Great place to stay, very relaxing”
We stayed for 7 days and had a pool view room n the ground floor which gave us. Good access to pool and breakfast room. The whole place was very well kept and Gardens were very nice, pools were well maintained & cleanse. & tidy. We liked to sit on sun beds facing the Ocean. Room had everything that we needed & bathroom was nice. Breakfast was busy at times when large groups were in but good choice of foods. We would definitely return as in perfect location for us & nice area.

The best hotel I have stayed in. The grounds are beautiful & pool area is spacious. We stayed in a pool view room. The room was clean and was roomy, with a small verandah, which was great for afternoon drinks. The breakfast selection is amazing & caters for all tastes. The staff were extremely friendly & helpful. I have booked to stay there again in February.

Have stayed here 3 times now and it’s been great every time. I’d highly recommend staying here. It’s more for couples and family orientated and not a party resort which is good if you want to relax by the pool or not be woken up in the middle of the night by young people partying. Resort is very clean and staff are very nice. Would stay here again!!

Stayed here for one week with my wife and two teenage kids. What can I say, this place is incredible... You literally don’t need to leave (and apart from a few occasions we didn’t)... The food was absolutely incredible (better than the restaurants along the main road). The staff were beyond friendly and helpful. The pool was the best I have ever seen and overlooking the beach. The massages whilst more expensive than other cheaper spas were so much better that the extra $10-$15 isn’t even worth trying to save. We had two inter joined rooms and they were also amazing. I can’t rate this hotel high enough. Thanks for an amazing stay!!!

a great hotel with fantastic service from the staff. i found all the bars and dining very reasonable priced too which was a nice surprise. the rooms are good, clean starting to feel a bit old but they do there job at the end of the day. Out of all the hotels along the beach in Kuta we felt like we have chosen the best one.

This hotel really hit home to me. In a country where there is so much pollution and water wastage etc, this hotel goes above and beyond to make people aware of their environmental footprint. Rooms had a auto light shutoff when the room was unattended and smart technology for the air con that sensed when no one in the room. There was little postcards everywhere reminding you on how to be conservative, there was recycling bins and they managed their green wastage efficiently. The staff were AMAZING!!! the food was beautiful and the location and views were beautiful. I simply couldnt fault it at all.

Our last visit to Bali, we stayed in 5 different hotels, 3 of them were 5 stars. We had the best breakfast at Discovery, better than Bali Hilton at Nusa Dua. We were impressed to see the main chef actually checking every station. The supervisor was very prompt at addressing any requests from customers or staff. I ordered a breakfast to go before catching an early flight, it was very simple breakfast, either sandwich or nasi/mie goreng. So, it was disappointing. However, I'd recommend Discovery to anyone.

Great destination for a relaxing holiday. Location is superb, staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast spread is excellent. Lots of restaurants and place for massage just out on the Main Street. Carla Spa is clean and reasonable.

This hotel would be the only hotel that I would stay in Kuta. It ticks all the boxes. Staff are lovely rooms and amenities are clean . Can't fault this hotel.

I am just sorry for the number of trips I have taken to Bali and not stayed the Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel. What an amazing hotel. The grounds, the pool, the location and the staff were second to none. Everything was fantastic. Yes it's an older hotel and the rooms could do with updating/modernising slightly, but the room and bathroom sizes were great and the balcony with views of the pool and ocean made up for any shortcomings. We will definitely be staying here again.

I cannot fault the Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel. From the moment I made my booking, they were very helpful and accommodating. The grounds and facilities are exceptional and the staff are very friendly and helpful. While in Bali we looked at a few other hotels in the Kuta area, as a comparison and this one came out on top. We will be making this hotel our go to hotel for Bali from no on.

We travel to Bali many times each year, This was the first time at this Hotel and we have to say the best we have ever stayed in anywhere. If you like a Bali theme with traditional kindness and just simple nice staff our stay was awesome. We loved it so much we have no intention of staying anywhere else.

Wonderful stay at the Discovery. Clean linen and bathroom. Yummy breakfast w good variety of food. Loved the pool! Kids section was covered, so they could swim all afternoon without being bothered by the scorching sun. Playground for kids was also fun. We didn’t make use of kids club bc the kids preferred swimming. Good location, beachfront although there is no direct access to a sandy beach - you’d have to walk ab 100m to be able to play on the beach. We paid extra for an upgrade to receive pool and ocean balcony view from the top floor, and it was worth it! Apparently this booking included a free NYE buffet dinner for 2, which we were unaware of. Nice surprise, but it would have been helpful to receive a notification by agoda ahead of time. Otherwise great stay! Thank you.

We have just finished 9 nights in a discovery suite. The room was fantastic for 2 adults and 2 teenage children. It had 2 large bedrooms and a large lounge room area and balcony overlooking the pool and water. Loved our stay here. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Location is very appropriate for family with young kids as we could just go beside the mall to get food for them. Breakfast buffet was a good spread and staff were very helpful and friendly. The bouncy castle was a bonus for the kids. Kids are allowed to feed the fish in the in the pond every morning. Room was big but cleanliness could be improved. Floor felt sticky if you do not ask them to clean daily.
