Perfect Engagement Celebration”
I booked this stay last year as a surprise for my partner as we got engaged earlier in the day. I told the staff in advance that it was a special occasion and we were treated like royalty from the moment we arrived. Complimentary upgrades and cocktails, a tea tasting at the shop around the corner which we're now using to get tea for our wedding on the other side of the globe, a lovely turn down service at the end of the day with health tonics and a little tote bag for the next day's shopping. We even had a TCM check-up! A fantastic stay and a very attentive team who went the extra mile to make our stay special. Thank you!

Nice accomodation!”
The location is closed to many places for city traveling, especially China Town. Also, it's very easy to grab some food because there are many restaurants nearby. The services are very fast-responsive, friendly, and helpful. Moreover, I can use the swimming pool in Six Sense Maxwell as well because the Duxton do not have a swimming pool, which is nearby. Nice!

Nice Little Boutique Hotel”
Service and location excellent with lots of small bars and bistros around. F&B great if a little expensive but it’s owned by the Marriott group so to be expected. The staff were exceptional. Downside is the rooms. Whilst tastefully decorated they are made for small people! Maybe to be expected in an old shop house however. I had to duck my head to go into the bedroom and you could hardly swing a cat in the bathroom. If you are older or infirm beware, the elevator was out of order when we stayed and it’s a bit of a trek up the stairs.

Exceptional”
Stayed at The Pearl Suite and it was gorgeous! The bathtub was dangerous though.: high and sharp. The breakfast at Yellow Pot Restaurant could be improved though - lacklustre and quite poorly done. Other than that, great room.

Perfect for designers”
The hotel is undeniably stunning! It's an eye candy for luxury design junkies, however there's no pool or any other facilities one would expect from a 5* hotel

Classy and tasteful interiors ”
I LOVE the interior of the room. Even the glasses provided are classy! Stayed in Duplex King Suite. It would be perfect if there is bidet in the wc zone.

Service leaves much to be desired.”
There were only about five rooms having breakfast, yet the staff kept getting orders for the different tables wrong. In addition, they seem to be counting pence and pennies, and staff were not empowered to make decisions. Management needs to realise that for this kind of prices, they can do better.

Nice place but not worth the price ”
The ambiance and design is great but on closer inspection, a lot of the furnitures feel cheap. The bed feels old and pillow feels stiff. I called for extra blanket but they didn’t send over. I called again and they told me they have no more. Also, had to call multiple times before operator picked up. In my opium room that I stayed, one lamp was blown, the other got blown the next day. for some reason, the speaker in my room started playing music. I had to call twice for the engineers to finally come. The sprinkler system in the room flashes sharp lighting every few seconds directly above the bed, making it very irritating to sleep. Overall, for the price I’ve paid, I must say I’m disappointed. So-so experience but paid premium price.

Fabulous staycation and delicious hotel design”
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Six Senses Duxton, from the smooth check in to the 10/10 service from the staff our stay was nothing short of fabulous. We were disappointed to find out that the pool at Maxwell was shut for an event but reception offered us an amazing solution and we ended up dining at The Yellow Pot (recommend the mee sua noodles and the sirloin black pepper beef cubes). We booked the Opium room and I was thrilled to soak up the chinoiserie and dark mysterious vibe from A. Hempel. We even headed to the Maxwell location for a western breakfast the following morning, think sourdough croissant, banana parfait, eggs Benedict crab cakes, chicken waffles to name a few of our selects. I would absolutely return again and perhaps book a different suite the next time:-)

Excellent”
Had my wedding proposal at Six Sense Hotel over the weekend. Special thanks to Richard, who was so helpful and attentive to the details. My plan wouldn’t have gone so smoothly without you! Beautiful boutique hotel, clean and comfortable. Would definitely visit the place again.

Fabulous Boutique Hotel”
This lovely hotel has left no stone unturned to make your stay as welcoming and comfortable as possible. Great location, fabulous staff and beautifully decorated. Although we found our room a little small and therefore not particularly suited to our needs (business traveller needing space to work in the room) and the gym/spa was a 200m walk down the road, the ambiance was fabulous.

Boutique hotel”
Shophouses converted into a boutique hotel. Surprisingly none if the taxi or share ride drivers know the place. We didn’t have much time to explore the area but didn’t look like there was much going on. It had a very cool Asian decor & interesting to have a 15 minute complimentary Chinese Medicine consultation right in the lobby. The provider however did not have much in terms of recommendations except for the typical exercise more, eat less. I would have been interested in recommendations on chinese herbal treatments. She knew my husband & I were both physicians which might have influenced her recommendations but we are constantly on the lookout for alternative treatments so she missed that opportunity. Because it is a small hotel or perhaps since we booked through Expedia, the staff was not very accommodating on late checkout ( we had a 9:00 pm flight) - we could have explored the area more had we been given the accommodation. Overall not worth the high price.

A nice boutique hotel, but small rooms and lacking pool and on site gym”
The staff here are amazing and did a great job in welcoming me. The design of the hotel has been well thought through, lots of yellow and black. Breakfast was good too and the location is very convenient for local eateries and bars. My room was the nutmeg room, which felt a bit small. There was nowhere to put folded clothes for example. There is a window but it opens on two walls and scaffolding so you don't get much natural light. As I was not on vacation and not in the room at all during the day, it wasn't an issue.

Intricate Design, Unique Experience”
Very good location, walking distance to various other points of interest, food and good access to public transportation. The interior is beautifully done, hotel room comfortable and luxurious. Only the bath is not as practical. Space wise around the common area is a little limited as compared to usual business hotels. Breakfast is very good.

Chic urban retreat ”
Great chic boutique urban retreat. The staff are friendly helpful and discreet. You will feel stylish as you sip excellent cocktails and safe in the knowledge that you are in the place to be. Note that it is a bit on the small side hence the term boutique.
