to various attractions throughout the day which we took advantage of. Overall I would rate this hotel highly and would stay there again when we return to Chiangmai for a holiday.
siripanna villa resort & spa chiangmai really impressed my wife and i. the rooms were very spacious and amazingly clean and well decorated. the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming when we arrived and continued to impress us during our stay. if you are looking for a great resort to stay at in chiang mai stop looking. the breakfast and lunch buffet were great. during out stay they had a lunch buffet promotion on for around per person. you can't beat that. usually my wife will go out to eat when staying at nicer resorts due to the increased prices however we ate lunch both days at the hotel because it was so cheap and delicious.
Beautiful Hotel in a Peaceful and Serene Setting”
We stayed at Siripanna in May 2011 for 6 magical nights. We had just spent 5 days in Phuket where I had contracted the flu and was extremely air sick on the flight in Chiang Mai. Considering how unwell I felt, Siripanna couldn't have been easier from the second we walked into the absolutely stunning foyer in the traditional Lana style, to the the easy check in, to the lovely room with beautiful and comfortable bed, shower supplies, flat screen tv and linen. It took me a day to get over my flu, but lounging around the room, enjoying the views from the balcony, eating at the lovely restaurant, and wandering around the amazing Siripanna property rejuvenated me to no end. The hotel sits on a working rice paddy and all of the Thai flora and fauna are labelled beautifully so you can learn about the horticulture as you wander around the grounds. The pool, although not huge, works in so well with the resort, that we barely missed the ocean views that we had in Phuket (although not the ocean breezes!) The free Tuk Tuk to the night markets was fantastic, and if you missed it, the lovely Siripanna staff were always on hand to call a Tuk Tuk (which arrived within 5 minutes). Unlike some reviews, we never had a problem with Tuk Tuk drivers not knowing where the hotel was, and prices varied from 50 baht to 100 baht. Do not let a Tuk Tuk driver convince you that a drive back from the night market will cost you 300 Baht. We had one of the drivers try that with me after a lovely driver had taken us to the market for 70 Baht. :) The 39 Baht lunch is crazy amazing! And the drinks and mocktails are out of this world! We loved Chiang Mai more than every other place we stayed in Thailand, and would definately return to Siripanna. It felt comfortable and peaceful. A home away from home! Thank you Siripanna and all of the lovely staff for such an outstanding stay!
Beautiful Resort. Highly recommended.”
we have just returned from 2 weeks travelling through asia. the siripanna villa resort was by far the best hotel that we stayed in. we had 4 nights there and i could have moved in permanently. the breakfasts were beautiful, as was a dinner meal too. the pool was very private and inviting. our room was fantastic - we loved every aspect. beautiful artwork and furnishings. the bed was comfortable and really big. lovely pillows too. landscaping throughout the resort was perfect. we were really impressed during the day as well as how beautiful it was lit up at night. we used their free shuttle three times. it was very appreciated. the staff were by far the most friendliest and professional out of any hotel we have ever stayed in while being in asia. nothing was ever a problem and they genuinely cared about us and our welfare. they really wanted to please. it was sad to say goodbye to them. we are planning to return to chiang mai next year, so will definitely stay at the siripanna villa resort.
will stay again”
Our stay in the Siripanna Villa was perfect getaway and base for theme parks in Chiang Mai. The staffs are exceptional despite seeing them early morning until late evening. Kept up their polite and helpful manner. The free scheduled shuttle to and fro central Chiang Mai has been great despite taxi and tuk tuk fares being relatively low. Nice to get something for free and not to be bargaining over fares without knowledge of thai. The free shuttle makes staying in tall buildings asof central hotel unattractive. This was a pleasant surprise as I was not aware of the free shuttle right up to time of check in. The resort is perfect for staying in too especially after a day of touring around theme parks. Perfect lapping pool which is beautifully designed. Sitting by the pool side makes us felt like we are definitely on holiday. Buffet breakfast is just right with inclusive barista coffee. Buffet lunch was value for money with selection of ready made food and freshly prepared asian food. The room was spacious and led to a balcony by a concrete fish pond. Secluded and quiet. King bed was amazing and nothing beats a turn down service with a plate of fruits. I did not have any spa treatment but I can see having one will make this the perfect retreat despite not being by a beach. Certainly, it will be my choice of stay if I visit Chiang Mai again.
Beautiful grounds; good service; far from town”
the siripanna is a beautiful hotel but, as some reviewers have noted, has some kinks to work out. pros: - grounds: the hotel and grounds truly are pretty. even though the hotel is near the chiang mai rail station, you wouldn't know it. - food: the restaurant's food is yummy and breakfast is great. waffles, dim sum, bacon crisped to deliciousness, etc. excellent shots of diced fruit and juice! - staff: incredibly friendly and helpful. cons: - not in the city. hard to flag the hotel for this since you should know this when making your reservation. that said, they have complimentary one-way shuttle service into the city during the day (warorot market) and night (night bazaar), and tuk-tuks back are only 100 baht. - rice paddy: you can harvest rice used in their meals, which my wife thought would be a fun activity and was part of the reason we chose to stay. it's smaller than we believed, and they charge 500 baht for the privilege to work in the field - so we did not participate. - at times feels understaffed. we had to call 3 times once for room service since the phone just rang and rang. the front desk staff also drove the shuttle into town. - food: to build on the previous point, the room service menu is quite limited. also, the thai food is quite pricey. i picked club sandwiches and a great nicoise salad from the hotel and saved the thai food for in town at 1/4 the price. - spa is pricey: again, can't flag the hotel for this since most hotel spas are pricey; just go into town like we did. note: we wanted to walk around the old city so we took the shuttle one day to warorot, thinking we'd walk from there. shuttle dropped us off in a shady part of town - we should have taken a tuk-tuk instead. in short - be sure you know what you want from your stay in chiang mai before choosing the siripanna. if you do stay here, though, you will not be disappointed.
Beautiful Northern Thailand location, great servic”
We had a wonderful stay in Siripanna Villa Resort and Spa. Despite some haze in Northern Thailand, the Siripanna is a beautiful and comfortable location. The room was very large, long and had a balcony. The pool was tasteful and well maintained. The front desk staff was so helpful with everything and even were excellent Thai language teachers. We would stay at Siripanna again next time we are in Chiang Mai.
Beautiful hotel with outstanding customer service”
From the time we arrived at Siripanna we were treated like royalty. The staff at this hotel go above and beyond to make sure their guests are comfortable and happy. Their English is good and they are always willing to help you out with recommendations for sightseeing, tours etc. They offer a complimentary shuttle to central Chiang Mai at various times throughout the day. On a few occasions we planned to go in to town at times which were different to the scheduled times and the staff were more than willing to make arrangements for us on the free shuttle. Our room was furnished beautifully and the bed was huge and SO comfortable! We had our own little patio with a pond at the back which was lovely too. Breakfasts were wonderful and there was plenty of variety. The lunch buffets are a must! At 189Baht per person we were blown away by the variety of western and Thai foods on offer. We also ate at the hotel for the Friday night BBQ evening which was superb with many types of meats and seafoods to choose from. The pool area was beautiful and there were always enough loungers available. Every evening from 4-6 there are 2 for 1 cocktails and free canapes which are served at the pool. We stayed at the hotel for six nights and were made to feel so welcome and valued throughout the stay. When we left the hotel in the mornings to explore the city we were wished well for our day and we were welcomed home with heartfelt conversation when we returned. Siripanna was a definite highlight of our trip (we spent a week in Koh Samui after Chiang Mai) and will make sure to return to this hotel when we are next in Thailand :)
Great Facilities, Superb Customer Service”
My wife and I had a wonderful time in Siripanna Villa Resort & Spa! The resort's service attitudes are world class and we were treated truly like royalty. The hotel staff arranged for a birthday cake delivered to my room knowing that it is my birthday. The breakfast spread is excellent (both international and local) and of very very decent quality. The rooms are large with comfortable beds and a very well appointed bathroom! The bathtub is big and you can literally fit 2 mid sized persons in it. Overall an excellent experience we had in Siripanna! Absolute value for money considering we only paid like USD130 per night for a resort of such class.
Gorgeous, Luxurious Facilities, Excellent Service”
Siripanna provided the best service I have ever experienced at any hotel or resort. Their staff was always on our side, ready to help with anything, providing directions to local conveniences, booking and communicating with the taxi cab drivers, reserving for shows and tours. You barely have to lift a finger while staying there, literally. We had an absolutely amazing experience here on our honeymoon and really enjoyed our time in Chiang Mai. The rooms are gorgeous and huge. Bathroom was equally large with an oversized hot tub. The facilities were very clean and the resort was very scenic, with its own rice patty in the back. Breakfast buffet was delicious also. Located only 15 minutes from the airport by taxi, we highly recommend Siripanna to any honeymooners or couples looking for a romantic get-away in an historical small town. It's only baht taxi cab ride into the old city, so if you want to stay away from the tourist center and relax at a great resort, this is the place for you.
Nice hotel but no elevators”
I enjoyed my staying in Siripanna Villa Resort & Spa Chiangmai the room was nice, staff were smiley, kinds and helpful, nice swimming pool and the spa was greet. The disadvantage of this 5 star hotel there was no elevators for the upper floors level and there is no 24 room service.
My partner and I visited this summer and had a great time at Siripanna Villa Resort & Spa Chiangmai. The staff and food were the highlight for me as they were both excellent. I spent much time relaxing by the pool, eating lots of food, and getting massages in the spa. The spa is a little pricey however, I would say that it was worth the money - I felt genuinely relaxed after. If you are looking for something very relaxing then this could be the spot for you. There are mosquitoes here as many people have stated but with the right spray and a bit of forward planning you will be fine. The breakfast was another highlight so I would definitely suggest booking that.
Lovely hotel, we felt like kings during our stay”
Where to start with the Siripanna... We got here for the third part of our honeymoon. The reception was beautiful, check in was smooth, with cold towels and a refreshing drink, and we got our first surprise when arriving to our room: a nice honeymooner touch, with small elephants and rose petals in our king sized bed. The Siripanna Staff always made sure you get a special touch each day... On day number 2, we got a champagne and a honeymoon cake as a present. Every night, they came to open your bed and left flowers and a goodnight wish. The hotel areas are really nice, with plenty of vegetation and a true Lanna style decor overall. The pool was great and we enjoyed ourselves a lot during our whole stay. They even have their private transportation service to take you to the night bazaar (wich is highly recommended). Breakfast was great too, but there is so much to do in Chiang Mai that we wished we had at least a couple more days here to relax. Overall, hats off for the Siripanna... you made us feel special every day we shared with you! Thank you!
Gorgeous resort with 5 star accommodation and food”
whilst the resort is a out of town, it is worth the taxi fare just for the serene and beautiful location. from the moment you approach the entrance, you will love the grand decor and the sumptuousness of the resort. our room was in the left wing and was really beautifully appointed. we did have very noisy and inconsiderate neighbours, but that was not the hotel's fault and when we mentioned this at checkout, they were very sweet and said that next time we stayed we should request one of the upper storey rooms. the pool is worth a separate mention as it is really lovely - you need to walk around and appreciate it. the whole setting is romantic including the outdoor bar/dining area. breakfast is truly international and very well presented. nothing is too hard for the staff - and the coffee is as good as you can get in melbourne!!. we usually don't eat in the hotels we stay in but we made an exception here and tried something different every night. kassem, the award winning bar tender is great too and makes a mango lassi to die for. we would certainly recommend siripanna resort and will definitely go back when we visit chiang mai next time. thanks to everyone there for a great relaxing and most enjoyable experience.
Beautiful resort beautiful assistance so helpful”
We stayed for a week and just loved the service the friendly smiles and the ever such helpful service given by the staff. They couldn't do enough for you, as soon as they saw you looking for something they would be there offering help and sorting out your needs including running to get change for you when we had to pay for taxi and the taxi driver had no change, they were just there ready to help all the time. The rooms were beautiful, the atmosphere so relaxing food was great and the 3 hour spa we had was amazing. I truly recommend th Siripanna Villa Resort as a wonderful experience.
Beautiful hotel, lovely staff”
I stayed at the Siripanna with my girlfriend on a trip around Thailand. We stayed in five star hotels in Bangkok and Koh Samui and the Siripanna was easily the best. Chiang Mai is a very lively city but as soon as you step through the entrance you leave the noise and the hustle and bustle behind. The room was stunning, had the biggest bed I've ever seen and its own small terrace which was very private and not overlooked. The service from the staff could not be faulted. Everyone was extremely friendly and polite and although we only stayed for three nights it quickly felt like the staff recognised us and they always inquired about how our day, trips, meals etc. had been. During the stay we took the hotel's Thai cooking class which, although more expensive than others in the area, was in my view worth every penny. The hotel's chef along with the entertainment manager spent over two hours in a private session with just me and my girlfriend making four delicious dishes. I can't recommend this hotel enough and, as we booked early and got a significant discount through agoda, I would say it would be very difficult to find as good value as this anywhere else!
A little Oasis”
after leaving the hustle and bustle of the city, the siripanna villa was the perfect surprise. from the moment we arrived to the minute we left we couldn't have asked for more. the hotel is beautifully designed and has everything you could ask for. great staff, beautiful food, amazing pool area, great rooms. if you're looking for a hotel in chiang mai don't look any further than the siripanna villa!!
Best hotel in Chang Mai”
The hotel is built in the Lanna style which i believe has a relaxed, calming effect on people. The rooms are large and very comfortable and for a country full of hard beds the Siripanna gets this right with a king size comfortable bed. The pool was a high light for me, my only gripe would be that the pool bar could be better, with some great bar staff I would want to spend even more time in the pool. The spa was magical and the grounds were so inviting we spent quiet a while just walking around them. We were sent an invitation to participate in the harvesting of the rice paddy field within the grounds of the hotel, this was a really nice touch and made us feel part of the Siripanna family. The craft making sessions were just another way of making the guest feel that little bit special. Great resturant and the breakfast was lovely, most of all I have to mention the staff, I have traveled to many countries and I have to say that the staff of Siripanna are the best that I have ever come across. Nothing I asked for was too hard or too trivial and everything was done from the heart and with a smile on each and everyone's face. Tuktuk ride was only 5 to 10 mins into the many markets and at a good cheap rate, or the hotel offers a free shuttle ride a few times through the day or night. Thanks Siripanna we will back to visit you again.
Excellent hotel in Chiang Mai! Highly recommended!”
I have stayed in 3 different hotels in Chiang Mai during my trip, and Siripanna Villa is definitely the best. The staff are so nice, room was clean and up to 4.5-5 star standard. My son loves the rice planting very much. Food for breakfast is excellent with many choices and really outstanding! It was just inside the hotel backyard, great experience! Price is reasonable. Highly recommended!
Lovely hotel, good service, comfort room”
we are having very great time in the Siripanna Villa Resort & Spa Chiangmai, higly recommended hotel. Breakfast in the hotel for 3 days never been bored. the great breakfast in hotel all very good and nice
