    Nice Stay”

The staff is very kind! I have stayed at the property on 3 different occasions and would gladly stay again for future return trips to Chiang Mai. A very friendly and accommodating staff, and great location.

    Courteous Staff, Great Location A-”

The hotel staff was friendly and courteous. The wifi was functional and worked reliably. Great location right in the middle of chiang mai, close to many food areas and the center. A- The walls were a bit thin and there is not much noise prevention.

    Good place to stay”

    Price, Location, Clean

A nice clean, simple room at a decent price. I suggest getting an air con room however, as fan only room can get quite hot.. I stayed in both, and having air con made a huge difference to comfort level.. On cooler days fan may suffice..

    Good value for money!”

    Price, Location, Clean

Good value for money if on a short stay. Room is clean, simple, and fresh. Location is good, near to Old City and Night Bazaar. Night Bazaar is a 20 minute walk away. Old Town is about 10 minute walk away. Rail Station is a 35 minute walk. Hotel is right opposite a nice temple. Currently on my 5th day here with one extended booking so far.

The Relaxation in the north of Thailand.”

    Location, Friendliest staffs, Cleanliness

I stayed in Sixty House for 3 days. Staffs were incredibly friendly ! Last day I wanted to buy food back to my hometown. She took me to the place and when I wanted to dine-in ( because it was so local), she even waited for me and brought food I bought back to the hotel for I can travel in the market easily. There were many red cabs pass this hostel (cheap one). Very close to Sunday market and night Bazarr. There was a rental bike and motorcycles shop nearby and also a very nice coffee shop that half price if Starbucks !

A great option, closeish to the East Gate on a side street. Not too far to walk into the Old City. Room was clean and secure. Walls are thin though and was a bit loud when people were talking in the hallways. Would stay again.

    Very Good Value For Money”

As the title says. Right in Thae Pae near 7/11, plenty of restaurants and about 5-10 minute walk from the night market. The staff were very nice and booked a bus for us which picked us up from the hotel and they even let us wait for a few hours until the bus arrived. Definitely recommended for any traveller on a budget that wants to be near everything without dealing with noise.

Enjoyed my 4 nights at Sixty House. Very good location and room is good. Air-con is a bit noisy and water boiler is old but still acceptable for this price. Free wifi provided which is a credit. No lift but 2 storey is ok as we did not have big luggage.

An ideal budget place to stay”

Walking distance to Sunday night market and night bazaar. Water, microwave and water boiler are available downstairs. No 24 hours reception but the back door is open 24hrs so we still can access to our room. Free from bed bugs but room a bit dusty; maybe we went during off peak season so the rooms are not clean frequently. Overall is acceptable if you are looking for a budget stay. 7-11(convenient store) and massage shops(inside the temple) are nearby too.

Great location for the Thai New Year, staff was helpful if you could find her (usually just knocked on the door of her room if really required). AC room was comfortable enough, especially for the price. Definitely worth it if travelling on a budget.

Great staff, very helpful & friendly. Room was simple but clean, air con room & fan rooms both great. We extended our first stay & also returned for another night after a trip to Pai. Hot water urn available to make tea (or 2min noodles!) in communal area. Close walk to night market or old city. Perfect for such a cheap price! We are backpackers & really found it great value for our money.

basic value for money. cheap laundry service and the cat as a secretary :D

First of all, it's located next to a wat. So expect lots of monk made noises from early morning until evening. Otherwise location is good. Room was basic with fan and own bathroom. Bathroom wall was leaking water so the floor was constantly wet.

good location, good people, good price.

unforgettable trip. price is good. people are friendly and helpful. location is very near to old city (walking distance). good food and price (Friend Shop) beside Sixty house. Met wonderful Canadian owner and Thai wife at Friend Shop, selling drinks and food. gets advices and guide from them. My son spent more time in Friend's shop than tour around in chiangmai. Sixty house offer very competitive price compare to outside tour agencies and they give different types of promotion. My son and me even had drinks with friend shop owner and sixty house owner. It's more like a friend gathering than just a holiday. Will make another tour there again....

    Close to almost everywhere!”

    Location, Hospitality, Comfort

I must say this was one of the best decisions I made to choose this place to stay in Chiang Mai. I was there for the Loy Krathong/Yee Peng festival and the parade was right in front of the guesthouse! Everything was within walking distance; from the Night Bazaar to the Warorot Market to the Old City. 7/11 is just a block away and there is a bank right in front of the junction towards the guest house. I saved a lot from having to take the public transportation. The staff is also very friendly. She was helpful in giving me suggestions for sightseeing, restaurants, etc. Her command in English is although not fluent but understandable. Check out was at 10.30am but I was allowed to leave my bags at the lobby until late in the evening as I was out on tour. The only downside is that since it is situated close to Thapae Gate and beside a temple, it gets really loud during festive season. But if you go during non-festive, it should be OK.

freindly staff, very close to old town and ta pae gate

I booked 2 nights on agoda, but turn out extended my stay for 2 more nights and another 1 night after I back from Pai. Location is wonderful, right next to a beautiful temple, bout 3 minutes walk from Ta Pae Gate, single fan room is just enough big, clean, bed is comfitable, no bugs, although don't wanna stay in the garden downstares at night, too many mosquitos. No breakfast but fairly close to everything.

    A Pleasant Stay”

    Location, Value

Sixty House is in a great location to explore both the Old and New City. It's walking distance to the day market, night market, electronics market and the Sunday night market. There's a beautiful temple almost just across the road and there's a decent breakfast place around the corner. Also a 7/11, fruit shake place and a Roti place (at night) just around the corner. Rooms are of decent size - enough space for you bags. Room was quiet as the hotel is situated off the main road. Rooms are cleaned on request. The staff are nice and helpful. Not too pushy when it comes to tours. We didn't book any tours through them during our stay.

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and blight room. Comfortable bed. Ample hot shower. Louver shaped windows(it's pretty good for women. You can sleep with the windows open). Strong Wi-Fi connection. Good location. The room itself is relatively small, but they have everything I need. Value for money.
