Great Staycation but Much Room for Improvement”
This is a new hotel, just opened in November 2021 thus all their rooms, facilities and equipments are still brand new and in a good condition. The hotel has a washer cum dryer, bathtub (for Executive category) and microwave at their kitchenette. Check-in was a little slow due to lack of staff at the front desk. Breakfast was pre-packed probably due to Covid-19 restrictions but it was not not attractive enough and they definitely could do way much better - they gave the same breakfast for 2 days (bread with cheese, cereal with yoghurt which quickly turned soggy, mini sausage (day 1) & scrambled eggs (day 2)). I switched on the housekeeping bell when I went out on the 2nd day morning thinking it would work but later found out that no housekeeping was done (the switch was probably not working) and so I had to request through the front desk later that night just to especially clear the rubbish (rubbish bin was too small) and replenish the toiletries. When I visited the swimming pool and gym in the evening during my stay, there were hardly any staff manning the pool towel & gym counter. Once, I witnessed the pool towels packed in baskets (probably already soiled and will be sent to laundry) but there are some towels strewn about on the floor and it's not a very hygienic sight to behold. However, on the bright side, a huge Kudos to the hotel's team on their follow-ups. When we requested any service (maintenance / housekeeping), they'd be sure to follow up with a visit or a call...now that's five star service! Location is strategic with many F&B outlets just across the road. Juru Auto City at one end of the road and Icon City at the other end...both nearby. Parking is convenient at the front of the hotel on first come-first serve basis and more parkings at Level 5 above. Anyway, despite the shortcomings above, I did enjoy my 3d 2n staycation after the prolonged MCO and I look forward to my next stay.

Room: spacious, clean, brand new furniture, have fully equip kitchen Toilet: very clean w towel & water pressure is excellent Staff: friendly & helpful, I booked two room of 2 bedroom apt n should be pay for depo for 2 room but the receptionist only collect depo for one room, it so considerate. Parking : ample space Swimming pool: good! Operate until 10pm w jacuzzi Only ( -) : the lift is only 2 for all floor, so it takes time to go for pool n check out

Extraordinary Experience with Sky Residence ”
With the price we paid, we are extremely satisfied and happy with what we got from this booking. We never expect less than rm300 per night for 6 pax, we are getting an 4 stars and above stay environment. There are 2 rooms in the Residence, beds are new and comfortable, clean, all facilities i.e washing machine, tv and even the microwave are smart thing...if you are using samsung then you can maximize their facilities. It is located at Icon City...extremely convenient in getting foods...

Nice room.. Nice bathroom and beautiful . The only one is no hose tap water beside the toilet bowl.. High Water pressure... Other than that they should add on more TV channels. Got 2 TV 📺 inside the room. the pool just on the top of 39 floor. Nice view got gymnasium awesome.... No many people in weekend...

Newly-built serviced apartment with a lot of potential”
Sky Residence Prai is a newly-built serviced apartment with 38 storeys and rooftop infinity swimming pool, jacuzzi, and gym. One can view both Penang island and mainland from the rooftop. The in-room amenities are brand new and clean. However, the room in general requires more thorough cleaning as there were fruit flies, dust, stains, and litters here and there. As I'm allergic to dust, I had to wipe the surfaces which were full of dust to avoid severe allergic reaction. The rooftop facilities are the best features - open from 6.00am to 10.00pm - the view at night from rooftop is invigorating. Grear value for money compared to hotels in the area.

Absolute brand new hotel since Nov 2021 at great location with lots of makan places within walking distance 👍👍👍👍👍 Room layout is excellent with bedroom / living hall + kitchen is divided by a door . Check-in / out is efficient and ample parking at floor 5th and above + road side near main entrance . Will book again if we're in Bkt Mertajam again .
