I had the most wonderful time at Sivalai Place. The staff are so ready to help and the facilities are good. I love the ozone swimming pool and will definitely come back to stay and swim.

Home away from home”
We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Sivalai Place. We stayed for 2 weeks in Bangkok to allow for India visa to process and Sivalai Place was the perfect place to call home. We used the kitchen and stocked groceries from nearby Foodland. We also enjoyed the gym/fitness center and large swimming pool. The hotel also allows guests to borrow bicycles and ride around the neighborhood - good way to make to to 7-11 quickly and get fresh air! Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Internet was great - fastest we've had in Asia. Overall, we loved our stay at Sivalai!

Fantastic place to stay-highly recommended!”
We were blown away by how great a place Sivilai is to stay, whether as a couple of tourists or as an Exchange Student (our son is staying there while attending Thammasat University). The rooms are very spacious and nicely furnished, the bathrooms are exquisite, there are kitchens if you want to cook yourself or there's an on-site restaurant that serves delicious nutritious food (Thai and western). With a huge swimming pool, tennis courts and fitness center it's got everything you could possibly need for a stay (for a few nights or a few months). Because it's located in Thonburi in a very nice residential neighborhood, it's safe and quiet, considering you're in the middle of Bangkok!

all round excellent stay”
we needed somewhere close to Thonburi Noi station for an early depart to Nam Tok. This was perfect. Clean room, good size, excellent shower,air con, kitchen facilities, mini bar at supermarket prices. Staff friendly and helpful. the small restaurant serves cheap but good food,more like a cafe really but does the job. the block has a small supermarket, tennis, gym and pool all included in the price! Use the map on the website to give to your taxi driver (480bht from Suvarnabmi airport)and be prepared for a little confusion as you get very close. A really excellent place to stay if you are doing the River Kwai railway trip. (also well worth it! 100 bht for a 6hr journey. an amazing Thai experience)

Large rooms, quiet environment”
We had a great stay in Sivalai. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The rooms are large and the little kitchen came in handy. There is a little shop and a restaurant that are simple but sufficient. The swimming pool is huge and there are two tennis courts. The only down side is that it is a bit far out from the center of town. However the quietness was vey appreciated in this busy city. The free internet connection provided by the hotel was limited, I must also add.

Comfortable apartment near Thonburi Train Station”
I chose this place mainly because it is very near (2 km) the Thonburi Railway Station. I wanted to take the 7:50 am train to go to Kanchanaburi, and was afraid of missing the train because of traffic jams if I were to stay somewhere else further away. The hotel reception opens daily from 9 am to 9 pm. But I was able to check out at 7 am, by the security guard. The security guard was quite nice, and offerred me a free ride on his motorcycle to the main road. The room was quite spacious, with a dining area and kitchen stove. There was also a microwave oven and a spacious refrigerator with items priced near supermarket level. The aircon was good. The hot water in the bathroom was not very stable. I did not have the chance to use the swimming pool. There is also a tennis court which is part of the club house adjacent to the hotel.

Home away from home...”
I started missing this place. My family and I stayed there for 17 nights. The owner and the staffs were very friendly and accommodating. Facilities such as huge swimming pool and the free use of bicycles made our stay with so much fun. You have the option to cook your own food but the Restaurant from the Lobby served great food with reasonable price. If i got a chance to visit Bangkok again, i will definitely come back to this place again...

Lovely Guesthouse”
Difficult to find in the evening, make sure to contact the guesthouse before you arrive. The place doesn't have a big sign proclaiming its existence, we walked around for a long time trying to find which side street it was, eventually calling the hotel and the guy came out to find us. The interior of the guesthouse is very nice, the rooms are spacious and the breakfast is cheap and nice. Perfect location to visit Wat's within Bangkok, as it is situated right by Wat Arun, and so close to the grand palace

Very nice and comfortable apartment”
I really like this place as it's quiet although it's in the middle of city provided with all the needed services, laundry, restaurant, washing machines, swimming pools, tennis courts. The studio room I stayed was very big and wide and cleaned with big refridgerator fulled of snacks and waters with reasonable price, microwave and kitchen. It'll definitely be my first choice of hotel if I get to go back around the area again.

Definitely one of the best places i've ever stayed and I can speak on behalf of my group of 7 guys. The owners/staff make you feel like family and we've managed to make a friend for life there. Location maybe a bit out of the city but not hard to get around. Fell inlove with Bangkok and this place!

Fabulous”
My stay here was like being in a home away from home. I was able to buy food and cook in the kitchen, lots for room to feel at home and even a washing machine to do laundry. Cafe downstairs served a variety of food at a cheap price. The staff was always very helpful to answer questions and give good advice about places to go and amounts for taxis, etc. They even loaned me an umbrella when it was raining. There was a convenience store also so you could stay comfortably for an extended period. A bit of a twisty road to find it but many signs direct you where to turn.

Enjoyable stay”
Back to that hotel after almost 2 yers absence. The owner and her daughter still remembered us. Always make us feel like family member. We booked the one bedroom apt with kitchen and living-room. Grocery store is near by, so we could cook our own meal. Often booked by students, the price is reasonable. They provide many facilities as parking, laundry room, convenient store, restaurant and ATM machine. They also have gymnasium, swimming pool and tennis court. It's walking distance to Wat Arun temple and you cant take the boat to Royal Palace. The hotel is situated in residencial area so not close to the metro and sky train. Not easy to find if you're not familiar with the area. From Airport better take a taxi.

Good value for the money”
The hotel and staff were excellent. The rooms were big and clean and the staff spoke english very well. They have a big pool, tennis courts, and a gym. The kitchen makes the hotel a one stop for all your needs. The one issue is the location relative to tourist attractions but you can take a 15 minute cab rid to the closest ferry crossing and from there you can reach a ton of other locations throughout bangkok.

the rooms were lovely. the bed was HUGE. very quiet, got a great nights sleep everynight which cant be said for alot of bangkok. staff were very helpful with all quieries. i would definatley stay here again if im in the area

Comfortable, convenient, friendly helpful staff”
The studio apt was spacious, clean and comfortable and had all the amenities. Your could cook your own meals or the cafe downstairs, while was not open all the time opened for every meal and had good reasonably priced food. Staff gave great information about what to see and do as well as what to watch out for. Washer/dryer was available and there was a convenience store onsite. You could feel at home while on vacation!!

More like a homestay than a hotel”
We were expecting a hotel in downtown but were shocked that it was a homestay that was very far from downtown with nothing nearby..Kitchen opened at 9.00 am for breakfast and offices also, so you were dealing with a night sucurity. We did get an early check in at 8.00am and were let in by the security, however no one would answer the phone when we called from the airport.

Really enjoyed our stay. Nice pool and workout room. location is away from Khao San Road and the backpacker path, but the hotel room was way worth it. little bit of a maze to get to. but overall, enjoyed our stay.
