Excellent service”

The hotel is in a good location. Close enough to walk to the town centre. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is delicious. The only thing I can fault the hotel is the poor wifi connection on the 2nd floor where my room was.

Fairly new hotel, good value for money. ”

It’s located on a quiet street a few minutes walk from an ATM, a Catholic church, and Lolo Nonoy’s (a popular eatery). It’s not right where the “action” is but I prefer it that way. Everything is a short tricycle ride away. The front desk staff are super helpful and very pleasant to talk to.

The staff stood out for me, friendly, they always anticipate their customers’ needs. I love the free breakfast and how the staff and owner thanks after you finish breakfast. Great place, will definitely stay in this place again.

Amazing”

The location of the hotel is spot on. Few minutes walk and ur at down town shops. The restaurant they have at 3rd floor offers a good range of food choices you dont even need to go outside for a feed. the buffalo wings and the sisig is so good and tasty i cant get enough garlic rice with it. The spa offers a full body massage which is so relaxing after a long day tour. The swimming pool is so clean and big enough. The breakfast choices they have are limited but it is so worth it especially the pancake and the waffles, me and my bf thinks its too filling that u dont even need to have lunch anymore. The receptionist miss jesabel is so polite and lovely as she preety much organise everything for me, from my private tours, and my airport and pick up and drop off. The 3rd floor restaurant crew is so nice and friendly and the chef who cooks our food is amazing, the food is just to die for. Our room is equipped with basic stuff fridge, cups tv etc which is good enough as we are almost out everyday. The smoking area is well located and ashtrays are provided aswell which is a plus. We also like the retractable line outside our room for the wet rashies and swimwear that needs to be hang. overall the hotel is reasonably priced. but the gem on this place are the staff as they are polite amazing and knows what they are doing. When I arrived there was no in-room wifi”

As I had to work, I couldn't use the room. I had to book a different hotel. The Bluewave Hotel was kind enough to cancel my booking and refund my payment. So a big up for integrity. I highly recommend them.

Clean, quiet & a nice stay in Coron ”

Blue wave hotel was a great stay. Short walk to main restaurants and bars and 15 minutes walk to main market & boats. Staff are very friendly. The room was clean with a comfy bed. The shower had hot water and was fine. Breakfast was amazing serving bacon, eggs pancakes and fresh espressos. Breakfast came out in 4 minutes and the restaurant has beautiful views of the ocean and surrounding area. Cheers for a great stay

Young Married Couple Vacation”

This is our 2nd time staying at Blue Wave. It’s great value for a clean and hospitable hotel. The breakfast is always delicious and the staff were so helpful especially front desk! A/C works well. Great pool. Short walking distance to restaurants.

A haven in the middle of the city”

This place reminded me of Greece with its white walls and cement structures. The staff was pretty helpful and efficient. We love the warm temperature of the pool and since our room is adjacent to it we had the convenience of jumping straight from the glass door. I was worried at first that it might be too loud at night since it’s next to the pool but we didn’t hear the swimmers at all . The breakfast from the roof top had a great view also which made us enjoy our breakfast even more. We will definitely recommend this place to our friends and will want to come back again the next time we’re in Coron. Heads up! Don’t forget to order your breakfast the night before so they can prepare the ingredients ahead. We didn’t consider that an inconvenience at all so 5stars it is.

Very nice place to stay in Coron”

The place is clean and the staff are courteous. It is situated in the town proper, near a church and a lot of eating places. Good selection of breakfast and it has a swimming pool that my kids really enjoyed. Very nice hotel and we’ll surely stay here again.

We had a great time in bluewave. All the staff are very nice and friendly. The breakfast is very delicious. The location is excellent. The massage in bluewave must go!!! Highly recommeneded!!!^^ The pool is beautiful specially time during at night. I was having an unforgettable experiences.

we had a great time during our stay in the hotel. the staff were very accomodating and they always smile and greet when they see guests. the food serving was good enough. they had the basic facilities.price was ok. i liked the location the most as it was not noisy during the night and the food stops and mt tapyas was just on walking distance. the guard/staff will help you call tricycle if you need transportation. will definitely stay again if i ever get to visit coron :)

Good value with a nice rooftop view”

This was a great place to stay in Coron City with a nice pool and a great view and food from the rooftop bar and restaurant. Only complaint if any is that the rooms aren't as nice in reality as the pictures and could do with some decorations to break up the monotony of all white. Overall a great experience and I'd stay again.

Good location, helpful staff, decent breakfast, comfy bed; loved the pool access room. ”

Loved: 1) the towels we can borrow for beach/island hopping, 2)coffee/beers we can order by the pool, 3) rooftop view at breakfast. Fix: 1) aircon can be colder in the rooms, 2) bar upstairs should serve alcohol - we asked for gin/rum/vodka drinks and were told the bar wasn't a real bar (but glad you had beers at least), 3) lunch service was too slow on day of check-out and two orders took forever, we had one hour before leaving for the airport - need to fix your staff strength during peak hours like that.

Good value for money close to town”

The staff here were very friendly and accommodating to our needs. They have a great spa at the hotel and the food is delicious! Their pork sisig is the best dish I have tried, and the fried chicken. They provide all the services you require and can book tours. However I would not recommend booking a private tour through here as we had a terrible experience, which is no fault of the hotel.

Very worthwhile stay at affordable rate”

Great experience ! Hotel helped with airport transfers, island tours, clean swimming pool, big rooms and beds, delicious breakfast esp the waffles and an affordable de-stressing massage/spa. We pre-ordered breakfast the night before so no worries in the morning while trying to get ready for our island tour.

Blackout Free. They have generators”

Everything is good. Got 24/7 security, good service, cleanliness is awesome. Greeted by the owner itself. Good food. A bit pricey if your on a tight budget (backpacker) nonetheless awesome. WiFi is a bit tricky, no internet on rooms.

Only interested in taking your money ”

We gave Bluewave hotel 4 days notice that we needed to move our check-in date back by 1 day. Agoda said that our booking included date transfer and the Bluewave hotel showed that there were still rooms available (although we booked a deluxe pool room we said we were happy to take the standard room and still pay for the deluxe price which would only be in the favour of the hotel). Agoda said we had to arrange with the hotel and they refused to change our check-in date but said we were welcome to pay twice and book the room for the next day. We found this disgraceful considering that they knew there were still rooms available and our booking said that the dates were transferable. We ended up skipping Coron Town completely and headed on the fast ferry to El Nido. We can only recommend that Club Paradise was fantastic and we would never recommend the Bluewave hotel to anyone.

Nice hotel close to city proper”

Nice pool, staff are friendly and accomodating, breakfast could be improved. 2 minute walk to the city center, lots of places to eat.

Had a six day stay at Bluewave Hotel. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Room was clean and serviced daily. Breakfast menu was presented day before and the selection was varied. Ordering breakfast the day before had the benefit of having it ready and served when you want it. It was always served as ordered, hot and on-time. A benefit if you're trying to get out in the morning for scuba diving or an island tour. Security was present 24-hours. Obvious to me, the staff is well trained to serve guests.

Great hotel with good location”

Excellent staff and location. It is just outside of the town center, but a walking or tricycle distance away from restaurants, city center and Mount Tapyas. The pool looked just as advertised on Agoda. The breakfast selections were delicious. The views from the hotel were beautiful! Denver was an excellent help. He was friendly, warm and welcoming.
