HONEYMOON IN SIX SENSES ”
I was there for honeymoon, the best welcome from the resorts Manager to Chef was there to welcome us, the staff were super friendly and we were greeted by the staff by our name at every stop they see us, its a must at least once you have to visit the place, the best place in there was beach bar at the pool (sip sip), the guest service staff who was with us unbelievable helpful, the complimentary massage was absolutely great, I slept in peace for 60 mints. overall its a great place, a place like this come with a price,
Dear Nawaz, Warm hello from Six Senses Laamu! We are so delighted to hear that we were able to provide you a memorable honeymoon celebration and that we have surpassed your expectations. We are beyond happy to know that you the beauty of the island has captured your heart. The whole team is very much appreciative of your kind words and we sincerely thank you for sharing this with us. Please let us know when you intend to come back and it will be our pleasure to help you plan your next visit. With best regards, Marteyne
This was our fourth Six Senses and it did not disappoint. The resort is rustic-stunning with all the fabulous services that SS's always offers. Staff are top notch and the villas are beautiful. We chose a lagoon side beach villa (as we had a baby and younger daughter) and I was worried about waking to a child falling into the water off the jetty, had we chosen a water villa. Lagoon side did no disappoint. We LOVED the natural reef in front. It provided hours of exploration and fun. The aqua life at the resort is truly remarkable. There are many optional activities, but we were honestly entertained by the water, sand and endless hermit crabs! Fabulous vacation. If I had to pick a downfall, I would say it's the food relative to the cost. I'm excluding breakfast buffet from this comment, which was included and fabulous! But the cost of lunch & supper... It's extravagantly priced... like there's a $50USD burger and fries kind of expensive. Was a bit hard to 'digest'!!!
Love the Place!!”
It was our first trip to the Maldives and Six Senses was a great choice! Right off the Laamu Airport and to the resort and back, the service was very good. Staff from the entire resort worked well together to ensure that we felt at home and pampered. It balanced between privacy and also available activities. So this resort served us well as a couple who would like to be around people but without the feeling that it was overcrowded. FYI, it was 80% occupancy when we were there and it felt already like we had the island to ourselves. Food is decent and we specifically enjoyed the beach BBQ. Overall, we loved it!

Paradise Is An Understatement”
Absolutely wonderful. The food is a bit pricey but that's expected from an exclusive resort. But hey, their ice cream is limitless and has a wide variety. The view from our water villa is just amazing. Will definitely recommend to others.
staff service mind is excellent”
Thank you the hotel to let me urgently amend the date, otherwise I don't have chance to see the beautiful sea.The hotel is very nice and we can see lots of fishes, octopus and dolphin (my lucky day). The weather is also nice even though sometimes shower. My room can see sunrise view, so excellent! It is convenient to travel with my kid even though I got pregnant too. I like food taste in chilled bar, which price is acceptable. We smile all day and feel really relax in Six senses even though my 3 year son also said I like this hotel. The location is a bit far, need to take a domestic flight but the hotel has well prepared for us. No swimming pool for my kid but seem like in construction. The price is a bit expensive but comparing to others, this type of ocean view is acceptable. One thing that my son really likes while staying in your hotel is Mango ice cream (free).
It was an excellent trip for us. View was awesome with sights of emerald seawater littered with occasional pearls of raindrops against a backdrop of quaint scenery. service and food was exceptional. special mention to Ishan, our Guest Experience Maker (GEM)who made sure that every nook and cranny of our experience was well taken care of. I will recommend to book in advance and get a water villa.
Beautiful, Rejuvenating & Relaxing ”
We stayed here for our honeymoon (1week). Beautiful island. Very friendly staff. Love the free flow ice & ofcos the breakfast. We were very lucky to see the turtle hatching so tat was a plus plus. We stay in the water villa. The villa was clean, comfortable & relaxing. It also had a Bose surround system which was another plus plus( we had jazz n soul music played @ all time) We spend lots of time on the deck just enjoying the breeze from the ocean. It was very relaxing n rejuvenating. The cycling was fun and unique. Snorkeling was fun, we only did the reef around our hotel and it was beautiful. During our stay here we saw baby sharks, rays, turtle , dophine and many fishes. The only down side is they serve "TUNA" as fish of the day in every meal during our stay LOL. But overall we had an Amazing stay!!!
Best honeymoon experience!”
went there for honeymoon with my wife and i never regret staying at six senses laamu! although is not the cheapest but i'm sure the price is justifiable by the experience u get. love everything there the moment my wife and i set foot on the resort.! our best vacation trip yet! period~!
It was a really sweet and pleasant stay overall”
we stayed in a lagoon water villa for the first three nights and we were wowed by the cozy, spacious, and luxurious room. The glass bath tub with see through glass that allowed us to peep into the water below us, the no. of sunbeds there were (in the upper deck and lower deck), the hammocks, the open air shower were all too thoughtfully and luxuriously designed. We stayed in the ocean villa for the last night and there was no difference in the room except for the view in which the villa was situated much further out into the jetty to allow for a better view of the ocean. The Laamu water villa is situated at the end of the jetty and I believe it has a mini private pool (or Jacuzzi) thus making it the most expensive room. The staff were very friendly and efficient although i must say that I was disappointed that for the amount that we were already paying for the room, they shouldn't have charged us for sending cutlery to the room when we requested for them. The in villa dining options were also too limited in my opinion. The location of the villa is actually not too far from the airport depending on which domestic flight u take. If u are taking the flight from male to khadoo (not too sure about the spelling) airport (where six senses is) at 1245pm, I believe it flies direct to khadoo (35min), if not it flies to khudoo first (55mins) then to khadoo (25min). From Khadoo airport it then takes another 20 min by speed boat to get to the resort ... we were very unlucky as one of the speedboat engines died on us halfway and it took us more than half an hour to get there. Overall, the accommodation, the view of the sea, the pristine water, the exclusiveness of the island made the stay a very romantic and enjoyable one.
I like the resort!”
Was happy to stay at six senses laamu.
