Lovely honeymoon trip at Sita Resort,Koh Lipe”
I spent 5 days 4 night for my honeymoon trip at Sita Resort. Its really a unforgettable sweet memory in my live.Once we arrive at Koh Lipe island from Langkawi Sita's staff already wait us there early. They send us to resort by buggy because from custom check point to resort takes about 5-10 mins walking distance. Deluxe pool view room very spacious and comfortable especially the outdoor bathtub really enjoyable. Sita's staff gave us surprise everyday when clean up the room..She use the towel to decorate the bed by making a heart shape, elephant and swan..Thank you very much Staff very nice, friendly and helpful.I have to thanks to Mr Anurak who always serve the guest well and can feel that he really express from his heart. Restaurant food delicious and the price not expensive if compare to restaurant at Walking Street. If stay at Sita must give a try to their restaurant.. They have 2 big swimming pools in the resort.I like the 2nd swimming pool the most as you can see the seaview while swimming there.. As a consequence Sita Resort was a best resort I've ever been.I will stay at Sita again if the chance given..Thank you again to Sita team..
Nice rooms and warm services, best resort in Lipe”
I had been in Koh Lipe twice, both of two journey, I chose Sita. first trip, last March, it was my honeymoon, i was so impressed the nature of Koh Lip and also Sita. Though the receptionist could't speak English well enough, I felt so comfortable to ask when I needed something like service or meals. The buildings were made in traditional way and suit the nature. so I went Sita again, and I was back to Korea just yesterday. This time, I bring 6 of my family, from teenager to senior. Now, All of them, are fall in love with Sita just like me! the rooms, were not recently made, but clean ans well managed. the meals, were not various, but simply good enough and suitable for from child to senior. the pools, were not big, but well managed, from 1.5m to 1.7m and also have a small place for children. the beach, beyond words. the best of all is the smile of Sita. Everyone in Sita gave me a shy and warm smile while i had stayed.
Total relaxation (if you want it).”
Koh Lipe is the kind of place that everyone should visit at least once, and the Sita Resort was the icing on the cake. It is perfectly placed on the beach, and is in walking distance of everywhere on the island. The resort staff are happy to ferry you about in the tuk-tuk type vehicles or, if you prefer you can use a taxi, which consists of a small motor cycle and sidecar attachment which whizzes up and down the dirt tracks of the island with ease (an experience in itself). As far as we were concerned the only down side was that the speedboat we had booked to get us to the island was changed to a slower ferry. This meant that our return trip to Langkawi would not get us back in time for our flight. Because of this we had to leave a day earlier than planned whereas if we had known in advance we could have booked a later flight back. This of course was not the fault of the Sita Resort, and I would have no hesitation in staying there again and look forward to returning in the future
As we were there in low season we got quite a good price. There weren't too many people at Sita, so we probably got the best of the seaview superior room on the hill(G1) with a lovely view over the resort and the sea. The room was very spacy and had a separate shower and toilet and a balcony with a table and two rattan chairs, Breakfast was nothing fancy but ok. Staff was very friendly. We were picked up from another hotel and after our stay they gave us a lift to the immigration office resp, speedboat to Langkawi. WiFi was free, but the server on the hill (Sita Hill) wasn't working, but the signal for the other access point (Sita Resort) was still good enough. There was of course a TV, but as everwhere on Koh Lipe if you aren't speaking Thai, it's useless.
Accommodation that I would come back for next visi”
It was my first time to Koh Lipe and first time stay with Sita Beach Resort & Spa. We were searching for a comfy place to stay since is a group trip. The room were as requested, away from kids pool and were very private. All of us were quite delighted with the house keeping and the breakfast serve were just nice. I would stay again with Sita and hopefully it can keep up the standard.
Sita resort is a decent choice on Koh Lipe, most probably situated on the nicest stretch of Pattaya Beach away from the noise around walking Street. Rooms are large and well decorated, although they are showing a little wear and tear, they are perfectly adequate. Some lovely staff, complimentary pick up and drop off from the pier which was very well organised.
Very nice hotel with good facilities. ”
we spent new years eve in sita beach resort. there was a compulsory "gala dinner" which we definitely could have done without. but it was added to our price when booking the hotel, so we really had no choice. it was a bit expensive for what was included, so if you are planning to go for a big holiday, watch out for theses compulsory dinners! we had a sea view deluxe room, which was excellent. breakfast was ok. facilities around the hotel was also good, but there are not enough sun beds on the beach or around the pool. this makes all the swedes in the hotel go nuts! i don't know how early people get up in the morning to go down to the beach and reserve a sun bed with a towel. people, this is ridiculous behaviour, please stop it! the staff in the bar close to the beach is fantastically slow, so plan your orders in good time. other than this, the hotel is excellent, and probably the most premium location on koh lipe.
Lovely hotel and lovely service, people who cares.”
when i realized that we would come on low season, where transport from langkawi to koh lipe will be more difficult compared to high season, i tried to contact sita resort. the manager replied me promptly, even finally arranged our transportation. and during all time before we arrived at the sita safely, mr aofy was available to be contacted thru email, telephone or sms. due to the rough traveling using the speedboad, i was having sea sick, and the hotel staff (den and art) were helping my husband and sons. they were very accommodating during our stay, even helping us with this and that, including rearranged our flight back to langkawi. the other hotel staff at the restaurant (ko and madi), were very nice and kind. the pool is very nice and clean, all surrounding are very helpful for our staying. we did have one of our best holidays in this hotel.
Perfect place to retreat and enjoy beach and sea”
The tiny island of Koh Lipe can only be reached by boat, and only once a day. And once you are on the island all you can do is take walks and go snorkeling. And relax and read a good book. Tourism is just starting to develop, and nightlife is non-existent. Sita Beach Resort & Spa is a place that sticks out. There are plenty backpackers places, cottages and B&B's on Lipe, but Sita is a well built, fully equipped resort with all the comfort of a good hotel, and a friendly, helpful staff. That's all we wanted when we chose to go to Lipe Island. Have a swim and sit on the veranda watching the ocean, and not having to deal with bad beds or crappy bathrooms.
best hotel in paradise”
Koh Lipe is a nice small paradise island. There are mostly small hotels and guest-houses on Koh Lipe. Sita is one of the few Resort Hotels. The rooms and all facilities are very new and clean. Breakfast is very good and has enough choices. The staff is friendly and helps you out to book any tour. With our booking via Agoda in the peak season over Chinese New Year we got an expensive but reasonable price. And the best - we were upgraded to the Honey Moon Suite :-) Very big room on top of the hill, Jacuzzi next to the master bed room, big flatscreen TV, big balcony with a wonderful view and more... So in the end the price was very good to get the big suite. I will always book the Sita again, if there is the offer @ Agoda
lovely and peaceful”
lovely hotel, we had large room number set high on the hill side over looking the sea. nice comfy bed, shower was a little disappointing. breakfast was OK, fare amount of food to choose from. we eat in the hotel restaurant a few times and what we had was very good. overall we are very satisfied with the hotel and if we ever come back to kho lipe , we will stay at the sita beach resort again.
Among the best resorts at Pattaya Beach”
I was dissapointed at first when I discovered that the rooms that we (7 adults & 1 child) booked earlier were actually situated at the end of the resort facing the staff's hostel and a construction site at the back. This is because we booked the promotion rate which turned out to be the new building on yop of the hill and very far away from the beach. We managed to get an upgrade by paying the difference and thank you to the Front Office Manager, Mr Pom for finfing us 3 units of the deluxe pool view and the room was lovely and very near to the lobby with strong internet connection and right in front of the pool. The swimming pool is very clean and well lit at night and we can even swim in it. Definitely will recommend this resort to anyone but the only downside for us Muslims is that they serve pork so the breakfast for us is basically eggs, salads and bread but no complaint here. Pattaya Beach is surprisingly a better place for me as compared to Sunrise as it is more happening and nearby to Walking Street which we absolutely adore. Will come to this resort again but I may want to try another 2 resorts there name Akira Lipe and Mali Resort which looked so beautiful and clean from the beach area.
Quality in paradise island”
I was positively surprised. I did not expect to find such a nice hotel in such a small island. Of course the price range for this hotel is in the upper class especially for a country like thailand, but the accomadation had everything you needed for a nice stay. The english skills of the hotelstaff was good and they arranged everything with trips without even expecting a tip. We had friends who stayed at another hotel in the upper class section and the rooms were not as nice as in Sita.So if I would head for Koh Lipe again I would definetly check in to Sita again.
An oasis of calm on a very busy island”
koh lipe has now definitely been "discovered" and it not the quiet island the guide books still suggest that it is. for that reason i was very glad to be staying at the sita as it was sufficiently far enough away from the action to be quieter, but still close enough to walk to the action easily. the hotel itself was a typical high quality thai beach resort - good sized rooms well furnished, excellent staff service, a nice sized pool, and more than enough sun loungers on the beach. the restaurant served up a standard breakfast with hot and cold buffets - no complaints at all, and snacks or main meals for lunch and dinner. they do a particularly good barbecue at dinner with excellent chicken kebabs for baht with a free (albeit very small) jacket potato. two of these make for a very cheap dinner.
Fantastic hotel with a great location”
We initially stayed for 3 nights but then extended our stay for another 2 nights. We were picked up by the hotel's buggies after checking in at the Immigration hut in Koh Lipe. They were a bit late but thankfully they arrived - didn't feel like dragging our luggage across the beach for half a kilometer. They did not respond to our email via Agoda requesting for a lift to the hotel - so, we had to phone them at the beach hut to find out if they were coming or not. Check in was fast and we were given cool drinks. The Deluxe Pool rooms were a good size and clean. Everything about the room was fantastic except for the bathroom which had a bathtub which has no roof. Mosquitoes flew into the bathroom and could then fly into the bedroom if the bathroom door is not closed all the time. Putting a mosquito net or some transparent roofing over the bathtub would easily fix this problem. Apart from this, we had a brilliant stay here including free softdrinks from the fridge and the housekeeping staff making beautiful animals (elephant, swans etc) with our room towels and arranging pretty flowers everywhere in our room! Thank you!
The best resort on the Lepe island.”
The island is quite far away from land. It took 1:10 hr for a 4x200 Hp engines boat to reach the island from Pak Bara pier. There are 2 companies provide boat services to the island. At the time we went there was in the low season so there would be only 1 boat to go to Lepe, departed around 11 am. In the high season, after 16 November, there will be more boats going to Lepe daily. The island is beautiful though not quiet. The beach front land are littered with small cheap looking bungalows. So Sita stands out from the crowd. There is a narrow road or "Walkinh Street" which connects 2 sides of the island together. It also serves as a shopping mall for foods, drinks, messages and diving sevices. The rooms we had were "Superior Sea View" which were on the hill in the resort. The location was the least convenion to go to the beach or hotel restaurant but it had the best view of the sea. The room was well designed with separate shower and toilet. The hotel had a 2nd swimming pool on the hill side as well so we could swim in the pool with a great view of Andaman sea. The worst part of Lepe island is the foods and drinks which cost 3-4 times more expensive than the shop on land. So the resort's breakfast is a heavenly treat.
Best service ever”
sita resort is a beautiful resort locatee right on the beach. they offer accommodation in little houses, which are clean, well equipped and comfortable. we stayed for 2 nights, the secomd night was not planned, but my boyfriens fell very sick and we were obliged to stay. there were no rooms of our category available but they moved us to a deluxe family house with 2 bedrooms, living room for -20% of the price of the basic room we had for the first night! service is amazing, they arrange your ferry, carry your luggage, take you to the pier, breakfast buffer is very nice. and they have a nice pool. i strongly recommend this place
Nice stay, but nothing more”
There are not so many hotels to choose from on Koh Lipe, if you want to have a swimming pool. Sita beach has two. We had a good stay, but the hotel is quite expensive (we stayed five days in the beginning of high season mid november), and I have high standards and had expected a bit more. I have two complaints, pillows thick and hard as rock (not very unusual for Thailand, but for the price we paid for the room, I think the standard of pillows and blankets are higher than at Sita) and boring breakfast buffet (boring, not bad). On day three, it became difficult to find something to eat that you were in the mood for.
Not worth the money”
i have mixed feelings with my stay at sita. the pool nº2 was totally green with algae, i was unable to use it. pool nº1 was extremelly acid, they had a problem with the ph. instead of water, it seemed they filled the swimming pool with sprite!, made my and my friends skin very itchy. my room was g3, the internet signal was too weak, almost could not go online. it was a nice hotel, very new, the room was very nice, and the staff was strived to be kind. however, mishaps like the swimming pool and the internet should not happen with the price i paid for the room. the breakfast was limited but it was ok. overall i would say that the hotel is one of the bests at lipe but maybe a bit expensive if you ask me.
Fantastic hotel in a tropical paradise”
Fantastic hotel in a tropical paradise. You go to Lipe to chill out, enjoy the sun while dipping your toes in the bluest of waters. Sita is one of the best hotels on the island. Its location on Pattaya beach is close enough to walking street where you can get some of the best seafood in Thailand. Highly recommend Sita. The staff is great - the island is one of the best.
