You stay at hilltop for the view of the city beneath you and the cool hilltop breeze coming through the room. While a little bit rustic the location and the staff made up for it a set of stairs set it aside from the noise and busyness of the town below the rustic rooms are very spacious. The only downer for my traveling companion was the lack of air-conditioning and the basic bathroom. But if you’re the type of person who likes to get out of the room and have a quiet place at night with a cool fan blowing air across the room you couldn’t do much better for the money than evergreen bay view on the hilltop. Wi-Fi is coming soon but in the meantime they had one of the best cellular signal’s around due to their hilltop location.

8/10 - great location, ok conditions, worth staying”
Very nice bungalow situated a little off the Port Barton Beach. Location is very good. It's 5 minutes from the Beach. However you have to walk steps up the hill to get there and it might be exhausting for some People. The view at the seaside is amazing! The room is clean, however standard is low, toilet is „asian style”. The owner is very friendly and helpful! He keeps the surrounding garden in perfect conditions and always offer his help. Port Barton is a really nice place to relax and do Island hopping. However the prices in the restaurants are too high! In fact Port Barton is almost as expensive as El Nido...

We had een pleasant stay for 4 nights. The view is breathtaking. Only downside is there was no mosquitonet... we got some bites even after using repellent.

Evergreen is in a perfect setting away from the village with a splendid view, a quiet atmosphere and sweet air. The owner, Walter, is patient, informative, has great stories and has carefully embedded himself in the community after thirty years. I stayed two nights and wish I’d booked a week. Please feed the cat, she’s beautiful.

The view from the rooms is the best of Port Barton and it's located in a quiet area 10min walking from the town and 3min climbing on the hill. The services were not as we expected. There was not hot shower and not wifi in the rooms. The room was clean but we got bitten by bed bugs or maybe sand flies on the bush walking to the room, we don't know yet.

Super satisfied with Evergreen Bayview”
Everything was just great; Port Barton itself, the view from the Bayview, Walter ( he helped us with everything; took us to the Bayview and booked us the van tickets to our next destination etc. he was great 😊) The cabin was roomy enought for the two of us as was the fan too, the room didnt get too Hot. Bathroom was outside and no hot water but it didnt bother us. Highly recommended, worth of your money.

It's all lies!”
We got there and we were in shock! The place is dark, toilet and shower are not really functioning like that, shuttle services? In dreams! They threw a flashlight and let us go in the dark! On the marked paths are a Nazi swastika, no blankets, no toilet paper, no air conditioning, open windows that can not be closed! Just shocking! Everything that was written and promised was one big lie!

Ein richtig toller Ort um sich in vollster Ruhe zu entspannen. Man sollte sich einen Scooter besorgen um unbeschwert in den Ort hinunterfahren zu können, aber die Fahrten hin und her lohnen sich allein für den Ausblick und die Ruhe oben auf dem kleinen Berg.

Llegamos y nos dejaron tirados ahi arriba sin nadie en las habitaciones que nos recibiera.. estaba tan lejos que nos costo media hora encontrar transporte hasta abajo del pueblo donde supuestamente tienen un restaurante. Al vernos tan enfadados nos ofrecieron habitación alli mismo y aceptamos. Ponia que habia wifi y cafe y ningun dia tuvimos ninguna de las dos cosas. La dueña es un encanto por eso, intentó durante toda la estancia que nuestra experiencia mejorara pero.. PD: el supuesto restaurante nunca lo vimos abierto

Chambre assez basique mais disposant d’une petite cuisine. Pas d’eau chaude mais terrasse avec super belle vue. A 10 min à pieds du centre. Il ne faut pas avoir peur des escaliers et des grenouilles. Personnel très très gentil et serviable !

Superbe hôtel ! Les petits bungalows sont juste génial, le notre était vraiment vue sur la baie de port barton, on avait également une petite cuisine, une salle de bain et un petit coin terrasse pour déjeuné vue sur la baie ! De plus Walker est très acceuillant ! Il n'y a pas de petit déjeuné mais un frigo avec des boissons fraiche est à notre dispo ! La wifi à port barton on oublie... il y a un boitier mais ça ne marche pas toujours! pas très grave en soit... Idéalement situé car éloigner des fiestas tardive et des aboiements des chiens... cependant on se rend dans le centre très rapidement ! en moins de 10min à pieds. Petit restaurent que je recommande pour le déj et pour le repas le Gacayan (le squid est top !) et le gorgonzola pour les immenses pizzas !
