Nice, Comfortable and Value for money”
The room is nice and clean, the only issue is they do not have Queen size bed where I requested for. Staff are friendly and Spoke decent English Breakfast is normal, not a lot of choice but enough For this price, you can only hope for 3 star hotel but this hotel is near to 4 star standard

Big and clean room, poor wifi connetion”
The good: 1. Spacious and clean room 2. Comfortable bed 3. Complete toilet amenities including toothbrush and toothpaste (Colgate and not some PRC brand) 4. Movie channels available on TV 5. Friendly and helpful staff 6. Breakfast spread was reasonable by Yangon standard The bad 1. At USD140 a night, you could get far better hotel in other cities like Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur but to be fair, this is Yangon 2. The fried vermicelli I had for dinner was very salty 3. Intermittent wifi connectivity 4. Access to hotel is via a long driveway so hailing a cab will need the help of the concierge 5. Not close to any shops in the neighbourhood although the Ocean supermarket is a short taxi ride away The ugly 1. The shower area gets flooded quite easily when taking a shower

A hidden great place to stay in Yangon”
Since the location is quite boring, nothing to explore in a few footsteps (there's just only one Supermarket in about 500 metres from hotel) but don't worry cause there's many taxi stand by to pick you up at the front of hotel. Hotel is quite big and functional, room is harmonious with a wide space. Good amenities and toiletries also. TV-maniac will love this hotel for sure cause there has an on-demand TV program with varies of choice for your entertainment. Breakfast was nice when i have stayed here. Swimming pool and gym are excellent (especially the fitness element). Every staff at this hotel is very awesome and friendliness. Overall is quite impress, just about location which is quite horrible!

Sky Star - Big room”
Was staying at Sky Star for 4 nights; Location wise it is nearer to airport and the Inya Lake, near to the newest shopping mall. The room of this hotel is huge, but b'c it is big, every room is installed with a big split unit aircon, and some rooms can be very noicy. Breakfast is fine. plenty of space to sit around for meetings. Huge hotel, but quite empty.

We stayed for two nights recently and while the hotel was clean and staff friendly, it was really in a remote location with no restaurants nearby. The pool was baking in the sun with no shade . On the upside: comfy beds, clean. When we returned to Yangon at the end of our trip, we ate the cost of this hotel since it was too late to cancel and stayed in a different. And better location

Good new hotel”
The hotel is a bit far away from everything, the rooms are nice decorated, but the spacious bathroom looks very basic. You wouldn't expect this, if compared to the room. Each room features a own load center with RCD protection for the circuits, until now I have seen such a (very good) setup only in Laos and Myanmar. A definite plus. The swimming pool looked very spacious from the balcony, but I had no time to have a clother look to that. Basically not a bad hotel, just a bit far away from everything (even taxis).

Utilitarian”
Hotel wasn't very cheap to start off, 4 star review on Agoda so I was expecting a little more. Room was normal, no idea why hotels still use white lights - they look awful. Shower had a poorly designed floor - it sloped away from the drainage hole so there was a perpetual 2inch deep puddle that covered half the shower area. Hotel had no facilities - the facility rooms were there but were empty, no gym or recreational rooms. Hotel pool wasn't working either, but to be fair the pool wasn't advertised. The hotel restaurant reminded me of a staff canteen - again, all white lights. The food quality also reminded me of a staff canteen. All in all, while it wasn't unpleasant, it wasn't worth the money. It's probably closer to a 2.5 to 3 star review type of hotel.

New hotel with large size rooms”
Skystar Hotel is a new and spacious hotel. The rooms are very spacious and the bed is ok. The bathroom finishings which i feel can be better. As for breakfast, the spread is rather simple with standard ham, bacon, salad, bread etc. And also local burmese food and fried rice, noodles, fried vegetables. A nice thing to have was the egg counter where they prepare upon request. For location wise this hotel has nothing surrounding it just some old buildings. The indoor stadium is just round the back a few streets away. Heading to town would require transport or taxi. Overall this is a nice spacious hotel to stay.

Good hotel, great breakfast, friendly staff. the only thing lacking from the room is a mirror. the only mirror is in the bathroom, but you don't want to go there to do your hair/clothes when your spouse is taking a shower/bath... So an addition mirror in the room would be nice.

Rooms are spacious and Clean”
Although there is free wifi, but the reception is very poor and slow. TV is linked to internet. Staff are friendly, but not all understand English. Hotel does not change foreign curency to local Kyats. No shops or restaurants within the vicinity. Distance to airport about 40 mins.

The room was dated with marks all over and poor maintenance for the cost. The pool and facilities that we used where brilliant. The breakfast was lovely. It's a shame the attention to detail is not shown in the rooms
