This hotel proved to be a real find. The cheapest option near the centre of Zagreb at the time of booking, it surprised me with the size of the room, bathroom cleanliness , comfort of bed and best of all -- location, only a 5-minute walk from the tram and the central bus station. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a choice of restaurants within walking distance. The only downside is that roms do not offer kettle or fridge, but they serve coffee, tea and optional breakfast downstairs.

My comfy nest in Zagreb”
I was a very tired traveller when I rocked up to the Slisko at 6.45 am on a Monday. The night porter allowed me to store my bag and informed me I could get breakfast from 7 am and the day receptionist would help with check in then. After a breakfast where I, being so tired and stupid, made myself coffee using coffee, (added brewed coffee to granules!) I paid extra to check in early and was given a key to my 2nd floor room. Newly renovated, the bathroom was beautiful and the warm, welcoming jets of high pressure water massaged my weary bones before I climbed into a wonderfully comfortable bed for a few hours much needed sleep. I ended up extending my stay as I found it was so nice and I spent a day working in my room, only emerging for breakfast and a dinner of delicious pizza in the hotel's restaurant. My only 2 little annoyances while there was that the lift doesn't go to the 2nd floor so I had a flight of stairs to climb with my heavy bags and weary bones and that the restaurant is limited to pizza right now. But, the location is great, just a few minutes walk from the bus station and trams that take you around the city. It is on a quiet street so I had a restful few days and the staff are so wonderful, friendly and helpful. Shoutout to the lovely waiter in the restaurant that chatted to me for a while and made me feel extra welcome and recommended a great beer. I will be back.

Modern Hotel near Main Bus Station”
We were so satisfied with our stay in this hotel. Our hotel room was so clean, tidy and modern also bed is so comfortable. The hotel reception area are including the restaurant, bar and lounge look so modern, elegant and clean. Eventhough it is not directly inside the city center but it is only 500m walking-distance to the main bus station. So from there, it takes about 10mins to the city center with tram. The only thing that it could be better are with the air-conditioning system. It was a little bit complicated to set the desired temperature (because the AC remote didn't look like a normal one) and also the shower head should be changed to the better one. The breakfasts and the drinks are cheap yet tasty. In general, we were happy and satisfied. This hotel is very recommended!

Our stay at the hotel was great. Rooms were tidy and spacious. Hotek staff were simply amazing and helped us with all our requests even at late night ( we arrived post midnight). Do say hello to Aurel at the bar during your stay and Im sure you will end up having some great conversation.Location is very close to the bus station..

Very helpful and friendly staff. Clean, spacious and modern room. Very comfortable bed, linen and towels. Fast Internet connection. Good location. The only note to travellers who may be used to a few amenities as standards -- there is no mini-bar, kettle or fridge in any room. Instead, staff offered free chilled or hot water from the reception. Otherwise, very good value for money at the peak of tourist season in Croatia's capital.

Perfect location for us as we were visiting the clinic next to the hotel. Receptionists very helpful and welcoming. Parking very good unfortunately restaurant not open perhaps because it was Sunday? But was directed to other places to eat, breakfast good.

Nearby Central Bus Terminal ”
The hotel is located in a very convenient place near tram station, supermarkets and small shopping center. Staffs were very friendly. The breakfast buffet was great. However, there was no safety deposit box and it was troublesome to bring passport whenever going out. The bathroom was not cleaned very well.

Location is good less than5 mins to bus station. Many restaurants near by including Chinese restaurant. Supermarket is 2-3 mins from the hotel

Close to Bus Station Brilliant Staff ”
When getting into Zagreb airport there is a shuttle bus that you can get and Hotel Slisko is literally 5 mins away so location is brilliant for that but its about a mile to the centre of Zagreb. I did alot of walking. The Hotel itself though is brilliant! Very modern and clean and the Staff are the absolute best. Made me so welcome and were also funny and engaging. Cannot recommend the staff enough. Thank you

Close to the bus terminal, and you can walk 20 -25 minutes to the city center. There are also tram and bus services . Will visit Zagreb again next week as part of a tour group.
