A wonderful place to relax”
I’m now 3 times on this Island, but it pain my heart to see how this beautiful place goes down. POSITIVE: It’s a paradise to relax and enjoy. Super friendly personal, fantastic food and white sand with palm trees. Like in a movie! NEGATIVE: Only 2 cottages of 12 are good. In the other 10 cottages the owner have to invest money. Beach Full of sand flies! Very dirty behind the beach front. In main house is raining in. Owner please do something

This place is so basic, like living in a hut, but we absolutely loved it. It is so beautiful and so relaxing. But keep in mind showering in salt water and lights out at night and no electricity during the day. If you are happy with that, and your feet in the sand at meals, then this is the place for you.

Too expensive for what it is. Shower water was salty, electricity only from 6pm til 8am, very simple bungalows. It just should have been cheaper than it was. On the plus side, the island location is unbeatable. Just make sure you don't pay as much as we did.

Everything is superb. The island is majestic. It is really private. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The customer service is excellent. The food is really delicious which makes the hotel price so worth it. Our stay in Palawan became wonderful because of this place.

Though the hotel is a little far to access to, but it is totally worthy. Quiet place for relaxing. Staff are very friendly and service is well. The beach view is good, and I go snorling, enjoy that very much. I will recommend to my friend .

Most wonderful experience in my life”
The crystal clear blue water, shinning sun, white sandy beach and endless blue sky took my heart away. It felt wonderful on this island. Everything was so private and the hut I chose, I could hear the ocean waves, I stepped out of the hut I could be right in the ocean. I travelled to many different islands in my life but nothing felt as special as this place. The Resort gives you full information on what could be provided or what not - so you are fully aware of these before departing. I had a really small baby travelling with me this time and it was a bit difficult here and there with the facilities on the island but the owner and the staffs were really support and helpful. I wish I could stay longer or it's already in my plan to come back :) Love the experience and you would love it too.

Modessa Island is the perfect getaway for anyone looking for peace and quiet! This tiny secluded island is stunning, staff are extremely friendly and accommodating and accommodation is simple and tidy. Nothing beats the tranquility of this place!

Interesting place”
it is hotel in the island. you can walk around it by 15 min. this thing is the biggest and best advantage there. it is very nice to see fauna and flora in this island but if you are not snorkeling or diving you are not like to be there more then 2 or 3 nigths... the food is not the best in the hotel restaurant. it is good but i think not very fresh... the houses is too old and not so nice like was early when the hotel was open.

Simple but a great place!!!”
We stayed there a couple of days at the end of our Palawan trip and we enjoyed the island a lot. The cottage and facilies are very simple but you don't need more. To have this amazing white beach, very clean sea and coral reef in front of your cottages is just amazing!!

Lovely place and service with a smile”
White sand beach with beautiful coral. around the island to take a lovely picture. Use 15 mins can take around. Here has a junior diving school. Full board not many choose. Electric only supply on 6pm to 8am morning. The staff is very nice.

do the night dive if you are a diver - great guide and great sea life. try to get the a cabin with less crabs under it - they make a lot of noise at night

Eine Trauminsel für wenig Geld...”
Wir waren auf unserer Reise auf Palawan gleich zweimal dort, da es uns so gut gefallen hat. Sehr geil!

Ideal zum entspannen!”
Das Resort ist inmitten der kleinen Insel. Es ist perfekt für Leute die in Ruhe entspannen möchten, da sich nie sehr viele Menschen gleichzeitig auf der Insel befinden. Nach 3 Tagen hat es uns dann allerdings auch mit der Ruhe gereicht, selbst wenn es alles super schön war! Die Insel hat man in 20 Minuten umlaufen und der Strand ist sehr schön und es ist super zum schnorcheln geeignet! Die Cottages sind sehr einfach eingerichtet, dafür gibt es Vollpension und einfach einen gigantischen Ausblick. Für Leute die Luxusansprüche haben und auf einen hohen Zimmerkomfort nicht verzichten möchten, ist so ein Cottage allerdings ungeeignet. Wir persönlich hatten etwas Probleme mit dem Essen, aber das ist ja Geschmackssache! Außerdem darf man sich zu jeder Mahlzeit ein Essen aussuchen! Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich.

Wir waren 4 Tage dort und haben es sehr genossen. Der Strand ist super schön und das Wasser kristallklar. Die Insel ist in 20min zu Fuss umrundet und man kann toll schnorcheln. Die Hütten sind sehr einfach, aber sauber. Vor jeder Hütte hängt eine Hängematte und über den Betten sind gute Moskitonetze.

Guter Aufenthalt mit einigen Tauchgängen am Hausriff. Das Personal war stets recht freundlich. Die Cottage schön und direkt am Strand zur Sonnenuntergangsseite. Einziges Manko war das Essen. Leider nur gefrorener Fisch und keine Abwechslung oder frisches Tagesmenu. Spaghetti mit "Ketchup" ist leider ein no go. Hier könnte das Management in Zukunft die Gäste besser versorgen.
