To sum up sky luck, I'd say the manager/only member of staff I saw was friendly, the rooms were light and reasonably modern. It's more of a real Hotel compared with the billion others in Vung Tau. I'd stay again but during the week if I can. Weekends are madness in VT, and it isn't very pleasantm

Nearby to front beach”
Sky luck is good if you want to be near the main beach and some decent seafood restaurants. Clean room and make sure the air conditioning works for you. Friendly staff were willing to order a taxi and give directions.

Love this hotel!!!”
We spent a weekend here and it was worth the money. The room was clean and well equipped. The staff very friendly. Nice rooftop garden. I went up there in the morning to do a yoga flow. It was amazing! I just wish that they stock a mat for travelling yogi. The hotel is just a stone's throw from Banh khot Goc Vu Sua, a specialty in Vung Tau. At the time we stayed there, there was an opening ceremony for Co Ba Vung Tau Hotel and Restaurant next door. I hope competition will result in better price and service. Overall, I will definitely choose this hotel to stay next time and recommend this hotel for those who want to make short visit to Vung Tau over the weekend.

Clean & good service”
The hotel is very near to Banh Khot Goc Vu Sua restaurant, a speciality of Vung Tau. And it's around 2 km far from the hydrofoil fast ferry harbour. The room is small but quite clean. The staff is nice, friendly and helpful. I asked the receptionist to book one ferry ticket for me and she kept on supporting me even I left the hotel. Besides that, there's a nice rooftop garden and you can have a large view on Vung tau city. The only inconvenience is that you have to take a taxi if you want to go to the beach for swimming. Overall, Sky Luck is worth to stay.

Stayed here for 1 night”
Spent 1 night here and it was a very value for money place to stay. The room was new, clean and basically had most of the things I needed given the price I had paid. The bed was comfortable and huge for a single room. It's location is superb, too, just a few minutes' walk to the main streets where there are a lot of eateries, coffee shops and bars. Vung Tau is a small city so getting around is not a problem but I absolutely liked the fact that this hotel is extremely near to the famous "banh khot" place called "Cay Vu Sua". Walked in 20min to the Back beach but it was such a pleasant thing to do. The staff, though I personally thought they could have improved more on their English, were essentially helpful when they could understand what you said, even helped me to get a cab within several minutes. Overall, I will definitely come back here for its competitive price and quality.

A value for money accomodation”
The Sky Luck hotel is located very near a famous shop selling Vung Tau style fried rice cakes that are a delicious treat either for breakfast or lunch. The fact that many locals eat their is testament to its popularity. It is called Banh Khot Co Vu Sua (Or something like that) For the hotel, it is a standard hotel much like any other hotels in Vung Tau and Vietnam for that matter. Rooms were clean and facilities were pretty good actually. I stayed at the highest floor with a ncie view of Vung Tau city and in the evenings, it was ncie to just open the windows and allow the breeze to enter the room. Other than that, the hotel is pretty standard stuff you might find or otherwise expect. One of my choices if i were to return back to Vung Tau. For its price bracket, it is quite value for money.

A great hotel in Vung Tau. We thought it was great value for money: high-speed (20mbps) internet and clean rooms. The bed was comfy and the room had a clean and new feel to it. We stayed in a few hotels in Vung Tau and this was, by far, the best.

Clean and pleasant hotel in a quiet area”
I got off at the port after taking the ferry from Saigon and jumped in a taxi. The driver didn't know the hotel by name, but was able to find it by the address. I gather this is why he took me on the scenic route. The ride took 20 mins and a drive around the point, but the hotel is actually quite close to the marina. I walked in 10 mins or so. The hotel itself is tucked away on a side street not far from the front beach. The town itself is within walking distance too. It is a quiet location and provided me with a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of Saigon. I was impressed by the room, as it was full of light and the bed was extremely comfortable. The building itself feels very new and the fittings didn't feel very used. Sky Luck doesn't have any facilities to speak of, but I was able to arrange a scooter to ride about town on. The wifi in the hotel was pretty poor while I stayed there, with websites taking forever to load and the signal dropping frequently. This would be the only point to complain about. The staff were reasonably friendly but had limited English skill. They were able to assist with basics, but you might not get all your touristy questions answered.

Comfortable hotel”
It was a great weekend. The hotel is in the center of Vung Tau. So we can reach many bars and restaurants easily. Especially, it is nearby Banh Khot Goc Vu Sua - a famous dish in Vung Tau. I like this hotel and will come back in the next visit.

nice hotel in quiet location”
sky luck hotel is like many mini-hotels in vietnam, but new and still in good condition. services are basic as expected for this price: a room with shower and toilet. no breakfast or anything else is provided the room itself (deluxe) is spacious. the quality of the bed is rather good for vn standards in this type of hotel. surprise was the shower , with plexi shower walls! better than to be expected in vn. location is quiet... walking distance to the center, but for the back beach, you need to rent a motorbike / grab a taxi for a short ride.

New and clean small Budget Hotel ”
we arrive at airport hcm city and take the bus no 152 from the airport which take us direct to the hcm city central bus station. it cost us vd8,000 or around usd0.40. from there we did 10 minutes walk to the ferry jetty eventhough we can take another bus to the jetty. the hydrofoil ferry cost us vd200,000 or usd10. we arrive at the vung tau jetty 2 hours later and take a taxi to skyluck hotel which cost us vd80,000 or usd4. the hotel is located in town where there are access to few restaurant, salon and spa, etc. its basically a new hotel, therefore, clean and very welcoming. however, one dissapointment is that it seem not having enough hot water, especially if u stay at 3rd floor and above.

Clean and Cosy Mini Hotel in Vung Tau”
This is a typical Vietnamese mini-hotel which can be found everywhere in cities and towns across Vietnam. Pleased to find this one quite functional (if rather basic) but clean and well located in an alley off Hoang Hoa Tham Street. Hoang Hoa Tham spans east-west across the centre of Vung Tau and essentially connects the front beach (bai truoc) with the back beach (bai sau) without having to go around the cape. (Note: Did not eat at the hotel so I rated it '1' only for the system to accept the review.) Walk 100 m out to Hoang Hoa Tham and there are local eateries, cafes and bars. Will stay here again.

Quiet and Big rooms”
We stayed at the Sky Luck hotel on the week end and is very near the ferry terminal cost 20,ooo viet dung to reach, it was a new hotel and everything was according to that. We had the big room at the 2nd floor We also tried the reastaurant next to the hotel the food was cheap and reasonable. the hotel is very quiet and can have good sleep with nice solid bed

I spend the weekend at the Sky Luck Hotel and I would recommend the hotel to anyone looking to spend a peaceful weekend in VT. This hotel is not near the beach. The beach is about 5/8 minutes driving from the hotel.

Comfortable hotel for your vacations”
It's the third times I've been here and SkyLuck Hotel is still the best choice from middle-range hotels in Vung Tau. It has the best location, which can help you access both side of the beaches quickly and easily. There are many restaurants, coffee shops, pubs, bars and beer clubs near SkyLuck for your choice.
